I'll give it a shot. I actually get lots of comments about thick semen in my porn videos.

Edit: here is what I added to my cart for my next Amazon Prime purchase: https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Lecithin-1200mg-100-Softgels/dp/B000MGOXUA/

Lecithin 1200mg pills 1 to 2 times a day. I take 2 pills 2 times a day. You can take 2 a day, 10 a day, whatever. My bottle says take 3 pills, 1 to 2 times daily. It takes about 2 weeks to build up it's full effect and is safe to take indefinitely. You'll notice a difference in a couple of days, so don't feel like you can't ejaculate for a few weeks or something. Since there is a bigger load, I orgasm easier. I think my orgasm threshold is based on how much 'load' is stored up. Women also take it for clogged up milk ducts. It's cheap stuff, about $15 for a bottle of 400.

Pygeum also helps, but Lecithin is the biggest one, and safest. I don't feel comfortable about taking pygeum indefinitely.

I didn't even know what pre-cum was before the internet because my body never produced it and its not something you generally are exposed to unless you're half-a-fag. I went from not even precumming to having my dick drip like a faucet with pygeum.

This may catch some flack on here, but you could consider investing in some soy lecithin. It's a pretty good emulsifier and one that is probably most accessible for home use. There are plenty other emulsifiers and even different types of lecithin. Then we get involved with HLB values, but we'll save that discussion for a later date. There are food-based sources of lecithin like mustard and egg yolk, you could try that I suppose.

Source on soy lecithin

If you're curious about naming convention of emulsions, read on...

The emulsion you're describing is an oil-in-water emulsion. Oil being the dispersed phase and water/milk being the continuous phase. (Milk itself is an oil-in-water emulsion, but let's ignore that for simplicity sake) There are different ways these phases interact. When the dispersed phase is nicely distributed in the continuous phase, we call that a good emulsion. When things go wrong we call it:

  • Coalescence - this is when dispersed phase particles come together and touch and then proceed to form a larger particles
  • Flocculation - this is when particles attract to each other and form "flocs", the particles remain intact but form agglomerate-like structures
  • Sedimentation - the dispersed particles settle to the bottom of the emulsion; usually this means that the dispersed phase density is great than that of the continuous phase
  • Creaming - the inverse of sedimentation; particles rise
  • Phase inversion - when the phases switch places; whipped cream is a version of this
  • Others...look up Ostwald Ripening if you want your mind blown!

Here's a picture summing it up.

When an emulsion "breaks" this is a combination of creaming and coalescence. In your situation fat droplets rise and merge together to form an oil slick. So how do we prevent this? An emulsifier is the easiest way. The exact mechanism of how emulsifiers work is very complicated and can't be fully explained without talking about stuff like Gibbs' isotherm. Looking at it simply, emulsifiers prevent the dispersed particles from coming together.

This was my question. Also, is it available on Amazon?

Edit: It seems like another fat, to aide in absorption. I read a few articles, and not much was conclusive.

I found some on Amazon here.

Recipe:

•1fl oz infused coconut oil Calculator for dosing

•2fl oz water (or juice is what I use)

•like an 1/8th tsp of sunflower lecithin

•2x Knox gelatin envelopes (1.8g ea iirc)

•3oz (small box) Jello brand whatever flavor

Tartaric acid (manufactured Citric acid is low key poison FYI)

•organic raw sugar

Directions:

Put infused oil and water in like a small candy pot and stir till they’re mixed up very well (try to keep as cool as possibly without the coconut oil hardening). Mix in the Knox gelatin thoroughly, then add the jello box and do the same. Next you just let it sit for 10-15mins for sugar to bloom or some shit, should be like thicc applesauce .

I like to go low and slow, I have a little copper pot that holds heat well so I want to gradually build up the heat till I get to my desired temps (I’ll us IR gun or candy thermometer next time to be more accurate).

