Just bought basically the same ones and added tray tables with cupholders.

They are quite sturdy. I don't think they are really FOR LIFE per say, but they are of good quality and I would expect them to last quite a few seasons, especially if they are brought inside or stored in a shed/garage.

I highly recommend them. I have enjoyed quite a few cigars and whiskeys in those chairs.

I am the exact same way. The way I see it, the down-time just makes the freedom all the more satisfying.

PS. I found that being outside helped quite a bit. It was a chore getting to the backyard but I managed to get myself into one of these chairs which let me tilt back and elevate my knee. Highly recommended

No need to pay $100 for Cabela’s to slap their name on it. You can get zero gravity chairs way cheaper on amazon.

My friends have the set listed above and they are pretty comfortable and easy to adjust. We have a different set, but I can’t find a link for them.

I definitely recommend using zero gravity chairs while camping. They are so comfortable. You need to get ones with the clip on table (or order the table separately).

I'm thinking about getting some inflatable stuff for camp, specifically this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G7H7AUS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g.jIAb9656Q29

Anyone ever used this or something similar? Worth my money?

As a fellow Marylander I insist that you replace that dolphin pillow with a more appropriate one.

Pretty happy with my portable lawn chair. There's a cupholder attachment that clamps to it and works out really well. I am the envy of all my friends. I keep telling them it's the best $40 I ever spent (the link has two, which I recommend if you cohabitate,) but so far none have pulled the trigger. Which is fine. I enjoy my luxury and comfort and they can all sit in the grass or on their plebeian folders. :)

I actually bought it in Costco, it's supposed to be a picnic table or bench. But it works great as a bonsai bench

Following your formatting lol

⚡️🌲 hmmmm tape, scissors, maybe a marker (to mark what cup is yours). The bigger problem IMO is forgetting “obvious” stuff. My first year, I forgot a toothbrush. This year, my friend forgot a pillow. I have a google doc that I maintain throughout the year. As I remember stuff I should bring, I add it to the list. You’re a lot less likely to forget something if you’ve been compiling the list for months.

⚡️🌲 a super comfy bed setup. I have a queen sized air bed cot and I always bring lots of blankets and pillows. Invest in a comfortable camping chair, not just a $10 Walmart one. You don’t have to splurge, I got a $20 one this summer and it’s 1000% more cozy than the one I had before. Bring lots of string lights (solar ones are great and you don’t have to buy batteries) to put around the campsite so you aren’t fumbling in the dark. Don’t forget a lantern for the table. I like having a camping rug/mat for under the canopy so the campsite isn’t muddy/dirty. Also, this is a game changer.

⚡️🌲 Not a solar charger but this is the battery pack I have. Fully charged, it has lasted me throughout every festival I’ve taken it to.

⚡️🌲 2017 I arrived at 9 pm on Wednesday, this year I arrived at noon. I think I had an hour wait this year and about half an hour last year. They’re pretty good at getting you in quickly. I’d say just arrive at the most convenient time for you.

You won't get much ;)

I've done hotels, tents and air mattresses, and cars.

But my favorite is the easiest. A sleeping bag and a zero gravity chair. You will not be more comfortable with such a simple solution. Chairs pack flat, sleeping bag is small and light. And you'll use the chairs all through the comp day and night.

I have one very tall, elderly patient with bad knees, so he doesn't like to sit down and then wind up hurting his knees when he has to stand up again. He uses a patio (outdoor) height bar stool in his shower. Waterproof. He put crutch tips on the feet of the stool so they don't slip. Very cool idea. My knees aren't that bad yet, but I will remember his tip for the future.

I made this so I could visualize it myself. Simple and minimalist, so it seems fairly low maintenance. I like a black painted wood bench (add some pillows for your style), a black metal end table, and simple decor like potted plants and oversized lanterns. I think the curtain helps close in the area and make it look more cozy. I know this style isn't for everyone and may not exactly match your house exterior, but let me know if you like it :)

I was given this one by Bliss They list the shipping weight as 23.6lbs, but I doubt the chair itself is much over 15lbs. Still might be a bit large for a Prius, but I like mine so much I'd strap it on top if I had to. There are lots of cheaper, and perhaps smaller options.

One idea I had was to essentially fix a black tarp on the inside, like a big waterproof bag where everything can be stored. That way the rain will drain around it. Unsure how that'll look from the outside but it could be a solid solution.

Edit: something like this seems like it might be the best path forward. A same-size bag with a zipper that I can use to waterproof the items inside the storage container.

Many versions of switch guards are available, some, like the one pictured require something like a paper clip or pen to actuate, others can be had with a more open design that can be hand actuated but are still partially covered to prevent accidental switching.

For 10 grands you could pay someone to make it for you.

You can track down the specific manufactured of this one and get it shipped.

You can buy a cheaper version on amazon.

Or you can just have a bench and a table, and move them around as needed.
