I did some research with google (and invite you to do your own as well, because you may be better than I!) and didn’t find much, however. this one is actually the one I own (I bought it at Walmart, but this Amazon link has a picture) it doesn’t get that hot, but.. I don’t recommend touching it either way. Just manage the cord, and move it when it’s not on. Hope this helps!!

I'm personally a big fan of a webcam pointed at a glitter lamp: http://www.amazon.com/Lava-Lite-2-Inch-Classic-Glitter/dp/B000GURTV2 .

Throw whatever kinds of arbitrary post-processing you want at it (use the hash of one image as a nonce, another hash as the password, and encrypt the third image using any one of the non-ECB feedback modes; as you get new images, rotate the images out, and continue... as an example post-processing step), and get a pretty light show besides :)


I'm only halfway serious. Provably good entropy is important, though the majority of people don't really need it. For those who just like to play around, a crappy webcam is a 1-up on /dev/random. For real stuff, the key looks pretty sweet.