On my stove I start at 2 on the dial and continuously stir with a little whisk for maybe 5-8 mins till it looks like it’s starting to melt down. Turn it up to 3-4 on the dial while still stirring continuously, another 8-10mins till it’s all melted down, it’ll get clear and get more syrupy if you let it drop off the whisks. Usually once I see a little vapor or if I stop stirring it bubbles at all I pull it from heat and keep stirring.

Switch the dial to LOW (want to keep pot pretty warm to keep goop from solidifying) and start filling the molds with a dropper that came with the molds. I usually have a helper because I have zero patience. One stirring, one filling molds. Makes the process a lot easier. i usually get 100-110 gummy bears. If you end up with more you didn’t cook it long or hot enough and they’ll likely sweat/weep.

Next I put them in the freezer for 30mins to an hour depending what all I have going on.

I have a cooling rack that I pop the gummy bears out on straight from the freezer, air dry (my ceiling air vent hits the counter just right to speed this along).

Toss the bears in a Tupperware with whatever coating suits your taste, Mine is usually around 1-1.5 tsp of tartaric acid and 1-2 cups of sugar mixed in (I’ll use this to coat a few hundred before I tweak it at all). Shake vigorously and make sure all get evenly coated. Toss bears in a sifter to clean up and back on the cooling rack for 15-30mins. Double coat if needed.

Should be find under 78-80°f ambient air, no sun. Store in fridge just to be safe til used.

Pro tip: Add 1tsp per lb of butter sunflower leciten when you add the herb. Works as an emulsifier that helps bind the thc to the fats.

Okay, so a while ago I said I was going to make a gummy bear tutorial and I never did so I thought it was about time I at least made a write up for them. This recipe will get you right around 200 gummy bears.

Tools:

  • Small non stick pot with a lid
  • medium non stick pot
  • 60ml Syringe - Here
  • stiff silicone spatula - Here
  • 2 small pyrex dishes - Here
  • Candy theremometer - Here
  • Fork to stir with
  • Gummy bear molds (or any other you like) - Here I also just found these
  • Measuring Cup
  • Measuring Spoon
  • Strainer - Here
  • Medium/large bowl
  • Partchment paper
  • A few large tupperware containers
  • Dram droppers for the flavorings - Here

    Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Jello (85 grams if you have a scale) in the flavor of gummies you want
  • LorAnn oils concentrated flavorings - Here
  • LorAnns oils mold Inhibitor - Here
  • LorAnns oils Preserve-it Antioxidant - Here
  • 5 Tbsp plain gelatin powder - low quality / less chewie here High quality / more chewie here
  • 1 tsp of Soy lecthin powder - Here
  • 1/2 cup of Real Fruit juice of the flavor you want to make, get creative here, needs to be cold. Cold water can also be used but the flavor is not as good.
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Glycerin - Here
  • 6 grams of Concentrates (AKA: BHO, Shatter, Wax, Oil, Hash oil, etc)
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Cornstartch

    Decarbing

Pre-heat your oven to 250F - 260F, use the digital theremometer to keep an eye on the temp to make sure it stays around there and does not get above 260F. I like to place my concentrates into the small pyrex dish and decarb in that. Put the dish with your concentrates in the oven for 30 minutes. You can check it around the 30 minute mark and see if it is fully decarbed. Look for it to be pretty clear of all little "carbination" like bubbles. When those are mostly gone you are done decarbing. It will take around 30 minutes. Go a little longer if you want couch lock / sleepy time gummies.

When it is done decarbing pull it out and set it to the side for a minute.

    Infusing the coconut oil

Grab your medium sized pot and put a few inches of water in it. get it to a boil then turn the temp all the way down to a very low heat. When the water is ready place your dish with the freshly decarbed oil into the water bath and add the 1 Tbsp of coconut oil to the dish.

Let the two mix for a few minutes until they are nicely combined. It shouldn't take long maybe 10 minutes max.

