I hope this is a step towards having something like these bad bois as a regular smartphone. If you improved the specs a bit and added calling and a headphone jack, I'd be all over that.

I was going to try take a jab at you about it, but then I remembered I have a couple Dell Axim laying around somewhere.

Wow! 8 MB RAM. That's all anyone should ever need! Still available on Amazon for $100.

Hell yeh! I had the 624mhz Xscale high end edition with VGA screen! I also had a SD card AND a IBM Microdrive in mine, all 2Geebees of precious data in mine! God It's sad looking back now, Actually the specs are still good for a low end Android device now (after 7 freaking long years). Huh... they still sell for $250?? Damn, I'm selling mine

Possibly this.

With similar springboard module.

OP here. Thank you for your feedback. I came across the IPDA030 and and it has everything I was looking for. Was planning to scan QR codes with the camera in the app we are making but a dedicated barcode scanner might even work better.

Do you know of anything similar to this phone just so I have more to choose from before I make my purchase?
