Np. Might need to experiment a bit with position of tape to get the desired effect and invisibility. I'd recommend the tape roll instead of precut strips. I used this:

It's also the tape my physical therapist used for my shoulder so I knew how my skin would handle it. Bandaid adhesive usually gives me a rash, but this stuff was okay. It lasted me about 3 days of continuous wear with daily shower in the summer on my shoulder, so it should hold up to one day for a wedding. Be sure to remove it in the shower and/ or with oil so it doesn't hurt your skin and remove it slowly (not like a bandaid). Also be sure to round the corners with scissors dip they won't fray and roll up. PT forgot to cut the corners one time and tape barely made it a day then because the corners lifted up. For binding it is recommended you cover nips with something because the skin is more sensitive, so probably want pasties, but a piece of tp works in a pinch.

Edit: Also it doesn't stick very well to itself. It's designed to stick to skin, so try to lay the tape in a way that minimizes overlapping pieces wherever possible. You'll probably end up with some overlap, but that's okay.

In the past, I used this one and it worked well. Never moved out of place or slid. It got a bit gross when I sweated and it caused eczema, so I switched to KT tape, which also worked well.

However, I'd suggest PT on the other leg, as well. I put up with knee pain for way too many years before doing PT and ran a whole marathon training cycle with zero knee pain. There are a lot of reasons that could cause your knee pain, so I'm not going to try to pinpoint yours, but mine was a weak IT band, and literally all I needed to do was like 4 minutes of exercises nightly, and my knee pain just completely went away.

Good luck! I also use kt tape to help the pads stay in place, esp if it's in an area that's not flat or moves.

I'm a little late to this party, but I'd avoid KT brand in the future. I had a lot of skin problems with it. My chiropractor uses Strength Tape on me and it's so much better with my skin. It lasts longer - usually 7-10 days. If it starts peeling, I just cut the excess so it doesn't rip off, taking skin with it.

I currently have the Mama Strut Maternity Shorts. They are pricey, but I was able to fine a pair secondhand that were never worn.

But, I'd also recommend this tape: https://www.amazon.com/Laneco-Kinesiology-Breathable-Resistant-Recovery/dp/B07SJ7DMTC

Fabric sports tape would be great for this situation. Its strong and has a strong adherence. Doesn't have to be this exact one but something similar.

Same here! I used it for countless sorority events and I even ran around from hotel room to hotel room fixing girls whose strapless bras were failing them! I'm a 32DDD. This is the tape that I use, I've repurchased it several times, highly recommend!! Watch a couple of videos and you'll get the hang of it - just remember to put some tissue over the nips so it doesn't hurt when the tape comes off

I used KT tape to add support when the head of my bone was sliding in the socket and causing pain. I'd ask some of the therapists that you've seen to show you how to properly apply it. It's meant to be worn for several days and is waterproof for a while if applied correctly.

I get mine on Amazon for a good price

edit: It sounds strange but, I find the nude color seems to stick better.

KT tape comes in a variety of forms. The brand KT has wide, stretch, extra strength, etc, so just avoid the stretch.

Here's what I buy: Therapist's Choice® Kinesiology Tape, 2"x105' PRE-CUT Bulk Roll (BEIGE), PRE-CUT into easy-to-apply 10 inch strips. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DSST6W4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_9fZyDbYSRVP5T

Okay, I have had shin splints for about a week now so the best thing obviously to do would be to ice, rest, and slow stretching exercises. Besides that, I have recently found a tape product that helps with support & stability for muscles, joints, and tendons without limiting range of motion like a traditional brace. It's called Strength Tape. I HIGHLY recommend it. I have had shin splints for a week and these past three days I have had them on, I feel amazing! I can walk normally without the consistent pain shooting up my shins. You can purchase it from their website or on Amazon where I prefer considering the prices there are much better. Hope this helps you and hope you recover quickly!

I use this and I have noticed no difference compared to brand name. No skin reactions, good adhesive etc.

I got it about a month and a half ago, what’s worked best for me is kinesiology tape. There’s a good tutorial on application..

Other then that, a physical therapist I work with showed me a very subtle calf stretch that helps take some tension off of the tendon. Also, ice massage and alternating heat and ice baths.

But ya, definitely stick with the bike until the pain is totally gone, otherwise rupture is gonna take a hell of a lot longer to heal.
