Take him back to the vet to get checked out for a UTI or other issues, and mention that it all started happening after he was neutered.

You need to clean any spots he's peed on with an enzyme cleaner like Nature's Miracle. A good black light will help a lot here, I got this one off Amazon and it's pretty amazing.

Try Dr. Elseys Cat Attract litter, it has something in it that draws cats to the litter box and makes them want to go there. Pet Smart sells it or you can find it online.

You can try containing him in a small space to retrain him if you have a spot, or you can get a cat enclosure (I have one that I found on Amazon for like $30 with enough room for them to move around and have a litter box and food in there with them.)

And if all else fails you can mention putting him on anti-anxiety drugs like Prozac for cats. I had to use it once we introduced a cat that sprays and he taught my other cats how to spray and it was getting wild until the pills finally got into their systems and they stopped.

But first, get the vet checkup, and get the area cleaned! Hopefully he won't need the last suggestion.

In addition to this if it is your kitten spraying I would recommend buying a black light like this. You can shine it around the area at night or if you can darken the room and it will illuminate any urine if there is spray being left on the carpet or walls.

I prefer my Feit Electric Blacklight bulb on a swing arm task lamp the most over a flashlight-size (maybe because it's too compact, haha), but here's what I've used. The bulb is also far faster at charging.

Edit: Actual lamp, I have no idea. I've had it for over 10 years, haha.

Other people have linked this flashlight a few times, but I haven't used it myself: https://www.amazon.com/Flashlight-Vansky-Ultraviolet-Blacklight-Eliminator/dp/B07DD7L7S7

Lol no it doesn't work great. UV lights work great. For ~$20 you can get the UVBeast MIDI or basically any 395nm 100 LED UV and you'll be amazed how bright glow stuff is. This works for anything with glow material.
