Best maternity panties according to redditors

I bought these on a whim because my underwear was all getting too tight and I didn't feel like going to a store and trying to figure out what would last me through pregnancy etc. They are comfy and stay in place, so I like them. I'm not used to wearing full butt underwear, though, and they are which isn't exactly what I was expecting when I ordered them. I still find them comfy, though.

It was for me, the elastic waists became superrrr uncomfortable early on just from bloating and it didn’t get any better as the bump grew.

You're in luck, I'm really bored at work and like to shop. I'm 6'1 so I feel you on challenging shopping situations lol.

I think you should go with non maternity with loose over the belly since you say "it's not a bump of any kind" yet. 13 weeks is early for a bump anyway. You can still take "bump photos" in this by holding below your stomach and it'll be smoother since the fabric is loose.

i've worn one of these before & they're insanely versatile. look up youtube videos on the million ways you can tie it. you can also have a tailor cut to your desired length, as its all raw edge spandex anyway

if you're feeling something tighter this is AMAZING. poor reviews because you need to size up. there's a woman in the reviews that is your size and ordered 3x and she looks incredible

I bought these under bump off of Amazon, I sized up to a large per the size chart (was a small pre pregnancy) and I’m kicking myself for not getting preggo panties sooner- they are the comfiest.

While I have no suggestions on maternity underwear, I did go to Amazon to look for myself and found these which made me laugh. 😂😂

I got these "under the bump" style panties off Amazon and I've been really happy with them so far. I only have one baby so I'm sure I'm not nearly as large as you are, especially since I'm not as far along, so YMMV but I've been very happy with these panties. For me they sit enough below my bump that they aren't rolling at the top and such like my other undies are.

Bonus: I could still see myself wearing these undies after pregnancy assuming my weight doesn't change too much and such.

95% cotton, super comfy - I normally wear a M or L in VS undies, needed an XL in these (I think I just followed their size chart)

I got some from Amazon. The brand is Innersy. It was a pack of 5 for $28 Canadian. I find them very comfortable. They’re an under the bump style and they printed the tag in for purposely on the outside so it doesn’t irritate you. Amazon

I have a big butt and thighs, currently 175# at 35 weeks and I ordered the L. They are sooo comfy and are perfect for the hot weather.

I also have four pair of these and they’re my favorite and super comfortable. They aren’t cotton though.

I got these, I have been carrying fairly low and these helped a ton with all the weight/pressure I kept feeling. Some people apparently also use them postpartum! If you get them, I would say size down, I tend to buy L undies, bought M, still a little big but I assume they'll get comfier as I grow.

I got these or something just like them from amazon. They’re great. Last pregnancy I just wore my regular underwear and ruined them and was uncomfortable. Not this time!

I didn’t use maternity underwear with #1, but this go round I tried it and I love it. No more rolling up on Nader my bump! These are the ones I bought.

The catch is that for these and the other amazon ones already posted, you really need to order 1-2 sizes up minimum. The ones I got were manufactured in Asia and their size 2XL was equivalent to Hanes M or L in my experience. Hope this helps! <3

And I love them. So soft, yet stretchy. They fit all the way over my huge belly and the elastic does not cause any discomfort like my regular undies did. Life. Changing.

Get these in a size up (they run small). I live in them and got all the colors. I do not recommend the lace trimmed ones as the elastic has started to do that weird thing where it pops out in tiny bits.

This was already suggested, but highly recommend maternity panties like these. I bought a pack when I first got pregnant with my son almost 3 years ago & after I had him, nothing else could compare for the first few weeks postpartum!! I’m having another baby in 2 weeks via CS & have ordered more already. I would highly recommend for post c-section.

Also, another good thing might be some mederma, or some kind of oil for her scar, once it’s healed. My friend gave me this stuff called Bio Oil & it’s greatly improved the appearance of my scar. Other suggestions would be chapstick. I forgot mine at the hospital & my lips got so dry & chapped after surgery.

A friend highly recommended the Belly Bandit. It's marketed as pregnancy "shapewear", but I wear it whenever I fear thigh chafing or need extra belly support. Which is basically all the time now. It was definitely worth the investment.

Under the bump styles from Motherhood Matetnity are great. I also got these over the bump cartoony ones from Amazon for the giggle factor. I'm a 16 prepregnancy and ordered a 3x (Asian sizing, sigh) and they fit well!
