Yep. Hanger is real! BTW, Yogi Chai tea really helps take the edge off when fasting. I was a much nicer person after drinking it.

Look for rooibos. It's like tea but no caffeine.

Well, assuming you could scrub all the coffee residue out of the basket it would probably just taste very weak. You might be able to do okay with something that infuses really fast, like a CTC Assam. You could even try grinding up some tea so that you get better extraction, but then it would probably just end up really bitter.

Now rooibos is a different story. I tried Red Espresso which a finely ground rooibos and it's quite tasty. Here's an action shot.

For the price, this rooibos is great!

I have so much of this already you don't even know. I also highly recommend the Vanilla Red Tea.

Red Rocks Vanilla & Almond Rooibos. They don't make this specific one anymore so I'll have to find a new source once I finish my last 2 tins. My tins are also misprinted as "roobios."

edit: The Tea Spot seems to sell it under the name Almonds & Bourbon now. Good to know.

It's quite good plain, but many companies sell it mixed with Vanilla (or other flavors). My wife and I buy it in bulk from amazon for quite cheap and we drink just about every night. It also tastes pretty cold iced:

Bam! $6.78!! :D

It'd be super useful for hiking, too!

Edit: Hilariously, I was browsing through amazon's suggestions for me and found this just before I saw this contest! XD

EDIT AGAIN: Ooh poop, added before today?? In that case, I've got this tea on my Silly Fun Wishlist that's $6.80! :D

Amazon. 2$ tea samples. You don’t have a choice, the samples are random. But you can choose if you want fruity. They’re very tasty. I make iced tea, and use loose green tea as a base and just mix the samples in.

Like everything else supplier usually export their top grades. So ironically buying the brand you find in a SA corner shop is not the best way to go.

Given a choice I'll buy these.. Else Tetley or Clipper. Freshpak is fine too, but not first choice given above.

Also...don't get flavoured ones. Rooibos has plenty of depth & flavour on it's own.

I wanted to get this from amazon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F2GW4J2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2OPVPQ8WQXHCA , but Im afraid to buy it then not liking it

Really, on a Monday?

This tea sounds super good!

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!

I havent had the red passion. I have had the Davidsons rooibos chai and it's not bad. A little strong on the chai. I personally prefer straight up rooibos. Some people dont like the taste of plain rooibos but I love it.

Oh yeah, I just remembered that Frontier rooibos had a better, fresher flavor to it the last time I bought it at my local coop... Looks like you can get it on Amazon for the same price as Davidsons

Ha! Can't you just tell them you plan to use it for decaf? Or for rooibos? It works just as well for that as for coffee.