    Grease your molds

At this point if you dont have silicone molds (I do and I still grease mine for precautions) grease your molds so you don't forget to do it before adding your gummies.

    Preping fruit juice (or water)

In the second small pyrex dish pour your real fruit juice / water or whatever base liquid you are using for your gummies. I havent tried much besides fruit juice and water but you can experiment with other liquids, but don't do an experiment on a batch with THC in it just in case something doesn't work out.

To the fruit juice / water add 1 tsp of soy lecthin and stir with the fork. Place the dish in the fridge for 5 minutes or so and stir again. Let it sit in the fridge stirring occasionaly until the soy lecthin is fully desolved.

This liquid mixture NEEDS TO BE COLD for the blooming process to work so make sure to keep it cold.

    Mixing the dry ingredients

In your small non-stick pot mix the following together: 85 grams of Jello, 5 Tbsp of Gelatin, 1/4 cup of sugar. Completely mix them all together and dont let any of them get wet yet. Stir and stir until they are completely mixed.

    Blooming

Take your mixed dry ingredients and pour in your friut juice (water) soy lecthin mixture. Stir it and get everything evenly mixed and make sure there are no lumps. When everything is evenly mixed place the lid on the small pot and let it sit for 10 minutes.

This is called "blooming" the gelatin and allows the gelatin to absorbe the water. The water needs to be cold because gelatin activates at about 120F and after that will start to set when it cools. We don't want it setting right now.

If you want to make MCT oil, here's the method I use for extraction:

  • Decarb 60 gm of bud at 250 °F for 45 minutes
  • Chop lightly in blender
  • Add to crockpot and cover with 600 ml MCT oil + 1 tbsp lecithin
  • Heat at about 160 °F for 2 - 3 hours with occasional stirring. Check the temp periodically so it doesn't over heat.
  • Let cool, filter and transfer to 1 oz dropper bottles

You should have enough to fill 16 - 20 bottles. Depending on the strain, the oil should contain 15 - 20 mg/ml THC.

    Some items you may need:

    Turkey Bag for decarb

    MCT Oil

    Lecithin

    Digital Thermometer

Honey Strainer to remove the particulate

    Large syringe for transferring oil

    Dropper Bottles

My advice would be:

  1. Really the only thing that would help with potency would be to add some lecithin.

Which would not actually increase potency, but makes it bioavailable and able to pass through cell membrane. So, with lecithin, it will hit you faster and you body will be able to process more of the cannabanoids because it's not having to be processed through any organs (i.e. liver).

As far as the quantity of lecithin goes, I have never been able to get a concrete answer, with data to back it up, about the ratio of lecithin to hash oil.

But I will say that I have seen 2 different medical marijuana processing lab's recipes for tincture calling for almost a 1:1 ratio (one called for 1200g lecithin to 1400g hash oil). I've read a few reputable forum's that state the close to 1:1 ratio for hash oil to lecithin as well.

All that being said the lecithin is almost certainly (as in every type I've tried) going to effect the color, consistency and taste of the final product.

My advice on lecithin would be once you have evaporated as much ethonal off as you want, to add as much lecithin as you feel comfortable with. Even a little bit is going to help and you can't really put to much in (unless you are putting more lecithin than the rest of the tincture by weight, which would be noticeably a lot).

2.Do not strain it. The main reason anyone strains edibles is to remove the plant matter. Which if using bho there should be none.

  2. Once it has been decarbed it is (almost >90%) entirely active cannabanoids. So letting it sit is going to make a negligible difference.

    Last 3 tips.

  3. I add a little bit of honey to give it a more tolerable taste.

  4. Use low heat to homogenize the mixture, after adding lecithin, or just add the lecithin and stir while it's warm.

  5. Adding the lecithin is going to either increase the portion size or decrease the potency per volume.
This is simply because the added lecithin will increase the overall volume.
So a 10ml serving of tincture without lecithin has more room for cannabanoids than a 10ml serving of tincture with lecithin.

