These are real. And you can recharge them by USB
> Rather than using the spark/fuel method that most lighters employ, the Tesla lighter uses electromagnetic induction to power its electric arc. That means when you shake the lighter, the agitation of an internal magnet produces an electromotive force. That force is carried across a conductor, and in this case, is what powers the electric arc.
These are commonly called arc lighters or Tesla lighters. And you can get them here
It's a jet lighter - this kind of thing
Just get one of these. It's way less complicated and definitely cheaper
Long roach clip made of stainless steel
Cigar lighter to light those j's and b's on windy days
Glass jar to keep smell down
So there are a lot more vapcap owners after 420 sales. My first couple weeks with the vapcap sucked because my lighters sucked. I want you to have a better experience! One of my biggest issues with the vapcap when i first got it was all the shitty failing lighters, i must have tried close to 10 different ones before i found some that i liked..err found some that didn't shit the bed on me.
Scorch Torch Skyline Triple Jet
Single flame Big eagle torch
Single flame Small eagle torch
Remember to purchase good butane too! Colibri has been serving me well. I like vector as well but i buy that at my local smoke shop. A lot cheaper there.
Get a cigarette roller, braj
Gotta get one of these kinds of lighters.
Ok, $170... here is how I would break it down for a first-timer:
2019 Dynavap M ... $60 direct
Grindhouse Shift ... $60 new on eBay
Fury2 WPA ... $13 shipped with PUFFEDUP code at PIU
This torch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CYW8FZ5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 :$20
Enough quality Butane to last a looong time: https://www.amazon.com/Colibri-Premium-Butane-Refill-Lighter/dp/B005ME902S/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=butane&qid=1555346654&s=hpc&sr=1-5 ... $12
Then you can get a cup of coffee with your leftover $5.
Later down the road if you can scrounge up another $30, make a cheap induction heater for the Dynavap. It's easy and they're awesome. Ask me for simple instructions if you want.
You can buy a lot of Bic lighters for the cost of one electric lighter.
Ask your friend if they can hook you up with the person they buy from. The quantities you can buy from smallest to largest: 1/8th, 1/4th, 1/2, 1 ounce. Some dealers will sell by the gram, too, but I haven't bought from anybody who deals in amounts that small in a long time. In a lot of cases your friend will end up becoming your middle man because a lot of dealers only like to do business with people they know they can trust. I've been smoking regularly for about 4 years now and I've only ever dealt with one dealer directly because he was dating my friend.
If you still live with your parents a pipe will probably be the easiest vessel to smoke out of. They are easy to conceal, but more effective than joints or blunts. Hit up any local smoke shop or head shop, but there is a little bit of etiquette required at these places. Never refer to what you're buying as a bowl or a bong (if that's what you're going for). Call it a pipe or a water pipe and do not mention marijuana at all. They know what it's for, but they won't say it either. I have seen kids get kicked out of headshops on the spot for making this mistake. If it is a legit shop they can't sell to you if you give them the impression that you are going to use their items for illegal things. Law enforcement routinely tests these places to make sure they aren't violating any laws.
Learning how to roll is a great skill, but not everybody is good at it. I personally suck at rolling so I bought a cigarette roller and it gets the job done.
Alec Bradley The Burner

This is the way I dab... (I love this lady's channel :))

I use a 12" beaker from TAG https://www.thickassglass.com/ ... I got mine in a subscription box for $60...
I use this quartz banger (without the insert) https://www.dhgate.com/product/25mm-xl-flat-top-quartz-banger-phat-bottom/404808110.html
And I use this torch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0713WT2N9/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this butane https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ME902S/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's my advice since I literally just started a few weeks ago. This is exactly what I wished I knew before I spent money on random cigars from various sites.
Hopefully this helps.
Edit: Many edits to fix errors and add additional info.
I use a pretty cheap tri flame butane torch lighter I found on Amazon. Works really well regardless of weather.
Vertigo by Lotus Cyclone Triple Torch Cigar Lighter Charcoal 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LJVW0FW?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Edit: lol I think this might be exactly what you have.

From left to right...
1 - Nibo Deluxe Butane Torch Refillable Lighter Adjustable Flame and Safety Lock - Bought this one off of eBay, works well but the flame isn't very big even on the highest setting amd you can't see how much butane is left in it.
2 - Jobon ZB 673 Torch - This one came with my Lotus Vaporizer, it seems to have a bigger butane tank in it although again you can't see it. This one also has a really big flame if you want it, but can also be adjusted down to a small flame. The clicker that makes the spark stopped working about after 1 month and was replaced with nothing more than an email. Great customer service from Lotus, these torches are warrantied for 90 days if purchased from them.
3 - Honest dual mode torch lighter - Bought this one off amazon, has the ability to act as a normal butane lighter (like a bic) or a torch. This one has a small butane tank so may not be ideal for people who take their vapcaps with them on the go, but very reliable so far.
4 - Honest Butane Torch Lighter - Bought this one from VapeNorth (Sneaky Pete's Canadian site). This one works very well, has a thinner flame than most of my other torches. This one is sort of a precision torch because of the thinner flame, very easy to aim it exactly where you want it and of course the see through butane tank.
5 - Jobon High Capacity Triple Jet Torch Gas Lighter - Bought this one from eBay as well. It works very well but to be honest I haven't used it much because I prefer a single flame. I picked it up in case I ever wanted to vape outside where there is potential for wind.
Order some online. If you buy in bulk you can get a great deal. Like a dollar a lighter. Here: http://www.amazon.com/BIC-Classic-Lighter-50ct-Regular/dp/B001AJ6BDK/ref=sr_1_1/177-9606759-7036534?ie=UTF8&qid=1412522320&sr=8-1&keywords=bic+lighter+wholesale
I had the same problem until I discovered this. I know I know...I'm a disgrace to the joint rolling world...but seriously, works like a charm and you end up having perfectly rolled joints to enjoy! And for under $5, you can't beat it.
Xi2 cutter, MTX Multi-Tool, and 9mm punch, all by Xikar. They’d be worth the price even without the warranty, but with it, it’s a steal. Not actually crazy about any of my lighters, though I do really like this Alec Bradley tabletop.
I am going to put in a vote for a Sticky Brick. I own and love both devices, and the reason I'm going for the Brick is because the way it's used is more reminiscent of smoking. It feels like you're smoking out of a bowl.
