The official one is really good.

$24.99 on Amazon

I see it. Checked it out on amazon.

While the new remote is better than the other small one. I dunno if this is better or worse. I do like that it has an IR blaster and finally L and R buttons. But it depends on your devices. Like audio receivers etc. might need those extra buttons. Same if you’re using it with a cable/dish receiver and like manual inputting channels.

But yeah I think for now I’ll wait till I need to spend $30 for a remote.

The one in your link is the current small model. Doesn’t seem like the new one is avaliable at any Best Buy’s or Amazon - at least Amazon doesn’t have it till the 18th.

If you have limited space and only 1-2 controllers, I’ve found the Nyko Modular Charge Station to be a good product. The one I have is different than the one pictured in the product listing on Amazon, but still works great.
If you watch Blu-rays or stream movies/TV with your PS, the PDP Bluetooth Enabled Media Remote Control is really nice to have. Sadly, it doesn’t work while playing games, as I had hoped in order to automate my gameplay of Injustice 2.

I have this one. It works well my only gripe is that there is no touchpad equivalent button, but everything else works well.

Yeah, I was looking at something like this or this (mods, let me know if links aren't allowed, I'll remove). Something comfortable for one hand while I draw with the other. I just don't know if I'd be able to set up the buttons as shortcuts in Clip like a regular keyboard.

Im using this one. It’s cheap and does everything I like it to. Helps with binging and is a super easy set up. I’m very happy with my decision to get one.

Don't like the official 3rd party one bruh? ps4 Universal remote

Got you covered! I use this with my PS4 and TV. Volume controls work through my sound bar without having to switch inputs. It works well.

This one? I wasn't sure if there were any others recommended since this only has 2.5 stars.

There's a media control you can get, nowhere near as expensive as another control

EDIT: Here you go

old or new. Funny enough, they're the same price now!

Do you wait for your remote to actually stop working or do you change the batteries when it says they are low? Mine reports low batteries pretty quickly but I don't have to change them that often.

I have this remote: PDP Bluetooth Enabled Media Remote Control for Playstation 4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072C7YZFC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6jqSDb2QEMDVD

For anyone wondering, you have to hold down the triangle button to access the “touch pad” button equivalent on the controller. It took me forever to figure that out and there is no other way to go to last channel without it.

Yep. As touched upon below, it turning off after a certain amount of time without touching it is very annoying. Couple that with the fact that it eats through batteries quickly, as well as being generally unresponsive, and it becomes rather annoying. Just go check out the reviews for it on Amazon and you'll see what I mean.

Dear audiophiles,

my question in short: what is/how do I find out the infrared code to control a Teufel Decoderstation 5 via universal remote?

I purchased the universal remote for PS4, hoping that I would be able to control all my devices with it. Bluetooth pairing with the PS4 works just fine as does the IR pairing with the TV. My audio system though is a Teufel e300 with the according Decoderstation 5.
The auto pairing function of the remote is unsuccessful - it seems to trigger some random function, but doesn't manage to turn off the device as it should. Next step would be manual pairing. However, I cannot seem to find the necessary IR code. Even the manufacturer itself appears to have no clue what the IR code is. Obiously, my online research didn't produce results, otherwise I wouldn't post here.
Are there any previous experiences with this issue? Is there any way to find out the code?

I'd appreciate your support!

EDIT: I managed to pair a universal remote app on my phone with the Decoderstation 5, thus it definitely is possible.