TLDR; adding lecithin (up to an almost 1:1 ratio) will help the tincture hit you faster and prevent your liver and digestive system from destroying precious cannabanoids, No need to strain it, and no need to let it sit once it has been decarbed.

PM me if you need any clarification, but the process you have laid out will certainly work.

Edit: looks like amazon no longer sells the lecithin I use (Piping Rock liquid sunflower lecithin).
But here is a good alternate.

I advise getting it from an online retailer, since it is hard to find anywhere, but potentially health food stores.

My suggestion is to stick with liquid lecithin as opposed to granules and to get sunflower as opposed to soy lecithin.

A lot of people have negative reactions to soy based lecithin, this is likely due to them being made from GMO soy beans which are known for causing stomach discomfort of varying degrees.
u/Volden · 3 pointsr/cumsluts

Soy lecithin is very good for you and has a mild taste (I like the taste). I put a spoonful on yogurt or mix it into other meals (like beans). It's also an emulsifier so it's great to add to smoothies and the like, because it helps.. well... emulsify whatever you're mixing.

It's also MUCH cheaper to buy a big container of it than to buy supplements - which is just the granules packaged in capsules and the price jacked up.

Here is a link to the kind I usually buy - great price, too.

[Sunflower Leicethin] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BHZ71G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uyWxzbA7RR1J5) is awesome. I had thrush and a clogged duct once, lactation consultant recommended this and I went three months without a problem, forgot to take it for a week and started to feel a clogged duct coming on. Took it, massaged/heated it and it went away. It lubricates your ducts so the fatty deposits don't get stuck as easily. It's also amazing for your skin, so that's a bonus! Downside, the pills are huge, but they're not too bad to take. You can also break them down to eat on applesauce or something, but I'm not sure how tasty it would be. Good luck!

I bought my lecithin on Amazon (here). But before that I found it in the supplement section of my local Whole Foods-type store.

Just some info: I feel like I've had better success in preventing clogs with sunflower lecithin (as opposed to soy), but I'm sure both work fine. I take 1 pill 4x/day.

And one more person chiming in: do not stop nursing on the side with your mastitis. I've had multiple rounds of mastitis, and I find that nursing on that side helps it heal much better than pumping.

My wife had a lot of luck with the Legendairy Milk

The doctor and lactation specialist recommend anything with fennegreek but my wife didn't take well to it so they said this stuff would be better for her. I think it gave her digestion issues so these were a great alternative.

u/hollyrocks · 2 pointsr/breastfeeding

Have you tried taking sunflower lecithin? My milk is very thick and fatty, so nursing was painful until I started taking it 3x a day at first, then I dropped down to 2x a day. It basically helps your milk flow a little more smoothly. Other than that, time will cure a lot of the pain as your nips toughen up. But definitely try lecithin for immediate relief. This is the brand I use.

u/vff · 2 pointsr/UlcerativeColitis

I thought it’d be useful to post a nicely-formatted list of everything I was taken, with links to the products as well as the evidence-based papers and studies for each.

Methodology

I won’t take anything based on someone saying “this worked for me.” It needs to have real, scientific evidence. I have read hundreds of journal articles, seeking out quality evidence for things that have been shown to help with ulcerative colitis.

Of things with evidence, I tend to focus on things that have the fewest side effects possible.

Unfortunately, some of these things are only available as “natural supplements” which means that rather than the active ingredient being perfectly isolated, they contain a bunch of other random stuff from wherever that came from. I tried to choose companies for the natural supplements that seemed reputable, so at least I’d hopefully be getting what they claimed I would.

Background

I was having a flare—including abdominal pain and blood in my stool. I continued taking my oral mesalamine, then as I had for previous flares, added a mesalamine enema, used nicotine patches, and took wheat grass tablets. I added each one every two weeks. After eight weeks, the blood had long since stopped, but the pain didn’t.

