Have you tried amazon.com?
I found this kit which seems good to me (not pricewise, but not that expensive taking into account it must be a very niche item to buy).
BTW, You can search by "paella" as well as "paellera" as both terms can refer to the pan used to cook paella.
Griswold 14 skillets are rare on their own. Lids for them are even more rare. You can expect to pay hundreds of dollars for one, if you can find one.
I recommend this: Universal lid
Cast iron lids are great for "completeness" of a collection or for display. In reality, they are heavy, hot, and hard to clean. Wagner Ware went almost completely into glass lids in the 50s for that reason.
We've been doing a ton of Spanish food this year. My wife's best friend bought one of these and this and we've been doing different paella recipes like once a month.
We also went to Curate in Asheville, NC and spent like 4 hours eating tapas. Here's their menu (maybe it will make you homesick). We tried every one of their jamons!
Thanks for your quick and thorough response - greatly appreciated!
I'm flip-flopping (pun intended) between an oversized pizza steel and a large paella pan.
I agree - heat distribution is going to be the killer. I'm thinking that maybe the BBQ with the lid open?
Thanks again for your input. Cheers!
Do you like Zelda/do you own the new super amazing hyrule warriors game? If you don't own it yet you absolutely need hyrule warriors. I absolutely loved dynasty warriors and everyone loves Zelda so combining the two is ridiculous fun and I'm already addicted to this game even though its my roommate's so I keep waiting for him to leave the house or go to sleep so I can play it:)
If you already own it then here are a few questions to help me decide on another idea for you: What are your favorite bands or singers? Do you already have a Halloween costume picked out for yourself and/or your pet bunny? Have you ever gotten a professional massage?
Batman suit
If I win I would love this paella pan!
Type "paella pan" into Amazon, or stop by any kitchen store and ask for a "paella pan"
I have the standard garcima.
I see a Garcima 26-Inch Carbon Steel Paella Pan, 65cm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00172HQ8O

Hahahahahaha.
Danke.
Du hast recht, Ich habe keine spanische Restaurants in Österreich gesehen.