Also, when it comes to "Fast and hard hitting", both devices are exactly that, but the Brick can vape faster and hit harder, relatively speaking.
Lastly, if at any point the sesh has more than one person, the Brick is, in my opinion, the only option. Vapcaps are a very personal experience, due to bowl size.
My torch recommendation is this: Eagle Torch
It is Prime eligible as well. I hope you find a vape that prevents your mother from smoking.
Edit: Forgot to recommend some butane: Colibri This is also Prime eligible.
I use my Every Day Carry items....every day....which is why I carry those items, every day.
Used my Fenix UC35 last night during our snow storm to keep an eye on the dogs, and to explore the dark winter wilderness a little bit. I also daily a warm knit hat and gloves for the season...which are also useful in the snow, for obvious reasons. Cut a very long loose string off my coat lastnight as well with the blade I've been carrying around for almost a decade now, my Sypderco Endura 4. My smaller Streamlight Stylus Pro wasn't needed, but was there if for some reason I developed a use for it.
Just recently got a Leatherman Squirt PS4 which I carry in the little coin pocket of my jeans. It's scissors are very handy in replacement of my older Victorinox Classic which works great for the tweezers and toothpick, but it's scissors have had it. Anyway, I used the Leatherman to file down a couple finger nails I tore up lifting a CVT onto a cart two days ago. The single cut file was good enough to keep the jagged edges of my nails from snagging my gloves, so it's alright in my book.
Frequently use my lighter, a Ronson Jetlite to flip around as a fiddle item or to light periodic items asunder, or to bond them to each other (in the case of paracord).
Cool video! I thought you moved through at a good pace.
You could replace the rubber with cotton balls dipped into petroleum jelly and then wrapped in tin foil. They're like little candles.
Zippo makes a refillable butane insert if that's what you're looking for in terms of a lighter?
Vertigo by Lotus Cyclone Triple Torch Cigar Lighter Charcoal 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LJVW0FW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hGg2DbMDNSQT3
Honestly it might still just be the torch. I have the cheap single flame that came with the brick and it just doesn't work with the brick for me (I use it with the vapcap and lighting tealights pretty often though). A stronger single flame like the zico t38 I think it's called have worked much better for me. I love the brick but do really dislike how much performance differs based on torch
I'm still trying to find the perfect torch but here is a link to the one I mentioned Zico T-38 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MH48Y5A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zyfcAbW4SKMJZ
The true hero for the Sticky Brick: Zico T 38
The larger Eagle torches are a solid choice. Large tanks last a long time and require little flame adjustment. Purge before refill and use quality butane.
The smaller angle eagle torches are nice for stashes. Reliable but small for daily use when you could use the larger model.
Regarding torches spending 20+ for torches isn't necessary i grabbed one of these at a corner store, its been going strong for 6 months.
I work in the tech industry, but I'm not comfortable going too much further than that.
EDC (on my person):
Thingies on keychain:
But wait, there's more! Bonus Closeup Images
These are an option. No experience with them but I have read they work well. Probably different brands out there to check, this was the first one I came across.
Generally speaking it’s not a good idea to use a zippo to light a cigar. The fuel can affect the taste of the cigar. If you prefer the zippo you can get an insert from amazon or other sources that converts your zippo into a butane torch.
500mg? You're going to have a very, very bad time. That's 50 times what you should be taking.
Assuming proper technique(which I will explain shortly), 10mg will give you a good first trip. That's right, just the smallest pinprick of the stuff.
As you can see from this chart, 500mg is recommended for beginners assuming you're smoking PURE LEAF.
You're smoking a very strong extract fourty times as potent as pure leaf, which is actually unnecessarily strong, but they sell it anyways because god knows why.
So the math is easy. 500mg / 40x = 12mg.
12mg is the dose to get a common trip for the stuff you're taking.
If you want to just go balls deep on your first toke, which I don't recommend, then smoke 20mg. That's the deepest I've ever gone, and it's left me emotionally and mentally changed for life. I hope you know that you're not smoking weed here. You're not even smoking DMT. DMT can be kinder than salvia. Salvia is the "beats you up in a back alley with a bat" of all drugs. It's quick, unexpected, and brutal... but sometimes it's just what you deserve(and need) at that moment in your life.
I mentioned proper technique. You're going to want to use a propane lighter, for one. Propane lighters generate enough heat to reach the vaporization point of salvia. Regular old gas station cig lighters won't do, and you'll end up with an unpredictable trip that could be far too weak or far too strong depending on how much of the Salvinorin the lighter is able to vaporize.
I can recommend this bad baby: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EP2NB6E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I smoked my salvia with her, and always got a predictable trip. You'll of course need to buy propane cartridges to fill it up.
The other, and possibly most important part of technique is to hold the smoke in for as long as possible. I'm saying at least 20 seconds. If you don't do this, you won't feel the trip. Every second the smoke is held in will be another step further into la-la-land. You'll be able to feel the salvinorin enter your bloodstream and warp your perception as you hold in the breath longer and longer, and it'll be interesting, to say the least.
That's it. If you follow everything here, you'll have a safe trip that doesn't burn through your entire gram in one day on a horrible nightmare trip.
I wish you safe voyage, cosmonaut.
Scorch Torch Skyline is a cheap lighter that's done the trick for me for the last four months or so. No issues, butane window, punch cut tool, and a mirrored lid inside that you can check your burn in (maybe no one else needs to do this...). Amazon price, $12;
Puffitup.com is a reliable vendor - their packaging is discreet (return label is something like six5, not puffitup)
One of the best pound for pound vapes on the market right now is the vapcap M, made by dynavap. It is the vaporizer equivalent of a one hitter, and it costs $50. www.dynavap.com
You’ll need a butane lighter - dynavap sells them. Any butane torch will do, i like this one from
I’ve owned over a dozen vapes of all price ranges. As I type this, I am using my vapcap m instead of far more pricey vapes. It’s just easy, convenient, and great for taking one hit at a time.
Don’t trust shitty Chinese rebrands - whatever you decide to purchase, search it in the sidebar on this sub first. Also pm me or really anyone. We just want to help folks medicate safety and efficiently :)
Work great, are refillable and if you lose one, it’s no big deal
The vertigos. 2 for $17 on Amazon. Good price point and very dependable. Had mine for over 2 years now. The only downside I found is that sometimes the little screw on some of them comes loose between the top and the tank. Easy to tighten back up with a small screwdriver like one that comes in those eye glass repair kits.