I contacted my doctor. He added prednisone at 40 mg/day. That made things worse. After a week, he upped me to 60 mg/day. After one week of that, and no improvement, I added many other things, as outlined below.

After taking all of these things for a month, the pain hadn’t stopped.

I had a colonoscopy, which showed no inflammation. None. My doctor and I agree the pain is likely from something else; I will soon have a CT scan to help figure out what.

Do any of the things below work? In theory any, all, or none of them could have contributed to my colon being perfectly normal and healthy. There is no way to know which, if any of these, did anything.

Everything I was taking, dosages, and evidence

IMPORTANT: Almost all of the studies referenced below combine these things with mesalamine. So nothing is a substitute for that! These must be taken in conjunction with mesalamine.

|Drug|Dosage|Study|Quality of Evidence|
|--|--|--|--|
|Prednisone |40-60 mg/daily, then taper|Many|Excellent
|Lialda (mesalamine) |2.4 g/daily|Many|Excellent
|Apriso (mesalamine) |1.5 g/day|Many|Excellent
|Mesalamine Enema |Nightly|Many|Excellent
|Visbiome (was called VSL#3)|225 billion CFU/day|Meta-analysis|Good
|Nicotine Patch|14 mg/day|Meta-analysis; Placebo-controlled|Good
|DHA/EPA (also sold as “fish oil”; this one is vegetarian because I am)|1080 g DHA+540 mg EPA/day|Meta-analysis|Good
|Wheat grass tablets|21 tablets/day|Placebo-controlled|Good; small study
|Sunflower lecithin|10 g/day|Meta-analysis|Good to moderate
|Curcumin (from tumeric)|2.6 g/day|Meta-analysis|Moderate
|EGCg|400 mg/day|Rat study|Good in rats; poor in humans; WARNING: Dosages over 338 mg/day cause liver toxicity
|Bupropion immediate release |100 mg three times/day|Rat study; TNFα only|Poor; only shown to lower TNFα; no studies on its effect on UC; study done in rats
|Rutin|1.8 g/day|Rat study|Poor

indicates a prescription drug. Mesalamine and prednisone are commonly prescribed for ulcerative colitis. Bupropion is normally prescribed as an antidepressant so your gastroenterologist may be reluctant to prescribe it for this, especially since there are no studies of its effect on ulcerative colitis in humans.

u/Butterbean6 · 2 pointsr/sex

I got this stuff. 1200mg/day. I've always had a pretty respectable volume, but this gave me another ~50%. Results within a week for me.

Edit: One negative side effect is that I definitely NEED to ejaculate no less than every 2 days or it starts to get a little uncomfortable.

They will not taste like rice crispy treats you know and love but will probably work. The butter has salt and milk fat basically in it that gives it the flavor. I like to put my avb in an open mason jar with coconut oil in a crockpot on low for a couple hours, freeze and repeat, though probably not necessary. I also use soy lethicin, which I didn't think would make a difference, but totally does. [Link for lethicin powder] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074PW33NZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) And then when I want some I take 2-3 teaspoon wait an hour or 2 and redose if I want more. But I just eat it straight up and wash it down with water. It used to be a struggle to eat avb but I think the lethicin really helps.

I get coconut cream and cook it in seasonings garlic, pepper, onion, maybe some nutritional yeast flakes, and it tastes like cheese sauce, put it on errything.

To mix coconut oil into drinks like coffee emulsifiers are your friend. I recommend lecithin powder or flakes, it has some supposed health benefits on its own supposedly. Coconut cream usually has guar gum in it added, which is another emulsifier.

I'm starting out as well.

From what I read in the FAQs, this is what I have found:

  • ~1600mg of Piracetam
  • ~ Lecithin 2 pills
  • I occasionally also do Nature's Bounty Fish Oil as well

Why Lecithin instead of Choline? Mainly because it has other components instead of just Choline, that has a synergistic effect with Choline.

