Because obviously it is literally impossible to find tiki torches anywhere other than a brick and mortar store. It just can't be done.

I finally got some nice photos taken of my Melisandre cosplay a few weeks back!

I also threw in a few shots of the necklace construction. My old necklace was made of all foam and had a flickering LED to make it glow but a friend accidentally sat on it the day before the photoshoot and crushed it...so I had to rush the new necklace and it doesn't glow yet.

  • Dress is self-made from upholstery fabric; I modified a Simplicity 1487 Cersei pattern.
  • Necklace is self-made from thin craft foam sandwiched in worbla + rhodolite garnet E6000'd onto the worbla
  • Wig is from Pose Wigs
  • Torch is from Amazon

12 for 56 bucks from Amazon. I wouldn't suggest purchasing them in large quantities alone if you're a white dude. Charlottesville forever ruined that for us

> If there had turned out to be any actual evidence of election rigging in either candidates favor, I'd be out there with torches and pitchforks as well.

There is no lack of evidence that the election was rigged. In favor of Republicans, that is:

This is a pretty good deal if you want to just buy in bulk.

I don't know how much your friends drink. But I would always buy more beer than you think you need. The worst thing for a party is to go out of drinks.

For food, I would always make something like chilli. You can eat it with bread and you don't need too much of it. Or some kind of soup. Maybe even quiche (but thats a lot of work to serve for 50 people).

For the balcony maybe buy candles or even something like this (I assume your party will be at the evening/night). Maybe have some blankets ready, for people who get cold pretty fast.

Also buy a lot of non-alcoholic drinks (juices, water, coke, etc.) and maybe some liquor (Vodka, Jägermeister, etc.). Don't forget: Leftover drinks don't go bad quickly, so you may have a years supply left over… So what?

Also, not a native speaker. I'm not a party expert myself, just my thoughts on this. Hope this helps!

I believe that may not be too harsh if we bring the pitchforks and torches!!!

This is probably the best option. Also, add some tiki torches

How does using a tiki torch in your yard for reading give off that impression? You're not carrying it around using it for intimidation in protest. You're using it to protect against mosquitos... Is all fire off limit these days or just tiki torches? This is a tiki torch that doesn't look like a Nazi tiki torch so would maybe be ok?

I looked up "brass coupling" on Amazon, because who has one like that lying around, and where would you get one? This was the first result:
