YES! When I was growing up, my family actually had spoons with little serrations on the edges. Kind of this but maybe a little less pointy at the end. Nothing that would hurt you if you didn't intentionally do it. Made eating kiwis and oranges that much easier!

Be sure to peel as much of the white pith off as you can, or cut the grapefruit in half and eat with a spoon. Unlike oranges, which have a very mild pith, grapefruit pith is quite bitter.
