Nah you can use gloves. Calluses can be easily sanded down with a pumice stone. I enjoy all my calluses.

I use straps to finish some exercises if I find that my grip is the limiting factor.

Try doing some farmer walks for a couple weeks. They burn like hell but they are fantastic grip strength work. Grab a heavy dumbbell and walk for a distance. Repeat.

I used to swear by wodies because I loved the wrist support. I burned through two pairs of them, and still use them from time to time. But lately, I've been trying to get away from depending on the wrist support and just strengthen my wrists as I go. This led me to just getting these from Amazon for $16. After about a year, they're still holding strong! I am new to "grip" training (been powerlifting/bodybuilding) for few around 6 years. "SUPER GRIPPERS" look awesome to me being adjustable. I dont care for certifications, i just really want to get stronger forearms as possible for me. My question is; are they good as they seem to be? I would strongly recommend buying some wrist gloves that are used by bodybuilders to lift weights. Check these out, they come with a grip part in the middle.

What about something like these gloves? Weight lifters use those. If you like them, I'm pretty sure you can find a leather worker on etsy who can custom make them to fit the whole palm.



These are also weight lifting.

I tend to agree, and if I'm doing more than like 10 pull ups I always wear hand protection to avoid ripping, and it's just more comfortable. I've tried a few, and now I've ended up with these Bear Komplex grips. I love 'em!

I use gloves for kettlebells but mainly to prevent blisters and ripping of skin due to the constant rotation of the kettlebell during high-rep moves. I used to use normal lifting gloves with wrist support, but didn't like them. They keep your fingers + wrist in a rigid shape with less mobility so I would actually burn out my grip trying to hold onto my bell. I switched to minimal leather gloves which are smooth and allow the handles to glide, helping to prevent skin rips in the palms while not restricting my finger + wrist mobility. There are also gymnastics handgrips which are just like a layer of leather to cover the palms so you don't tear them up while doing high reps of pull-ups, etc. I also don't use the gloves all of the time - just when I know I'm doing high-reps of a move for a period of time (like swinging/snatches/etc. for 2 mins straight).
