But yes, malt powder contains malted barley and flour.

Also note there’s two versions of the hot chocolate: no sugar added and reduced calorie, no sugar added is 60 cals per packet and reduced calorie is 35 cals per packet. The boxes look very similar so make sure you double check you’re getting the one you want!! Tbh they both taste the same so I just get the reduced calorie one.

Honestly with winter already here in a cold snap from hell I've been doing the same. Brace yourself!
First I recommend all the thermals and jackets.
Cold feet are the worst second only to wet ones. Invest in good boots and heavy socks.
If you have a thermos or if you are staying home I am a hot-cocoa addict. (Milk not water, melt marshmallows while too hot to drink, keep layering them until you can sip without burning your mouth, add cinnamon and nutmeg on top.) I recommend this to try out, its friggin' scrumptious.

I'm talking about the Swiss Miss cocoa packets. They're meant for 6 fl oz, seeing as a 2.0 bottle is 14 oz, two packets is just about right. A lot of people get the water-to-cocoa ratio way off, and wonder why their hot chocolate is so bland. That being said, I've only ever made Soylent hot cocoa with a single packet. It tastes good, but is only moderately chocolaty. Specifically, I used this stuff.

Side note: I just added this to my Amazon wish list because I intend to buy some when I have a bit of extra cash (hopefully in the next week or so). I'm like you, coffee just isn't my bag, and I'd love to have an alternative. ThinkGeek used to have an arsenal of caffeinated products, but that seems to have dwindled in the last few years. Probably due to excessive prices.