Did you know Amazon will donate a portion of every purchase if you shop by going to smile.amazon.com instead? Over $50,000,000 has been raised for charity - all you need to do is change the URL!

Another possibility is this. I got them for my dad and my brother last year (their birthdays are a couple weeks apart). It's an electric coil lighter made by Tesla. Basically, it's a lighter that uses electricity rather than fire. It's kind of cool because it's new technology, but it's also useful because you can use it in the wind and rain and it doesn't affect anything.
Never care about losing another BIC lighter again.
buy yourself one of those...perfect J's everytime
It's partially the non uniformity but also it's because there aren't the fillers that normally cigarette add to give better burning properties. You'll never be able to replicate a cigarette with weed because they burn at very different rates
The way to fix it is get one of these. https://www.amazon.com/Zig-Zag-Roller-Perfect-Cigarettes/dp/B001GPJY64.
Basically you want all the material to be uniformly compressed a lot bit.
You can prolly find them around town. Look for a 'smokers choice', or any tobacco shop. A head shop might have them too. They are considered a legitimate smoke accessory, they might be behind the counter at Rite-aid/Walgreens.
Not bad, looks a bit 'bumpy' though..
Did you break it down more than what you have left in your hand there?
Also, if you're going to use the 'dollar trick', might as well get you a cigarette roller, roll perfect joints every time and fast.
Takes away from the 'hand rolling' I guess, but it's quite efficient. I usually only use mine for actually rolling cigs, don't smoke many joints any more really.
I just ordered this. If it works half as well as it looks I'll be happy. It can be had from Cigarbid for about half the price.
Butane burns into Carbon dioxide and water vapor. Nothing to worry about, as long as you get good stuff. Here's what I've been using, and here's a list.
Yep - more impurities = poor performance. Go for the better stuff. I use Colibri butane, myself - no issues.
Get a Ronson Jetlite! I'm deeply in love with mine. Cheap, hardy, effective.
Cheap single butane lighter.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006G1KVQ0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1498943452&sr=8-1&keywords=ronson+lighter had mine for months now and even with cheap fuel no issues. Can find them local probably for $6
i hope i don't do something against the rules by sending a link
Google peanut lighters.
Uses lighter fluid, doesn't leak and doesn't let fluid evaporate.
Maratac brand seems to have the most varieties, made with different material from stainless steel, copper, aluminum, brass and different sizes, They look more well made than most chinese-copies and are within your budget.
You can find a really cheap one on Ebay, chinese-made, chrome-plated. They work just fine but the finishing will wear off if you carry it in your pocket.
I have one of these
Seems to the cheapest on Amazon too, this one about 1.8 inches tall.
The finishing is similar to zippo's black ice finishing, but mine has wore off already.
This one here
I think this one is new, looks promising.
Sucks you are having a bad time with your sister's bf. Does she know hes acting like this while shes gone?
I believe this really cool item should be under $5
gifting is fun
= $19.80 :)
Agreed! I kinda have a zippo collecting addition now haha.
I highly recommend the z plus 2.0 insert insert they have a clear flue cell and really reliable compared to other i tired
I have the Zplus 2.0 Extreme and I'm really happy with it https://amazon.com/dp/B00ADTCJDY
Ive had pretty good luck with this triple. Can usually get a year outta them
For singe flame the eagle jumbos are always a great value and i typically lose them before they break. Mine all came full of butane.
Here ya go man
They're butane lighters, they're gonna die, you're gonna have to replace them pretty regularly.
more reliable, yet large style
Most people like the triple and quad torch lighters that Dynavap sells. I would steer clear of their Zippo-insert double-flame, as it has a tiny fuel tank and is annoying to refill.
I grabbed some of [these] (https://www.amazon.com/Single-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable-Cigarette/dp/B00GA80NJO/ref=sr_1_6_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1520709327&sr=8-6&keywords=torch+lighter) and they work really well as long as it's the weather isn't too bad. They don't do too well in cold, windy conditions.
Outdoors I use triple flame, indoors I use this single flame. The triple heats up the cap faster and stronger against the wind. However, I much prefer the vapcap indoors and with the single torch.
It’s obviously not the highest end torch, but bought this 2 pack a few months ago and they have been very solid. Refilled each of them a few times already without issue.
Vertigo Triple Flame
I have had these single flame lighters for 2 years and recently tried out these triple flame torches because I wanted to heat in a hurry. The single flame allows for more temperature control but the triple flame is more wind resistant and heats faster. I like both but now use my homemade induction heater the most.
These fuckers are bulletproof. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve dropped mine, and it still works like the day I got it.
Vertigo Triple Torch, the last lighter you'll ever need.
I've tried several, and my favorite is Vertigo Cyclone:
Unlike most on Amazon, reviewers don't seem to have a problem with it suddenly pooping out. You can see the butane level. And three torches means quick heating.
Here's what I carry from your list:
Knife/multitool: Leatherman Skeletool - I use this so much for so many things it's ridiculous. They're as cheap as $20-$30 at Home Depot sometimes, but the average price is around $40-$45. Pliers, locking knife that's half-serrated, a bottle opener, and a reversible screwdriver bit. Add this bit kit for $5 to replace the bit with a single bit with both philips and flathead in one. (For some reason, the Skeletool ships with two bits that are just small/large flathead and small/large philips, necessitating changing the bit entirely to swap between types.)
Flashlight: I carry a Nitecore Mh12, but for your price point a Thrunite TC12, which I also own. It's based on the 18650 battery which has 4 times the capacity of an AA battery. Because this light is rechargeable via USB, you don't need a standalone charger to go with it. It's waterproof to 2 meters, shockproof to 1.5 meters, and has brightness settings ranging from 0.4 lumens (see where you're going in a dark house without waking an SO) to over 1,000 lumens, almost as bright as high-beams on a car. Yes, really. At it's lowest setting, it'll last almost 80 days. Yes, really. $69 on Amazon. Make sure you get the neutral white version (TC12 NW) as it's easier on the eyes and gives more accurate color. I've linked directly to it, bundled with about the highest-capacity battery you can get for it.
