If you ever get a hold of a plastic syringe

you can suck water in that would fill it about 1/10 measurement.

Then cover the tip with your thumb to create a seal.

Pull the piston backwards slowly, creating a vacuum. The further back you go, the more the water will boil.

It's a fun little experiment, there is some math involved with the amount of water and the size of the syringe, I normally use a 10 ml one, that comes along with fluid medicine for kids, and I do it with 1/10 capacity.

"Proceed to place it in the ass" that made me Lol hard. So I'm like the last person you want to ask if you're concerned for your safety because I'm just kinda winging it.. I've never gotten sick or injured in all my years of being a deviant though..

That's what I use to "place it in my ass" (I had to sand down the tip on cement to make the opening wider, took like 2 mins to do). Yeah I prepare the oatmeal normally, water I just use tap which you're probably not supposed to do.

If anyone's looking for a cheaper alternative, there are a couple: https://www.amazon.com/Mumford-Autoject%C2%AE-Injection-Device-Aj1310/dp/B01DME3OA8

https://www.maxiaids.com/autojector-ii-for-easy-injection?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_7HdBRDPARIsAN_ltcIrmmJNxC81_E9IPQj4qh9Y4Xn6TdUVBhRCeEJWCxNeoK0diHOXMScaAmBMEALw_wcB

If you google 'autoinjector' you can find a few others. I haven't used these, and I imagine the Danish one is probably better quality, those europeans and their gosh darn high quality product standards.

People interested in manipulating concentrates have them.

FWIW I don't have a set of weighted surgical clips like OP lol

Also blip and bloop. You want a Luer tip.

If you want to make MCT oil, here's the method I use for extraction:

  • Decarb 60 gm of bud at 250 °F for 45 minutes
  • Chop lightly in blender
  • Add to crockpot and cover with 600 ml MCT oil + 1 tbsp lecithin
  • Heat at about 160 °F for 2 - 3 hours with occasional stirring. Check the temp periodically so it doesn't over heat.
  • Let cool, filter and transfer to 1 oz dropper bottles

You should have enough to fill 16 - 20 bottles. Depending on the strain, the oil should contain 15 - 20 mg/ml THC.

    Some items you may need:

    Turkey Bag for decarb

    MCT Oil

    Lecithin

    Digital Thermometer

Honey Strainer to remove the particulate

    Large syringe for transferring oil

    Dropper Bottles

They are the same syringes that ilera uses for their distillate.

Unless you’re making a huge batch, I wouldn’t use a beaker. I use these 6ml glass dab jars for mixing.

Use syringes with plastic tubing stuck on them. Just mix it up on a piece of scrap wood or paper plate, pack the syringe, and inject.

You could also use heavy duty freezer bags with a corner cut off... like piping frosting onto a cake.

u/CeeCuba · 3 pointsr/BadDragon

The particular brand BD uses is Monoject I think, in the standard 60ml. Any brand should work... just ensure that it has the correct 'tip' for tubing.

Something like this should work!

u/goosegun · 3 pointsr/QWISOInfo

For the syringe, is this what I'm looking for?

And for #8, how does one spread the oil super thin onto the parchment? I see this as a step for all purging most all concentrates, but the two times I've made BHO trying to do anything with it was a mess.

Many thanks sir!

u/eyeroller_99 · 2 pointsr/succulents

I have large syringes that I use to focus water in my arrangements with different succulents in one container and found they also work well when empty to blow dirt and pooled water that could cause blemishes and rot on the leaves away. Here's the ones I ordered from Amazon.

u/dajohnnyboy · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

If you want to refill cartiridges and the eyedropper option is too big, you could try a plastic syringe with a plastic screw on tip, instead of the sharp, long pointy needles.

An easier method would to just use a pen with a converter instead of a cartridge or other filling mechanism like the a piston that Noodler's and TWSBI have.

u/llllllllillllllillll · 2 pointsr/oilpen

Those will work, but glass and stainless steel would be preferred.

Thick oils will wreck the plastic ones pretty easily.

I'll add a couple things -

Look at the Samigon reels - they have much bigger "ears" (where you slide the film into the reel) and are way easier to load - see if the Patterson has the same size.

I use a syringe with tubing to get developer syrup out of the bottle and into the graduate - makes it easy to be accurate with no spilled drops. That was one of those "Wish I'd thought of this a decade ago..." (I cut the tubing down to like 3" though).

NO on the squeegie...

Funnel, stirrer, can opener ("churchkey") - get those at the grocery store. And look for some kind of basin or tub - you'll need to put ice water or hot water in it to get your dev. to the right temp. Usually it can also be used to store all your developing odds and ends, tank, thermometer, etc. Like, a Rubbermaid tub, a foot square and 8" deep, something along those lines.

I like having a 1 liter, a 300ml and a small (like 100ml) graduate, though the 1L I use more for prints. I have a couple random plastic measuring cups for holding chems, just grocery store items.

YOU FORGOT: PrintFile film sleeves; a good pair of scissors; white cotton gloves; a can of dust-off compressed air spray, all for when you sleeve the negs. A Binder or notebook for notes on developing, recipes, tests, etc. Developing times from the internet or instructions are only a starting point, the best thing about DIY is learning what film and dev combos work for you, and what times and dilutions deliver negs you like and are a breeze to scan or print. "Expose for the shadows, develop for the highlights" is all wasted if you just use the same time for every situation.

https://www.amazon.com/Syringes-Scientific-Measuring-Watering-Refilling/dp/B07C71C1LH You're thinking like this style of syringe? I'm sure there's syringes out there with nozzles that would be just fine for grease.

