You just made my day
I had to find it

I have one. Currently has peanut butter M&Ms in it. Amazon, Fred & Friends is the brand. I bought it 2.5 years ago and it's held up great. here is the link

u/goldensunshine429 · 20 pointsr/mildlyinteresting

It’s called Unzipped. You can try amazon (24.59USD, prime eligible) or Uncommon Goods (16.50USD, $4.95 economy shipping)

If you are outside the US... I am less helpful.

u/invalid_character · 19 pointsr/TsundereSharks
u/pipnwig · 19 pointsr/mildlyinteresting

It was originally made by Fred & Friends, though. If that type of quirky household item is appealing to you, they should be your go-to.

u/Freudian_Trips · 13 pointsr/ThriftStoreCats

Fount it on amazon to save anyone else a few minutes if they want to buy one too! $22 including shipping

u/hainowai · 8 pointsr/ofcoursethatsathing

I got this as a candy jar for work. Decided against it since it actually somehow made the candy look unappetizing.

I know it's not "zero waste," but I got the jars on Amazon. I searched all my local stores and did as much scouring of thrift stores/antique stores as I could for about a month, but I found absolutely nothing. It's a set of 24, comes with labels and a silicone funnel for transferring (and I'll be able to use the funnel for multiple things in the future!). The one bad thing is the funnel is wrapped in plastic, but it's in a zipper bag so I can re-use that for board game parts or something similar.

I'm happy to provide the links, please see below. I have been casually browsing for the perfect spice jar for a along time and I'm very satisfied with these. They are glass instead of plastic, have shaker tops which are easily removable, have a wide mouth to fit a measuring spoon into, have an airtight gasket, and most importantly they are the perfect size for the space.

Since I had to buy a total of 49 4oz square glass spice jars complete with labels and shaker tops, I bought 3 orders of 12qty and 1 order of 14 qty which are 99.9% identical.

The links are below.

For the sweet tooth (like my dad, these are all things he likes):

  • A candy jar or bowl filled with her favorite candy.

  • An artisan ice cream scoop.

  • An ice cream maker. You could get an ice cream recipe book as well.

  • One of my dad's favorite gifts was a sugar dispenser... I think that shows his level of sugar commitment.

  • Some artisan marshmallows.

  • A milk frother that doubles as a hot chocolate maker.

For the executive (like my mom, these are all things she likes):

  • A high quality thermos for coffee on the way to work.

  • A smart home setup, maybe an echo and some smart outlets or the google home. Really good for turning lights on/off, asking for the weather and news, listening to music, etc.

  • A FitBit to help her keep healthy even working long hours.

  • A popcorn maker that allows you to make non-microwaved popcorn in the microwave.

  • A white noise machine. If she has any trouble sleeping this thing is AMAZING.

  • A Roku or Chromecast that makes it easier to watch Netflix on the TV.

  • Wine tasting or cooking class that you can do together. Really my mom loves doing stuff with her family.
u/ariwake · 5 pointsr/battlestations

Alternatively you could get a banana stand and use that instead.

u/cailihphiliac · 5 pointsr/tumblr

do you eat snacks out of a shark bowl?

u/hlbyers92 · 4 pointsr/OrganizationPorn

Amazon. Here is the link. However, I do not have them in hand yet and cannot vouch for them. I will post an update once I know the quality.

u/abbio_kitchen · 4 pointsr/Cooking

Buy a set (or a couple sets) of spice jars on Amazon. Label, and place in alphabetical order in your pantry, drawer, etc. It's a bit of pain transferring everything into new containers, but it makes grabbing what you need super easy. It will also help remember what you need refills on as you'll always have an eye on spices that are getting low!

I'm developing my own ramen pop-up too so I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not a chef but I grew up working in my family's catering business where we sold food at festivals. I have a general idea about how to operate the business but I'm not experienced with starting my own thing. Thankfully, my parents are helping me with suppliers and with use of their commercial equipment. I've spent a lot of time planning and researching others' experience with running a ramen shop/pop-up, and here are some key points I've found:

  • Food prep is everything. Of course this is true in general for all restaurants but literally everything in a bowl of ramen can be made ahead of time.
  • I spent hours combing the internet and also running to restaurant supply stores to find the right disposable bowl. Eventually I found this 35oz. bowl on Amazon and it has been perfect. This might not apply to you if you plan on using permanent bowls
  • I also spent an equal amount of time finding the right noodle strainer. Professional noodle boilers are huge water boilers with a frame that holds the strainer. But these things are incredibly expensive and since I'm on a tight budget, I wanted a strainer that stands on its own in boiling water. I've been very pleased with this one
  • Have one person at a station for staging bowls (tare, aroma oil, broth, and noodles) and then another station for plating (noodle fold, add toppings). I haven't tried this myself but this feels like it makes the most sense
  • If you haven't yet, get a refractometer. My ramen has gotten much better and consistent since then. I aim for a 9 brix for tonkotsu, a 4 brix for chintan

Those are the main things I've learned since I started this venture. Let me know what you think or if anyone else has any feedback

u/brettbri5694 · 3 pointsr/AltonBrown

[These things used to be primarily Cheese Servers.] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07935MXCM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_S1uyDbS2AVMGB) It was GE that started the trend to use them as a salt pig. The one AB has exactly isn’t made anymore. It was a limited run to promote GE from Diamond Crystal.

u/HowIsItThisDifficult · 3 pointsr/Type1Diabetes

All I can say is that it gets easier. We’re 4 years post diagnosis of 2 kids, now 11 and 5. Your endo and diabetes educator are great resources, and we’ve developed an amazing relationship with ours.