If you want to be a rockstar you could get her a 4-pack of batteries for another $50. And if she still needs to buy extra batteries, it will accept 2 CR123 batteries (not as common as AA, but still relatively common) instead, albeit with lower overall life than a single 18650 cell. Note: there are a lot of crappy, knock-off 18650 batteries out there that are not only unreliable, but also lie about their capacity and have been known to cause fires. The KeepPower batteries are great, reliable, high-capacity, and about as cheap as you'll find reliable cells for on Amazon.
Lighter: Apologies; I don't carry a lighter at the moment as I so rarely need one. /u/osufan19's suggestion of a Tesla Coil Lighter seems like a good one, though, and now has me thinking of adding it to my EDC for the coolness factor alone. $20 on Amazon, and here's a GIF of it in action. (Note: the waviness is someone blowing on it, I think.)
Keychain/holder: I like the KeySmart. However, some keys in India aren't standard sizes (depends on where she'll be), so bear that in mind. I've got the can opener and measurer on mine, but have yet to use either. I did, however, need extensions to add more keys. This will run you $19 on Amazon, but I'd recommend ordering that directly from KeySmart as they'll include the loop for attaching a car fob or nonstandard keys for free $5 more on Amazon), and other accessories are cheaper direct. I'd also recommend the extended version rather than the standard length, as longer keys (like a car key) fit better. Going direct, the total for an extended KeySmart with the loop, extensions for 2-14 kes (as opposed tio 2-8) and shipping will be $24.95.
Small bag/holder: I carry everything in my pockets, and it fits nicely/doesn't print. This may not work well for a woman, however, depending on her wardrobe. I wear jeans, and my pockets actually have room.
Total cost: For the knife, bits, and light (minus the extra batteries), you're looking at $131.63 at Amazon. Add the Keysmart and you're at $156.58, which is only slightly above your budget. The lighter adds another $20. It does not include the bag, however, so bear that in mind.
Look for a Tesla Lighter, my brother has this style one but with a shiny black pantjob...they are awesome...so many slo-mo videos have been made lol
Sorry I'm on mobile.
I've got one of these Tesla Lighters. Depends on what you're lighting, though. Good for cigarettes, but you're limited in ho large something can be by the distance between electrodes. I've heard of some that have a wider arc, but can't attest to their quality. I've had my Tesla for 5 years, and while it's not an EDC for me (I carry a vintage Zippo my dad gave me), it's still working and can charge off any standard Micro USB cable.
I keep reccomending these becuase they are really awesome and practical. Electronic Lighters They are so better then any gas lighters and are really cool!
Looks like it's actually $21. Here's the one I have.
And with a $17 arc lighter you're still under $50. I've got the Tesla coil but it's just a single arc, so you might want to check out the dual arc types. I don't have any experience with those though
There's a wide selection on Amazon. I got a cheap one for 20$. Here's what I got http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B016P8A1K4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?qid=1464042634&sr=8-1&keywords=tesla+lighter&pi=SY200_QL40
I've been using these and they're doing great so far. They are larger than I anticipated. Not as mobile as I'd like.
I'm assuming you've been working with something more like this?
Edit: I think it was u/Doobitron that suggested the Eagles I bought, so, shout out to him.
GOLDNCONN Jet Torch Cigar Lighter Strong Flame Windproof Butane Fuel Cigarette Lighter (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0793JWH4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D9vXDbRE9BSW5
Blazer little buddy 2 is pretty awesome. Nice thin flame that really throws like a mini jet engine. Expensive tho, but works perfectly.
I also have an Honest lighter I got off Amazon, it has a toggle switch for regular flame and torch, but I superglued that to the torch setting. Haha. This one works excellent too and takes garbage fuel like a champ. This is a great lighter for the price.
If I know I am going to be in a survival situation?
Phone + Battery, 50 Flares, vehicle with a full tank of gas would be my top 3.
More serious you say? Just limiting myself to ordering online, mostly amazon -
Given a more specific survival situation, a budget, weight limit or other constraints, I may adjust my list accordingly.
or one of these
Just buy this and never worry about it again. Rolls perfect every single time.
Or head to your local C-store spend less than 5 dollars on a cigarette roller.
Perfect joint everytime.
Zig zag brand:http://www.amazon.com/Zig-Zag-Roller-Perfect-Cigarettes/dp/B001GPJY64
you can get these at a lot of convenience stores.
Spent a while learning to roll, then I discovered...
Mine's: http://www.amazon.com/Zig-Zag-Roller-Perfect-Cigarettes/dp/B001GPJY64/ref=wl_it_dp_v_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2HEP1PXR8784V&coliid=I1NI50GBFKV0BV ($3.89)
Which I don't need, but I'm lazy.
Apparently it's a 'health and personal care' item?
Close second is a used copy of Eyeless in Gaza ($4.65)
This helps me out alot
Not everyone can just roll blunts or joints. Pretty much a make shift Zig Zag roller like these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001GPJY64/ref=mp_s_a_1_1/186-8741664-1654669?qid=1404703272&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40
I'd dig throught the cushions of your couch and see if you can rustle up $7 more and get an ALEC BRADLEY BURNER I love mine, totally worth the purchase
It's an Alec Bradley "The Burner" table lighter. Amazing product I love it.
I love my Alec Bradley "The Burner". It holds a lot of butane and has a big soft flame. You have to be real careful with touch ups though. :)
EDIT: Doh I just saw you said you were going to buy a burner anyway... Well just make sure you purge all the gas and air out of it before you refill. I've heard of these things breaking it that purge isn't done properly.
It's not exactly pocket-friendly but if you're looking for a very soft flame experience you should check out the Alec Bradley "Burner" tabletop lighter.
Although technically one flame as it has only one primary fuel line, the way the dispersion screen on top works it's more like two dozen little flames all converging into one. Very soft, very diffuse. It's definitely on my Christmas list.
Buy 4, because if you break or lose one you have quite a wait lol
Alternatively, I've not tried it but this looks sweet af and apparently the tank is huge, though if money is the problem it won't help.
Alec Bradley The Burner table lighter.
Basically a bunsen burner but you can actually set the flame really low and get a nice toast going. Huge full tank so you don't have to refill often.
This lasts me about 5 or 6 months depending on my use.
Dynavap sells a few torches, like this one It has 3 flames. Many people prefer a torch with only a single flame, like these They tend to be more reliable,
and can provide bigger hits due to higher bowl temperatures.
As for fuel (the butane itself), higher quality fuel is recommended as it leaves no taste and won't clog up your lighters.