What I have observed so far:

I do notice a difference in mental clarity, there are moments where everything becomes very clear. I've also noticed that I have occasionally been having very vivid dreams. However, I have only been on it for a few days and still understanding its effects.

Additionally, I have heard that Aniracetam is a much more potent alternative to Piracetam, but I will do some more testing with Piracetam before I shift gears.

Edit: Please watch out for the headaches, I've noticed that it happens when I don't have move around too much. Just do a little bit of exercise to get the blood flowing and an Advil helps.

I used the Now brand from Amazon, but there are lots of brands.

NOW Supplements, Sunflower Lecithin 1200 mg with Phosphatidyl Choline, 200 Softgels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BHZ71G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HBJnDbDJX511X

If you do get lecithin get the granules. I do not recommend though. If you are able to get an emulsion without it why complicate things. Lecithin is a good source of choline, but of your keto that should not be an issue. I only ever used it to make cannabis infused butter before. It will make the oil bubbles very small. This is a good one if you want to give it a try. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00014FCRQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1509764557&sr=8-4&keywords=lecithin+granules&dpPl=1&dpID=513lj3rcqHL&ref=plSrch

This is going to sound weird, I know, but the two most important things I honestly need right now are these two supplements:

-

Fenugreek, and

-

Sunflower Lecithin

-

Right now, these two supplements are the only reason I’m producing enough for my newborn. I have been out of my Fenugreek for a week now and I have had to use supplementing formula along with what scant amount of breastmilk I’ve been producing. The Sunflower Lecithin helps with my supply and prevents clogged ducts. I get chronic clogged ducts and have had double mastitis twice before using these.

-

Please and thank you.

I had many clogged ducts for the first few months until a lactation consultant recommended lecithin supplement pills. It was seriously magical and I plan on taking them from day 1 with this next baby!

I've read that liquid lecithin is a mess - although I've never used it. I use dried soy lecithin in my Magic Butter Machine for cannaoil.

I know you are making edibles - but any reason you can't directly microdose the RSO? I've read that it is supposed to be already decarbed but I haven't tried it myself

From time to time but I experiment on my own a lot. I have even infused home made bread.

Always use the secret ingredient when infusing oils for that extra punch.

u/actualsysadmin · 1 pointr/soylent

I could be retarded, but that original recipe you linked for the cheaper variant is basically wheat protein and oat flower. Not Soy protein. Soy protein probably costs considerably more.

Sorry, I didn't look at the original ingredients.

The recipe you posted is basically whey protein without milk base. Just regular protein powder. Can't call it soylent without soy. That name is horribly misleading.

Do I add the lecithin in powdered form? I purchased the this, and how much corn syrup should I add? would that be a good sugar/starch?

I used liquid...

$15 for coconut oil? Dang, I get store brand or Luannes/louanns for like $3-4 a jar and sunflower lecithin from a health food store for around $5-6 a jar!

Gallon of coconut oil in Amazon $18
Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil, Refined, 1 Gallon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01766NTU8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_PA7LzbY06GGQK

NOW Sunflower Liquid Lecithin, 16-Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LB30WTI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_VJ7Lzb5G20WB0

You can find cheaper coconut oil just remember that's literally a gallon!

I took 3600mg/day (I got the NOW Sunflower Lecithin and it's 1200mg/cap so I took three of them a day) until the clogs stopped showing up... maybe 4-6 weeks. After that, I took a maintenance dose of 1 a day and would up it to 3/day if I felt the lump come back.

I don't know if it matters. I just have a $4 bottle of Now soy lecithin (100) but some people say sunflower like this is better ($11 for 200)

u/naturetel · 1 pointr/treedibles

What soy lecithin do you use OH? I know you're one of the best cooks around so I thought I would ask you, would this be fine?

No, they’re pretty basic:
