I hear this so much, but I really don't understand how. We're having food stations and we're going through the line first. I'll be done eating before the last table even gets up.

But just in case, I have bamboo plates like this that will hold my glass so I can walk around and still eat while socializing.

Edit: dropped this (

I wonder if you did it "cupcake style" in something like this and had a small display cake for the cake cutting. Then you could decorate them and keep them in a freezer until you serve. No melting time cutting and serving, just straight from the freezer to your guests.

This example should help. Basically,
hollow plastic dowels and cake boards between each layer will support the weight of the tiers and keep them from collapsing. Depending on the diameter of each tier, you'll use anywhere from 3 to 7 dowels. Assemble a tier on top of a cake board with the same diameter. Looking down at the top of the tier, figure out where the dowels need to go. The dowels will go in about halfway towards the center of the cake in a triangle (3), square (4), cross (5) pattern, etc. Once you know where they need to go, cut the dowels to the height of that tier, then gently tap them all the way in. Do this with each tier to secure it. Then stack the tiers on top of each other. And if the tiers are particularly huge and heavy, you'll need a center dowel all the way through the cake (solid wood or metal). But this is only for massive cakes, usually. Voilá.

I used plasticware! I have zero regrets. I feel like they looked beautiful, and going that route saved us a lot of money. I did use glass drinkware, but we got them for about $1/glass, and preferred how they looked over plastic. Here are the listings for the styles of plasticware we used: dinner plates, salad plates, and cutlery.

This set from amazon looks similar but generally, searching for "plastic tumbler" on amazon or walmart's website will bring up a lot of similar results.

-Brie Baker with all the ingredients to get started (Brie cheese, fruit, nuts, honey)

-Butter Bell with a loaf of locally made bread

-Mariposa Napkin Box with Weights and Cocktail Napkins

-Cocktail Shaker Set with Bitters, Stirrers, and a nice bottle of liquor

-Cool coffee table book (esp. if it matches a gift set mentioned above (The Art of Mixology or Magnolia Table) or it's hostess-themed, such as Kate Spade's All In Good Taste or Emily Post's Manners for Today)

-Guest Book for house/bathroom/guest room (and this is always fun because you can be the first one to sign it and everyone at the housewarming party can sign it/write a message). Look around Etsy for these...I'm not crazy about the ones on Amazon.

Hope this helps! Happy housewarming to your friend!

Are you looking for a double happiness pot, red cups, the heart tray or all of the above?

My friends used red paper double happiness cups for less washing. The tea pot was an industrial big thing, not a cute thing. The tray was also a regular silver one.

Sorry for ugly link, on mobile. My friends got those and they go to Australia.

If you have 100 guests it's less than $150. Seems rather cheap to me. I mean, otherwise you need tables and chairs for 100 and the space in which to set them up and the effort of setting them up and lets not forget the plates and *ware and table coverings you would have to provide in addition.

We had a prestige cooker and it was worthless, every damn time that thing gets leaked while whistling.

Maybe was a design fault. Model was similar to this: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00QWPWUFU/ ignore this type of slide on lids and stick to normal, this type of old fashioned cooker lid: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00JFUBHDK/

Stick to Hawkins. (Futura is also from Hawkins)

also they have some discount going on if you exchange from a Hawkins shop.

Been wanting this "Looks Like It's Fuck This Shit O'Clock" pint glass (on my $5-$10 list) for a while!