One can will refill a lighter about 20 times, depending on how big the lighter is. I've found that a full lighter last me days of heavy usage.
How to refill
I think it would last way longer than three weeks. The rubber O ring seems pretty good and if i keep it tight and fill the lighter as much as it will take then i wouldn't be surprised if thing would last indefinably.
Here is the one i've got.
Sure! There are a ton of great keychain accessories out there but the criteria for mine are all items must:
1: Be < 2" (Preferably 1.5")
2: Fit in my pockets comfortably (jeans)
3: Be used at least once every 3 months
(Ambu Pouch excluded)
Accessories used Most - Least
The Freekey Sytem is the foundation of the keyring and is one of those products that is so elegant in its simplicity and functionality that it seems like it should have been invented years ago.
The SOG Straight Edge Key Knife comes sharp and has held an edge pretty well over the last few months. With its tiny blade it's not going to replace your Ka-Bar anytime soon but I can almost garuntee that you will use it more frequently.
The Swiss+ Tech 6 in 1 Utility Key coupled with The Infora Key Multitool seems to be gaining ground to overtake the SOG Key Knife as top tool in the line up with flat and Phillips screwdriver heads, bottle opener, and serrated blade.
The Streamlight Nano LED Flashlight is an awesome addition to the gang and probobly the one that has saved my ass the most, there are too many times I've wasted time looking for a light source in the dark.
The 2.0 64 GB Kingston Data Traveler SE9 USB drive. Reasonable speed coupled with great durability. The cast in keyhole eliminates the possibilty of losing the USB from a weak tether and defiantly holds a perminent place in my top 5 keychain accesories. Along with its basic utility I keep a file named "If Found: Reward" on it with my information in case I lose my key ring.
The True Utility TelePen telescoping keychain pen is one of those items that doesent get the everyday recognition the others do but is totally fucking clutch when you do need it. I owe a couple side projects I've picked up to this pen, partly because of the writing aspect but more from it as a talking piece.
The InCharge Ultra Portable Charging Cable is a cool little accessory that I thought would get the boot initially but saved my ass when I was in transit and my buddy only had an Apple cable with his charger.
The True Utility FireStash Keyring Lighter is the only item on the list that I haven't actually "needed" but will probobly keep anyway because fire is such a basic necessity and if I ever DO need it I'm probobly going to name my kids True and Utility.
The Ambu Res-Cue keychain CPR mask rounds out the list but might be the most important. Along with it being being a valuable lifesaving/self protection asset it's also super useful for locating my keys. I once read something about humans being able to see more shades of red than any other color and that our minds are geared to "ook out for it. Whether that's true or not it's always the first thing I see when I misplace them and because of its shape it stops my keys from going between the seats.
I didn't have a ton of time to type this up because I'm on my phone at work but I hope this helps!
I see! It’s similar, but has a condenser inside to help keep it clean and cool the vapor a bit. I use two lighters:
This zippo insert because I’m a nerd for them, and it’s portable. Z-Plus 2.0 Extreme Torch Flame Lighter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ADTCJDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CqTADb6QT1SBZ
It looks like they have a similar thing that comes with a case on the DynaVap website, I have not personally used this one, though.
The other I have was a free gift when I ordered my DynaVap, and I don’t see it anywhere, now. But it is a quad flame (or, mini flamethrower). Better for at home use and heats the dyna quicker.
My recommendation is a dual flame. Easier to learn with!
I usually tour Amazon Canada. They have a decent selection of torch lighters.
Here is the link to a 3rd party zippo torch insert. Zippo actually makes a 1st party one now but not in Canada.
Zippo Torch Insert
Cool, I was trying to experiment and find that out. Thanks for letting us know :D! I ended up getting a torch for $8 on Amazon, it's so much quicker.
Torches arw always a tough decision, different torches for different uses for different effects. Double Torches are the sweet spot for me. Decent heat up time and fuel consumption is adequate. The one thing to remember is to bleed them before each fill to let the air out to get optimal results for lighting up on the first try.
I have this model and i love it:
Scorch Torch Tactical Ergonomic Angle Double Jet Flame Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter w/Keychain and Strap (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G9GWANE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2f32Bb5RJGEWM
I want to get this one next cause it looks really cool :
Scorch Torch Matterhorn Double Jet Flame Butane Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JSCV8MA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Ll32BbKW7MQH9
Hope this helps bro.
I use a scorch torch that works fantastically for the price.
And I'd use cigar bid to fill the humidor, but Small Batch and a couple others are my go to for nice sticks.
Any torch lighter will work. They sell some on the dynavap website. I bought mine at a gas station. You can definitely find 1 at a cigar shop or online.
A single flame torch allows you to get the heat deeper and makes the hits more customizable(differences in where you heat the cap).
I am using something like THIS
Something like this is probably what they mean. I just picked up a couple cheapo torches from a smoke shop near work. Definitely could have saved a couple bucks going through Amazon, but I wanted something that day.
edit: FWIW I have 2 Zico torches, each was about $15, they work better than any of the Honest/Eagle/other cheap plastic torches I've had(which hasn't been that many, but the Zicos have been solid).
Get the zippo insert. Thats my fave cigar lighter! https://www.amazon.com/Z-Plus-Torch-Flame-Lighter-Insert/dp/B00JXF7KW4
I wouldn't say most people, because you have to buy them separate from the Zippo lighter. Just people who don't feel like filling it up about once a week. I've heard great things about the inserts though. This is a popular one.
You can buy the insert that goes in it for under 10 bucks on amazon
try lighters direct, they ship worldwide....
or amazon option 1, option 2
I enjoy mine very much. http://www.amazon.com/Z-Plus-Torch-Flame-Lighter-Insert/dp/B00JXF7KW4
But let's be honest, I also have a Bic in my pocket, car, jacket, table and so on.
I just bought one of these butane inserts. There shouldn't be an issue with this evaporating since butane lighters are air tight.
> Saw it on Hamilton’s pharmacopeia.
The green one? Indeed.
I have the same exact setup as you (except with a Vertigo lighter), but mostly use it for 5-MeO-DMT.
I should've mentioned I bought the starter kit myself, and while I'm happy with it, I could have done without some of the extra bits since their parts are built to last anyway. My kit came with a triple burner torch (Amazon has a two pack for $17)that I like as well. Gets the cap to a vape temperature a bit faster, but does not perform as well as a single burner if you want to maximize your hits. Dynavap has a good video explaining the difference.
Sneaky Pete also made a good video with some heating tips.
If you decide to get one, enjoy! They are really fun devices and are pretty cheap to boot.
use these! solid and fairly cheap for two of them, I use them all the time with my m and they work a dream
I like buying refillable lighters because bics have way too much plastic. I've got one of these guys with a bit of hemp wick wrapped around it, secured by a hair tie. Giant fluid reservoir and it's handy for melting the ends of rope and stuff.
ETA: My lighter rig
I, like you, had a cheap single-flame torch when i first got my Dynavap. I hated how long it took for me to hear it up as well, especially in windy or cold areas. I found these triple flame torches with great reviews on amazon and decided to order them. They come two to a pack at around $15 for the pack. So far, they’re very reliable, but I’m not too worried about that since they come with a lifetime warranty. and heat up my M much, much faster than my original single flame lighter.
amazon has a 2 pack of them for 17, but i swear it was 12 yesterday
I haven’t ordered any dual torches from Amazon, but I’ve had a good experience with this Vertigo triple torch.
I found an amazon zico (arc turboflame replica) of the type that's apparently all the rage for use with the GVG after what I found on other sites and what the other commenters suggested :)
Zico T-38 is comfortable, and durable single flame torch. It’s the go-to for my Vapcaps.
The zico t38 is $10. Works reliably, easy to adjust flame size and refill.
thanks, makes sense
would you use single flame for both a sticky brick and dynavap vapcap?
any torch suggestions? I'm looking at these
You can get this one on amazon for like $20. Not an X but still the same thing. I've got one.
Check out Tesla coil lighters!
Cheaper models on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Tesla-Coil-Lighters%E2%84%A2-Rechargeable-Windproof/dp/B016P8A1K4/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1473349710&sr=8-3&keywords=arc+lighter
Buy the cheapest, disposable lighter set you can find. My tip.
I feel like a lighter is such an easily lost (or stolen) thing that buying something expensive isn't worth the money.
If you still want something efficient, then check these out:
Tesla Coil Lighters. Also great conversation starters.
If you want something with a flame, I'd recommend torch lighters - windproof, quick and even stylish in some cases.
Wrap the fuse with nichrome wire and connect it across a lithium battery. Also, arc lighters already exist, and they work pretty well.
$20 Just bought one - High ratings - http://www.amazon.com/Tesla-LightersTM-Rechargeable-Windproof-Lighter/dp/B016P8A1K4
It's listed as a windproof lighter, nowhere does it say it will only work with cigarettes and nothing else. I figured it could at least light a cigar but nope not easily.
Thanks. As far as packs go, I'm also pretty set on only buying Ospreys in the future because of their lifetime policy. I've got a Farpoint, a Talon and a Rev, but I'm weighing my options until my intro main pack that isn't an Osprey falls apart.
Separating is good, too. The Tesla lighters are just as heavy (if not heavier) as a Zippo or the ferro rods bc of the internal battery, but they're also SUPER fun. I've been using this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016P8A1K4 It's like a mini taser. I fully charged mine when I got it and tried to count how many times I could turn it on for 3 second durations, and I stopped counting at 200 only because I got bored with just pressing the button.
Eagle torch all the way man: https://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable-Assorted/dp/B0776NN1CD
The link there is $13 for 4. I paid $13 for ONE at my local cigar shop but it was way better than the 10 dollar pos I bought with my dynavap so I’m still pleased with ‘overspending’ on it. The reservoir is large but you will definitely be refilling every few days with any lighter unless you don’t use the vap cap often. This torch overall is the most reliable of the four I have tried personally.
Trust me, there is no need to go fancier than something like this, if refueling as little as possible is your top concern then get a kitchen torch that you screw onto a canister of butane and that will be your best bet! (The flame will be a tad big, use on the smallest possible setting)
Also buy yourself some good butane, I bought Colibri after buying a crap bottle first and it’s worth it just to extend the life of your torch/its reliability. It’s really not even much more expensive than the cheap options.
One last thing, consider than anything really small and discreet is just gonna end up being hot and annoying/uncomfortable to use.
GOLDNCONN Mini Jet Pencil Flame Torch Butane Gas Fuel Welding Soldering Lighter Cigar (Black-S) (Black-S) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0793JWH4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2SKOCbXCTXVXM
In my experience, Sticky Bricks can go through herb pretty quick. I tend to pack large bowls though. People say they're good for micro dosing, but I just don't pack small.
I was using a small Honest torch that came with my Jr. Recently switched to a larger Honest torch. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0793JWH4K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
ive been thinking of getting This and be good for a long time....
I rolled by hand for years... until this bad boy.
This is just a little cheaper and takes about 2 seconds to figure out. I use one of these every day to roll my daily joint toke. I put however much I want in it, close it up to make the core. and pop in a paper. The 1.25 papers are the perfect length. My pot can go from bud to joint in 2 minutes.
Get a cigarette roller. They're something around 2-3 dollars at any smoke shop.
Be sure to get one that's made of vinyl, slick plastic sucks and is harder to use (so I've found).
I always use these crappy rollers, and buy new ones when I need them.
Could always get one of those zig zag rollers.
Although I would recoment a 110mm, this is a good one.
Here's the roller on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Zig-Zag-Roller-Perfect-Cigarettes/dp/B001GPJY64
Or just get one of these at a store, its probably the best $5 smoking investment I've made.
I suggest using a ZigZag roller. You end up with an evenly packed mj cig every time. Slow, even burn with very little hassle.
My secret santa got me one, this year and I love it.
I love to roll them! I got an MFLB so I don't smoke much anymore. It feels like I'm wasting it if I smoke it alone. It's so fun to roll them. I'm not very good but when it comes out nice, I'm content. There's also those rollers that help you out and cheap too. I've never used it but like I said, rolling is fun.
Here's a link to the "rolling machine"
Good luck, be safe, stay smart, and don't drive while blazed. :) toke on
Rolling machines are pretty cheap. I have one similar to this: $6 with shipping http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001GPJY64?cache=5682fee4cecf7ce364a21c5ac88e3eb6&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&qid=1406224950&sr=8-4#ref=mp_s_a_1_4
Go for rolling papers and $5 roller wheel like this one.
It's a far better value than buying an injector and tubes.
I speak from experience.