That being said, is there a budget number you had in mind?

Problem 1. It might just be easiest to remove the radiator to drain it.

Problem 2. Use this bracket to mount your pump/res to your radiator. If you flip your rad and mount the pump/res as low as possible (similar to where it is now) it won't block the ports with this mount.

Question 1. This doesn't help you, but some radiators like the Alphacool Nexxxos XT45 360mm come with a port on the bottom of the radiator. I have no idea why their website shows no port in the picture, but mine has one. Their photo of the UT60 has one.

Question 2. Draining a top radiator is no easier. The problem with radiators is in order for the fluid to drain, it needs to make a huge u-turn. Water enters one port, and can't exit the other port unless is travels to the bottom, flows to the other side of the bottom, then flows back up to the top. In my experience, disconnecting tubing from a top mounted radiator requires a lot of paper towels.

Question 3. For difficult to drain sections of my loop, I use one of these 100ml syringes with plastic tubing. I poke the tube into the hole (teehee) and suck the fluid out with the syringe.

If you find that the capsules are helpful, you may want to look into making your own using the syringe distillates; you'll end up saving quite a bit of money (my last batch of 10mg capsules came out to just over $20.00 USD per 30 capsules). In addition to the cost savings, you can make the capsules in any dosage that you want.

I use coconut oil as the base and sunflower lecithin to help the body process the cannabinoids. The amounts to use vary by how many capsules you want to make, the size of the capsules, the potency that you want each capsule to be, and how much actual THC and/or CBD is in the syringe. My only golden rule is to use ~ 0.065 ml of Lecithin for every 1.0 ml of oil in my batch.

I mix the coconut oil and lecithin together in a 100ml flask using a glass stirring rod, using a heat gun to warm up the oil (I go by feel, but I'm guessing that the oil gets to ~ 140-160° F). Once they're thoroughly blended together, I add the syringe of distillate and do the same. I'll hit the flask several times with the heat gun as I'm stirring, just to keep the oil warm.

Once completely blended, I use a syringe to fill the capsules:

Here's the equipment that I use:

You can buy them on amazon. The needles are changeable luer-lock style that you can buy cheap as fuck. I used to have one and they are kinda neat for sitting at home, but are not very practical. They are big, heavy, and they don't make tiny little luer lock needles like I prefer.

How about...

60ml = 2oz

Or maybe this one with a tube:

You could have three or so and when you're done clean them. One for the chemical, surfactant, and marker. (Though the latter two I just glub glub into my mix. 😊)

My friend introduced a tradition of these as jello shots one halloween. Obviously as it's for a child's party just use regular jello with no alcohol!

Draw up the jello into the syringe and leave them to set in the fridge as you would in a jello mold.

Squirting the jello into your mouth from the syringe is super fun!

for the future, try using a syringe.

Is it strictly necessary to utilize a noodle press to achieve your desired end result? I've done TG noodles before, but simply sealed the farce in bags and pressed it flat before slicing into noodles by hand after cooking. The end result is a flat noodle, akin to fettuccine, and works well in my experience.

An alternative that I've played with when doing agar gels for a different dish is to use a syringe, such as this, to extrude a single noodle at a time into your water bath, if following the same technique as Dufresne.

Without knowing the parameters of your design assessment, I cannot state for certain, but I suspect that a syringe of the above sort could easily serve as a foundation onto which you could attach your own extruding die using a food-safe epoxy.

Look into paced bottle feeding. ALL fake nipples have too fast a flow for babies b/c the milk comes out whether baby is actively sucking or not. Video example.

I have had my kids on bottles at different points in their development and I also exclusively breastfed. My first was doing bottles from the first day in the hospital...but it caused a lot of issues with my supply and baby's latch. We had problems for 6 full weeks...that slowed significantly with her age, but eventually I gave up pumping by 5.5 months, and breastfeeding at about 10/11 months. My mom gave her milk with a spoon b/c she struggled with a bottle.

My second...This time I waited until "milk supply was established" as was recommended at the time...around 3ish weeks maybe? She took bottles pretty well and then one day just stopped. And it happened to be the day I was hours from home. My husband kept texting that she didn't want the bottle and I was like, "She'll get hungry enough eventually..." and she never did. When I got home she' hadn't eaten at all for 6-8 hours except for the drops my husband got in when she was sleeping...he squirted it into her mouth. I didn't realize the extent of the "not eating" bit...or I would have told him to use a spoon or something. From about 4 months on...she did not take a bottle.

My third...When she was about 6 months I tried to give her a bottle. She drank it while staring at me (I was across the room) the whole time. When it was empty she took it from my husband and chucked it. She even yelled. And that was the last bottle she ever took. Luckily, b/c of her age, I could give a cup occasionally, but I wasn't working and only pumped occasionally to relieve pressure if she missed a feed or something.

IF bottles are not working at all you can try other methods: A soft sided cup or specialty cup. A large syringe. Or even just a small spoon. Yes. All of these methods will take longer than a bottle. But if the goal is to feed baby pumped milk - then they will meet that goal.

Would something like this work? I looked on Ebay but I'm not too familiar with these things. I know I'll need a very thin one to be able to fit in the small hole to suck out the liquid.