As for resources, here are some things we find invaluable - a food scale (makes carb counting so much easier), measure bowls for cereal, yogurt, etc (similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WHEF0IO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aAMHDb46AETKP), and the CalorieKing app is great for finding carb counts on things. We also track all their numbers via the BlueLoop website/app, and their endo’s office and the school nurse can see everything there, too. And if you’re in the US where insulin is expensive and you have private insurance, call the manufacturers and ask for copay cards. I hope this helps, and it will be sooner than you think before it becomes much less overwhelming.

When I first saw my current home I felt the same about a lot of aspects of it. After a few tweaks the home really grew on me and I really love it.

Cabinets

  • Consider using wallpaper to change the panel face. Something like this wallpaper would bring that wood look you mentioned.

    Wall decor

  • Tie in the wallpaper above with some decor like this wall set if you have photos you’d like to hang.

  • Maybe these shelves for decor or practical use.

  • Like flowers? Put some (maybe red?) artificial flowers in these wall planters and hang them up for color coordination.

    Cabinet knobs

  • Something as simple as replacing your knobs can change the look of your kitchen. It’s that final finish that does it for me. Look into something like these knobs to add a more rustic flair.

  • We’ve seen these before but rarely remember of them when thinking of knobs. Change your knobs by adding a backsplash like this one.

    Switch plate covers

  • Replacing these with a a more decorative switch plate cover is such a simple change that makes a difference. You can typically find matching plug plate covers.

    Faucet

  • An ill fitting or beat up faucet can effect the overall look of your kitchen. Find a faucet that you feel will match the look you’re going for.

I hope I captured the general feel of the design you like. I hope these will help you create your perfect kitchen.
u/mthmchris · 2 pointsr/Cooking

IIRC you can find them under 'seasoning box' (or maybe Chinese seasoning box, which's what I just searched on Amazon)... this one is four compartments but you could always toss MSG or flour or something (for rouxs and stuff for Western cooking) in the last container.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I was struggling with spices and got these and thisand OMG I'm obsessed with them. I am short and I have deep cabinets which I can't reach far into, and my spices kept getting lost. I tried something similar to what u/kittehclaws suggested but I didn't like them, it was always a hassle.
It also helps that I started buying my spices at a local bulk store, so I put them all in identical containers with labels. It's cheaper like that, but they also are easier to store and look so much prettier!

This is my sad cracked bowl I am using for a fruit bowl. My daughter refers to it as "the puke bowl" because well... I spent a LOT of time puking in this bowl while pregnant with her little brother :-p

This fruit bowl on my 'Home Things for the Move' wl would be sweet!

We found these which might do the trick.

A little pricey, but my sister always has a box of These at the house. They're pretty damn nomalicious, and dairy and gluten free.

This, or this would be nice.

u/rib_eye_b · 1 pointr/castiron

Olives, pineapple and honey roasted turkey? Not a Hawaiian at all but does sound delicious. I'll give it a shot for sure. It's a Lodge huh? My Lodge pizza pan has very different handles but now that you say it, these Lodge pans are what I was thinking about.

STOCK MY HOUSE

I dont know about you but I need this when ever we get fruit we just keep it in a bag on the table. so this would be nice oh and congrats on the new place :D

u/darktrain · 1 pointr/Cooking

I just have a regular glass spice container with a shaker top, like this, but mine doesn't even have that handy little pour spout. If I need a lot, I just pop the top off, or grab the box.

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree · 1 pointr/grilling

I have a little Lodge cast iron gratin dish and I use that for veggies pretty much any time I fire up my kettle. It’s great for Brussels sprouts, peppers and onions, asparagus, cauliflower florets, green beans, peapods, etc.

Link

EDIT: the snap on work table is great too, assuming you don’t have a table near the grill.

Another: Since you have the chimney, you can grab a Smokey Joe grate for doing the afterburner method.

u/AutomaticFugu · 1 pointr/pics

I just bought that for my wife for Christmas! I also got her this bowl that looks like an open ziplock bag.

u/batbrat · 1 pointr/HelpMeFind

Not identical, but close. It has ball feet instead of curl feet, but essentially the same design: https://www.amazon.com/HANZE-Detachable-Vegetable-Bathroom-Organization/dp/B07T2NFXX6

Hanging from an iron bracket, probably sold separately. Here's one that would fit that basket, but I'd opt for one that was hinged, so it could swing out of the way: https://www.amazon.com/Gray-Bunny-GB-6905BLK-Victorian-Planters/dp/B07JC8VGW1/ref=pd_sbs_60_12