The only benefit those tubes have, is you won't burn your fingers nearly as much as rolling your own with Element Rice Papers or paper rolling papers.
Taste is much better on unfiltered, but if you are a newer smoker, start with a mild/gold tobacco or Turkish, as unfiltered is stronger than filtered.
You can buy filters for rolling papers btw, a bag of 200 is usually $3-$5 at amazon.
This is the roller I use.
I bought one of those injectors, the Powermatic Mini, but seriously it sucks. It spits out tobacco on sides all the time, other times it's really noisy, it stinks like a tire (didn't bother me but did bother others).
Biggest flaw of the PM, is definitely when it doesn't fill the center/tip as thickly as the rest of the cig. Then when you go to tap your cig on an ashtray, it will bend the tube.
Really unpleasant experience. Don't even get me started on how much of a joke the PM is at filling 100mm tubes. It basically fails.
If your going the tube and injector route, just get an electric tube injector, as then it won't suck.
I honestly wish I could return my white Powermatic Mini, but I can't because Amazon won't let me.
Learn from my mistakes:
PS: I wish this could be put in the damn wiki!
$2.14 + $1.99 shipping: Zig Zag 1.25 78mm Cigarette Rolling Machine
$3.29 + $2.49 shipping: Zig Zag Orange Rolling Papers 1 1/4 - 3 Pack
That's a lot of papers + a rolling machine for less than $10 shipped.
yellow flame (candle).. no. lots of soot.
butane lighters offer a more focused flame, you get the most even heating. more control.
i have one of these.. dynavap, or dab rig - the flame is adjustable, and the tank is huge.
IH is hands down, game changer.
don't need to pay attention (rotating tip over flame).
the major reason is convenience.
you forgot conduction...
..you don't use the cap at all..
you adjust the max temp with a knob.
I use this tabletop cigar lighter, works great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EQR3LO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've been using this Colibri branded stuff... https://www.amazon.com/Colibri-Premium-Butane-Refill-Lighter/dp/B005ME902S/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=butane&qid=1568073321&s=gateway&sr=8-4
I don't own any what I would call premium lighters, but they seem to run well on this stuff.
I just got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074BCLPN3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it's been pretty awesome. My second favorite is the Vertigo Cyclone II and third is my Vertigo insert for my Zippo. The butane quality makes a big difference, here is the stuff I've been using and had no issues: https://www.amazon.com/Colibri-Premium-Butane-Refill-Lighter/dp/B005ME902S/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1537313074&sr=1-4&keywords=colibri+butane+fuel
I think there is a chart on FC that has different butane and their quality, Ronson is probably the worst.
This is what I've been using for my VapCap:
High quality butane and free 2 day shipping if you have prime (or know someone with prime)
Among many other things, but these are the ones that make it into my rotation most often.
I have a Ronson Jetlite in my survival kit, along with other fire starters. For what it costs it's a surprisingly well made lighter. Very reliable. They practically give them away at Walmart. Fill with butane. Has a jet flame which is more wind resistant than a regular Bic lighter. I have a friend with a battered Jetlite that has been her main backpacking lighter for many years. Bics are a standard fire starter for long distance through hikers who are on the trail for weeks or months though. That should tell you something.
Remember anything with butane fuel has to be warm to light. This means put it in an inner pocket in your clothing before you try to use it. I have read but not experienced, jet flame lighters are more susceptible to high altitudes than lower pressure Bics.
Been using one of these on and off for the past 7 years. No complaints. Looks nice enough. Works nice enough. Solid construction and it's cheap enough that it's easily replaced if it gets lost or stolen.
Sure. It's a great little lighter. Period. The fact that it's less than 5$ at your local Walgreens makes it even better. It has a jet flame, and it runs off butane. The form factor is very Zippo-ish, but it is slightly slimmer. It has a strong child safety, but it can be removed relatively easily and the flame can be turned up to your heart's desire.
Reviews can be found here that will back up all my personal opinions: http://www.amazon.com/Ronson-Jetlite-Butane-Torch-Lighter/product-reviews/B006G1KVQ0
I'd suggest getting a Ronson jetlighter. Similar design, but cleaner burning and easier to fill.
Edit: Full site link
I don't have the split pea, but I have this one and love it.
Yeah. Here is the lighter from the True Utility website and here it is on Amazon. I paid about 10 bucks with shipping from Amazon. The most it should cost anywhere would be about 20 bucks.
123 thanks for the contest!
Are you drunk
2.12 free shipping.
thanks for the contest!
At $2.13 with free shipping, I highly recommend it. It's really useful for when your lighter runs out or whatever and you realize that nobody has a light. It's a last ditch sorta thing. The flame is somewhat windproof too, so that's a plus. At first it kinda pissed me off that all the fuel seemed to be evaporating right out but I learned that it's just like a zippo; cotton balls at the bottom absorb the fuel. You have to soak your balls first.
I want post cards!! I'm new here so hang tight and I'll try to figure out how to pm..
Z-Plus 2.0 Extreme Torch Flame Lighter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ADTCJDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_eH.kDbTRC00GE
Def looks like that one
I realize this is not the requirements you're looking for , but I've found a VERY reliable lighter system that hasn't let me down yet (2 months in). Called the Zplus 2.0, its a zippo insert, dual flame, 23$ CAD at the moment, I paid > 40$ and have no regrets! Already had the case to put it in , so maybe add that to your price...
Linky link: https://www.amazon.ca/Z-Plus-Extreme-Torch-Lighter-Insert/dp/B00ADTCJDY/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=zplus&qid=1565396617&s=gateway&sr=8-1
But do you want a zippo?
Z-Plus 2.0 Extreme Torch Flame Lighter Insert https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00ADTCJDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2eA5AbH78H2FB
It's basically a 2 torch zippo. Its pretty good.
I was originally just going to get the Z Plus 2 insert from amazon, but that costs $18. With the 420 discount I got the Z Plus 2 with zippo for $12.
Tried it with my zippo, with a Z plus insert. 10 seconds.
I'm not sure what exactly is noticeable anyway. The triple flame torch from Dynavap is BIC lighter sized.
This is the one I use. I love it!
Ones similar to this are recommended a lot on this sub.
Some people like Xikar lighters because the lifetime warranty.
I've used both of these for a couple of years without any problems.
