How's $32 sound? Mounting it in the backyard is easy... mounting it in the ceiling of your bedroom is trickier. The normal hammock hanging kits are rated for 500lb static load, not the more vigorous dynamic loads you're thinking of employing. You'll need to build a hanging setup around one of these bolts or similar, and sandwich nuts and washers into a stack of 2x4 or 2x6 lumber that can be solidly mounted to your joist.

Throw up a triangular shade cloth and make a little nook for whatever and whoever? Do you have dogs? If so, you could give them a comfy little area that’s shades if they don’t have any real shade source. Or throw up a shade cloth and build a small pond! Or a shade cloth and a small private hot tub area, A huge fairy garden, a pizza oven pit or put up one of those kickass, super comfy swing or bench! Or frame and then pour a concrete pad and add a gate...that’s make for some good storage area....like for smaller playboat yaks or any yak that would fit. Can you take down any of the panels to the left and make it a few feet wider? If so, depending on where it’s located, a tiny tiki bar would be sweet with just a couple shade cloths for shelter/shade and just a cheaper roof than building an 1980’s style slanted roof out of wood. I guess I’d need to see the whole yard and where this little nook of opportunity is physically at and go from there....that and what kind of budget your working with.

Eno Double Nester

☝️☝️☝️I personally have one of these (Eno Double Nester) and everyone loves it!

I got 3 boys - I take them hiking and fishing. Total cost is approx. $15/day including fishing licenses and/or parking fees (usually donations) and a gatorade to share.

We have a Stone Mountain pass (not the expensive membership, although it has been tempting). They have a lots of fun places like playgrounds, hiking, and a neat area where kids can kinda splash in a creek. (Near the grist mill, just walk along the creek/trail until you get to where it crosses the creek).

Your area has tons of great trails though, download the "AllTrails" app and you can find lots nearby. A 4 year old can do all the "Easy" trails and a fair amount of the "Moderate" Trails, as long as you are willing to turn around instead of finishing longer paths!

My favorite Roswell trail is the Old Mill Park. I've seen people fish in the stream there, too, but I haven't fished there myself, yet.

I also like to take my kids to different parks, I have an inflatable pod swing that I keep with some strong rope in my trunk, as well as a seat-disk . When we go to parks and trails we keep an eye out for a good place to hang the swings, temporarily. Depending on how busy the places are, sometimes a bunch of other kids will want a few pushes on the swing.

It looks really nice! I've decided to transform my seldom used dining room into my main houseplant area and am struggling to figure out where and how to add shelves. This looks clean and organized and I wouldn't have to deal with where to hang anything.

I removed my dining room table and was seriously thinking about putting a hanging chair swing right in the middle of the room so I can just be one with my plants. If I could also line the walls with these shelves and adorn them with my plant friends I'd be in heaven =]

330lb capacity

adjusts up 93" high

Hang the chair on it when not being used for suspension to conceal its purpose "in plain site" ;-)

I'm pretty sure I have the same one. I got it from Amazon here. it looks like it's no longer available, but I'm sure there are similar ones you can find! It was pretty inexpensive, like less than $40.

I've been pretty hesitant with adding off-beat items for fear that the guests/older family members would respond poorly to them, but this thread has given me new life! Some other things I've added are:

I got the same one off Amazon

Link!

Its super pretty but I find that it isn’t very comfortable. I recommend you get a hammock spring for it and consider cushions too!

u/scotch_please · 4 pointsr/BDSMcommunity

I think you'll want to search for hammock or outdoor stands, not indoor furniture ones (which seem to be smaller). This one says it's 7 ft tall. So if the length of arm that's restrained straight above someone's head is around 17", I think your partner would have to be no more than 5'5" to feel like they're being faux-hanged. Any taller and they'd have too much slack around the restraints.

We went very unconventional with our nursery seating and hung a hammock chair. I didn't nurse in the baby's room when he was super little (or really use his room at all) but after the first few months we love this option. It's super space efficient when it's not in use and perfect for nursing, giving a bottle, storytime or rocking / swinging and very comfortable! We hung it next to the window and it will be an awesome reading spot when our son is older too.

Well for swinging, getting hammock or hammock chair allows you swing with latter allowing you to spin around. Just make sure you have a place to install it safely.

What if she had a hammock like this

I would love if my husband got me this and some other small things -weighted blankets are popular right now, high quality stemless wine glasses, or a silk pillowcase.

u/daiquiri-glacis · 2 pointsr/Parenting

My daughter has a Hanging Seat Hammock that sounds like it may provide the same sort of feeling that he's looking for.

If that doesn't work, could you live with privacy window clings?

u/silverzeta25 · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

I've seen things like this seat at furniture stores before. Not quite the same as a swing, but similar?

I would not hang it from the eaves you pictured. Those are basically decorative, not really structural. Since you're renting, I would get a hammock chair stand https://www.amazon.com/Sorbus-Hammock-Hanging-Loungers-Capacity/dp/B071NN2LDZ

u/ThrowAway-7219 · 1 pointr/SexToys

We have been thinking about this too and are in a similar situation. Instead of a big bulky stand we were thinking of using something like this swinging chair stand and attaching whatever swing we can find. Though we haven’t done it yet. That way it’s easy to hide since it’s just “furniture”.

  1. Protractor Pizza Cutter for your inner math nerd

  2. I keep my cell phone near so I can call the police in an instant.

  3. check out the great Steam it is the most used desktop app for me.

  4. I can't get over this welcome Mat the pun on it is best.

  5. My favorite piece of furniture is my storage cubes. They take up so little space, help me organize stuff, and fit in with my decor. They were also the first piece of furniture I picked out for myself.

  6. This is a swing chair and I hope to someday own one and have it inside my house at a table. I will then declare it a DM seat during tabletop games.

shrdbrd you lazy bum, heres some cool stuff

The best use I have found for it is to move myself just a touch away from her and use my arms to pull her on to my erection. As the standing position also does, it take 100% of my weight off her body and allows her free access to play with her clit for maximum stimulation.

The one I have came from here.

I think that this one is a very budget friendly one that could be put up in a more open place like the living room and could be fun.

I would suggest also making sure that you buy a good quality spring for the connection for the last one and rated carabiniers if you plan to take it down.

When putting up ceiling hooks in shared places, potted plants hanging from the ceiling make a nice way to hide the more naughty uses.

We have a very active and enjoyable sex life :)

I'd buy one of these and either some good books or some mobile games
