I would upgrade to ps4 controller and this works like a charm holds the vita nice and snug, and makes gaming way easier on the vita

I put the front part of the controller holder in between my phone and phone case, and the phone holder stretches to perfectly hold onto the switch.

It worked out great

For 2D games, I prefer the PS4 controller. It's always going to be about which control method is intended to be the primary method for the left thumb, D-Pad or Stick. D-Pad is better for 2D, Stick is better for 3D.

As such, the PS4 controller with a phone mount and a wired connection (Micro-USB to Micro-USB or Micro-USB to USB-C) is amazing for 2D Emulation. This is the mount I use:

Bit sturdier, but hard to get off once you put it on. Have use something hard like a key to unhook it. The other one uses plastic straps you attach to the back of the controller.

Also feel the PS4 controller's a bit sturdier than the XBone controller for putting in a backpack.

It works fine. Doesn't feel too flimsy.

However, DS4 + clip + iPhone is kinda heavy in the hand. I really start feeling it in my wrists after 30 minutes. I don't really recommend this setup.

It's a minor thing but you should remove the kinks from your mouse. You only need to do it the the part that is visible on the desk.

Also, some kind of phone dock might be a good idea if you can find one that doesn't take up a lot of desk real estate. Gives the phone a home on the desk.

You seem like you are the kind of person who appreciates quality. I say this because you have a pair of HD800's. If you are such a person then I'd recommend building yourself a custom mechanical keyboard instead of having to put up with the Corsair K70 RGB. Speaking of your headphones. Again, like the controller, you should make them look like they have a dedicated place. You should get two wall-mountable headphone stands and put them up on that left hand side wall. If you wanted to sacrifice convenience for looks then you could also get a wall-mounted hook for the cables since they are detachable. I always thought that cables that hang from headphones are messy. If you remove them then they are much easier to display nicely.

Your cable management is quite good but can be improved:

• Cables under the both monitors can be hidden behind the arms. Black electrical tape can be good for this.
  
• Cables out the back of the PC can be hidden with some sort of cover. Black card or black cloth are good choices for this.

In my case the fan had begun to fail from having to run too hard for too long (it had quite a bit of play in it when I took it out, and the console would often overheat and shut down despite the fan running because it couldn't go full speed).

Go find a PlayStation 1 emulator and get the ROM for it. Been doing that for years. Plug in a PS4 controller with an OTG cable and something like this to hold your phone while you hold the controller and you're good to go.

What I would like is them to release the D1 PSX digitally in the PSN tore, but it looks like that was published by EA at the time, so they likely own the distribution rights to it so it would have to be some odd agreement for them to release it digitally. Then I could just play it natively on my Vita and Vita TV.

Not sure if this is exactly what OP has but you can get wall mount and controller mount fairly cheap.

I use this one and find it to be solid build quality. The people complaining in the comments didn't try hard enough to clip it as I had no problem with either gen 1/2 DS4 controllers.

Hello, the Dualshock 4 is my favorite Android conttroller! Get an OTG jumper cable (Bluetooth causes loads of lag and packet loss on most Android devices). Some of the newer Samsung phones blacklist the DS3/DS4 Bluetooth&OTG drivers (I think because they are working on their own controller). Others claim its because it conflicts with the Gear VR. Haha not really no. But if you think your PS4 is really overheating you should buy a Kootek Cooling fan with 2 charching ports for controllers and a physical disc case holder for 14 games. with 2 extra USB ports to use. Its like 25 dollars or so on Amazon.
The cooling fans themselves are not superpowerfull but they do help. Its a great price for all those things. Watch out to buy the right one cuz there are 2 versions, PS4 or PS4 Pro.

It’s very basic but I like that it looks like the official Sony stand. Be aware though, the bottom doesn’t have any sort of grip so it can slide around on a smooth surface, so I just stuck on some circular no slip pad and now it’s great.

Unless you're getting a bog-standard black 4 or Pro, you should embrace that the system will also double as a display piece. Order a Hide-It mount off Amazon for your Pro and display it on the wall for all to see. The mounts are custom built to the systems specs and are powder coated steel that gets stud mounted or wall anchored. That's what I've done with my Black Ops III PS4, my Gears 4 XbOne S, and what I'll do with my 500 Mil Pro when I get a bigger mancave soon. They also reduce heat and dust!

You need to buy a mount for the old one, the new one has one built in. The stand on it is designed in such a way that you can bend it to either stand on its own or clip it to the top of your TV. It's also really easy to wall mount with stuff like this.

I wanted it off the floor to allow for better heat flow and to keep it from gathering dust. I bought the mount late last year and am only getting to use it now. Once you drill it in place the PS4 can literally just slide in. Also, I think it looks kinda cool haha

An extra dualshock 4 is a must. Always nice to have a spare. I prefer a charging stand over a cable (i only use the cable to sync my controllers), and a vertical stand. Also a Vita is a must have but you can always get one later.

Is this for a phone? If so, have a PS4 or Xbox One controller? Just get a phone clip. I don't use my PS4 controller via Bluetooth, so I can't attest to that, but my X1 controller is just perfect. Especially now that I got a phone clip for it. My Note 10+ fits perfectly.

Yeah, but when a family member is using the TV my PC is connected to, I stream to my laptop or even phone to play. I got one of these PS4 phone mounts to use when I'm streaming to my phone, works nicely.

What you're describing is a Male-To-Male Micro USB cable that has the capability to have a host and device relationship, like with OTG. This custom made USB cable that comes with this DS4 mount might work.

Since Amazon shipped the item to you on behalf of the seller, as long as you let them know why you want to return it, they wont charge you a return shipping fee, should just email you a return label so you can drop it off at a UPS drop-box or store and get your money back.