Recently picked up a Scorch Torcch Skyline Triple Flame for $12 from Amazon shipped (Prime) as a spare travel butane lighter and feel it's worth the money. The lighter is constructs from metal and the lighting mechanism has a satisfying feel to it usually only comes with more expensive lighters.
Scorch also have a more sleek model for $15 that I may pick one up as well.
Thanks I ordered the $9 one! this guy here, got good reviews http://www.amazon.com/Scorch-Torch-Skyline-Cigarette-Lighter/dp/B00EP2NB6E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1393661762&sr=8-2&keywords=scorch+torch
Me too. I don't know if it's just bad luck or karma coming back to get me, but all the fancy ones just don't cut it.
Actually, I have a Scorch Torch. Apologies - I have a Vector too, and it also works well, but my every day is a Scorch. Here's the link to Amazon. $10!
That's my favorite one for the moment. I also got a couple of these that have been going strong for a couple years: https://www.amazon.com/Scorch-Torch-Skyline-Lighter-Gunmetal/dp/B00G9ERJVO/ref=pd_sim_121_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00G9ERJVO&pd_rd_r=GG3YN4CYZNN3AZHBRDEB&pd_rd_w=ouC0N&pd_rd_wg=VWQP6&refRID=GG3YN4CYZNN3AZHBRDEB&th=1

I've had this lighter for 3 years now, through a couple cop stops and it's been awesome, no issues filling it at all https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00G9ERJVO/ref=mp_s_a_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1519818503&sr=8-5&keywords=metal+cigar+lighter&dpPl=1&dpID=31jKapjetaL&ref=plSrch
Late to the party, but I've recently been liking the ScorchTorch and it's built in punch.
I like using the Djeep lighters for disposable lighters and I use this little propane torch. I also carry waterproof matches in my INCH bag.
Scorch Torch Tactical Ergonomic Angle Double Jet Flame Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter w/ Keychain and Strap (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G9GWANE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_GUdJuJJ5KteWn
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9GWANE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got this a lil over a month ago for my dynavaps, its quckly become one of my favorite torches. Decent size tank for how compact it is, very comfortable to use. 2 small double flames allow for good heat penetration with very even distribution. The 2 drawbacks it has is no visible tank level and it doesn't work real well with the flame inverted(heating up from underneath.)
Agreed on the amazing quality of the M & the crap quality of the two flame torch as I did the exact same thing. EveryDayCarry.com claimed this Scorch Torch was popping so I ordered one. Delivery is today so I have no clue if it's any better. Good thing I have a three day weekend to thoroughly test it out! :-)
With vaporisers like the dynavap M or a sticky brick, ones that are typically called battery free or butane powered vapes they use a lighter like this
You can use a normal lighter with the M but I wouldn’t recommend it, they produce a lot more soot
As for tips, the sweet spot to heat is the NA on "DYNAVAP" on the cap while rotating it.
is this good ? https://www.amazon.com/Single-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable-Cigarette/dp/B00GA80NJO
This is what I have
Amazon.com: Z-Plus Torch Flame Lighter Insert: Sports & Outdoors
If you have a zippo, you can get a butane torch insert. I have this one ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JXF7KW4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jWuBzbM7T7ZED ) but there are other brands as well on Amazon.
It has served me very well, lasted about a year so far. I fill it up maybe once every week or week and a half with fairly regular use. The flame isn't the biggest or the hottest, but I really love mine.
It's this one: Blazer 189-9201 Top-Z Dual Torch Flame Lighter Insert, White/Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KX24ADI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_51efAbPWK2NFS
YMMV but I've had it since August of last year and it gets used almost every day and still works great. For $10 I couldn't ask for anything better. Jetline and Lotus make decent torch inserts as well.
I picked up this one on Amazon and it works great.
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-189-9201-Lighter-Insert-Silver/dp/B00KX24ADI been using that one for a while now and have no complaints. Though I think all 3 responses on here are essentially the same just rebranded.
Dual Flame Torch Zippo Insert.
I personally prefer the single flame lighter, which ever route you take best of luck!
Here it is

Mine doesn't fill quite right, but it's cheap, and still gets the job done. I'll buy another when this one inevitably breaks.
Just bought these and the click it's not too bad. Small enough to hide and easy to see how much fuel you have left.
i ended up getting this 2pk for my new shadow M. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LJVW0FW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_t869BbWGZR198
This is my favorite lighter, it's a triple flame, so it's good for everything except getting the milkiest hits out of a water piece. For thick bong rips I suggest using a single flame. I have an honest single flame torch from my sticky brick. Works super great.
Also it could be the butane that you use. I had the same issues before and then I did some research and that is usually the problem. Buy good butane like Vector 14x or Xikar high performance high altitude. I used lesser brands before and through away lighters, luckily they weren’t expensive. Also make sure you bleed the lighter fully before each refill. But I have two of those lighters I linked and they work flawlessly.

$18 - 2pack of triple torch lighters. I’ve had them for months with daily use. If you use good quality butane (like your Colibri) they should last. Went through 4 lighters in a month before I found these.
Just buy this lighter. Dynavap also uses these for some of their kits, but you can just get two of them for less than 9 bucks each here, and they work great. All my cigar-smoking friends swear by them too.
Did you mean in a local store? Cause they are here: https://www.amazon.ca/Tesla-Coil-LightersTM-Rechargeable-Windproof/dp/B016P8A1K4
how about this:
I have one of these, i really prefer a single torch over the triple i had
Yeah I really like them. I've had several for around a year and they all still work fine.
Grab an order of these
Also this to clean the condenser and tip
Always confirm the cooldown click to avoid combusting. Try leaving the airport open the whole time. You'll find that you dont really need to file grooves. Plus the vapor is WAY smoother.
That’s what I got. Still using the same one for about 6 months now (have refilled it a couple times). It used to light on the first click but only recently started requiring 2-3, so it may finally be wearing out
Also it says they don’t have gas in them but mine arrived full so idk
I have been really liking this one:
GOLDNCONN Jet Torch Cigar Lighter, Strong Flame Windproof Butane Fuel Cigarette Lighter (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0793JWH4K/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_3JgMDbRC7WAQJ
Honest Butane Lighter. Highly recommend as the quality is superior to the one that comes w/the DynaVap starter pack.
Joint rolling machine
I use the Alec Burner. Been using it the last few months. No issues

Theres another one on Amazon that apparently only makes the annoying noise after five seconds. Might be a bit wider as well.
