tldr: don't take advice from pretend experts on the internet selling homeopathy and telling you not to talk to your doctor.

Absolute bullshit. And you show you don't know shit about medicine, despite being willing to write about it. Whole lot of projection when someone defending homeopathy calls other medicine a scam. And I'm happy to explain why.

Homeopathy relies on dilution of medicine, because a central belief of homeopathy is that 'like cures like'. In fact, they believe that the more dilute something is, the more powerful it is.

So lets take a look at your factual claim that the only difference between aspirin and a homeopathic remedy is the FDA stamp, and see if you're maybe just full of shit while you give people dangerous and horrible medical advice.

Googling "homeopathy headache", and looking at the top recommended ingredient give 'belladonna', a plant in the same family as tomatoes. Aspirin on the other hand, uses acetylsalicylic acid. Already, you've equated two completely different medicines. But lets keep going, Doc...

Using Amazon, I find someone selling belladonna as a homeopathic remedy. And like all homeopaths do (because they're fucking quacks), they measure the strength of the medicine in the number of times it has been diluted. This one specifies '6C'. Which, if you look up the table on wikipedia, means that any original ingredient has been diluted by a factor of 10^-12 . So that $10 bottle that contains 0.8 Oz of homeopathic medicine actually contains about 22 picograms of 'active' ingredient, which is about a quarter of the size of a red blood cell.

If you take 100mg of aspirin on the other hand... let me check my calculations... yup, thats 100mg of aspirin. So what call 'equivalent', I would call 4 billion times more of a completely different ingredient.

Please, for the love of god, stop giving medical advice.

Sorry, I didn't really explain. It doesn't really matter when you eat them, just try to eat at least one a day and you should be fine. A banana is also a nice, low glycemic energy boost about 30 - 45 minutes before you roll, so that's what I'll do sometimes. The potassium is really what stops the cramping as sharked pointed out, but I'm sure banana's are a lot cheaper, and less of a pain in the ass to eat than kiwifruit, but that's just me. If bananas or kiwifruits aren't helping, you might try Schuessler Salts and that'll stop the cramping quickly. Sometimes they're under a different name tho if you just Google it. Congrats on not having skin issues. I didn't either and I've had radiation 2x the last 2 years. I dont know about the corn starch though. My doctor frowned on it. But hey, we're each different. I was given tubes of this. It was wondetful for the skin especially my mastectomy & lymph nod scars. Good luck😊

Maybe, for $46 shipped I get 3lbs of chems and would still have about .5 lb of aluminum left over after making targets.

Tannerite has sales but the fact that they buy so many bulk chemicals probably means that they can afford to deep discount you too.

I guess if you wanted to just 'roll your own' this is always an option if you can find a cheap source of boom juice to power it. Shoot, apparently even Amazon sells this stuff...

Yes - it's a simple chewable tablet or banana flavored liquid sold at most drug stores. It's one dose. Look for Pin-X or Reece's. It's 1000% nothing to be embarrassed by and there is no reason to go through trying to determine (some people put Scotch tape on the kid's butt) whether or not a kid's itchiness is caused by it. People should pretty much assume that their young kid either has it or is gonna get it because kids simply do not wash their hands well and are touching everything. I took it myself when I was working in the schools about every 6 months to be sure. HIGHLY recommend for parents too.

There is a suplement called melatonin in English. That is to help with sleep. Also, my husband brings back some herbal pills from Cd. Juarez that are literally called Me Vale Madre pills that are herbal to relax you. Maybe those could help?

> Per my last OYS my wife wants to start working out as well. I told my wife I would sign her up for the gym at LA Fitness. She said she wants to see if she can start going to the apartment gym before she does this. (I figured this is what she would want. I offered per recommendation by rockandrollchuck).

Excellent! Well, the offer is on the table so give her some time and let's see what she does.

>Last Thursday I did candy binge since there was a lot at work because of Halloween. To punish myself I did not eat dinner that night. It sucked but it also helped me manage my calorie goals. I was also prepared to do it again if I had to which helped me resist my cravings. I ate some cotton candy at a corn maze I went to with my wife, aunt, and a 4 and 8-year-old but we walked like 2.5 miles and I jumped around in a bouncy house so hopefully that burned it off.

Yeah, I had a relapse with candy last week as well. I'm back to avoiding sugar because that's the only way I'm able to be successful. The older you get the more important it becomes.

>My wife has had a few mental breakdowns this week. At her OBGYN appointment last Friday, they told her her eggs were fine and her body is showing no signs of endometriosis. She was relieved to hear this but they still did not identify the source of the pain. They thought it may be a kidney stone per her symptoms and they found blood in her urine. They prescribed her antibiotics. Since then the physical pain has increased in her side and back and she scheduled an appointment at the urologist for today. They drew blood and tested her urine here as well. They found no blood in the urine this time but they also said there is nothing they can do for her today so she has been stressing out.

If she thinks it might be a kidney stone then you might get her some of this and see if it helps. A few other things to consider:

  • How much water does she drink? My wife used to have back and kidney problems. She drinks at least 64 oz of water every day before work in addition to what she drinks throughout the day and her symptoms went away.

  • How much sugar/bread/carbs does she eat? Especially sweets?

  • How much cardio is she doing daily? My wife notices a huge difference when she does more cardio, it helps with stress-related/emotional-related pain in the body.

  • She might have developed a sensitivity to gluten, so maybe you can convince her to try a gluten-free diet for a while and see if it makes a difference.

  • If it's related to menstrual issues, she can try supplementing daily with Vitamin K1 and K2. She can also try taking one rounded tablespoon of ground flaxseed daily.

  • If it's related to gut issues, a quality probiotic supplement can help. Look for one with a variety of different strains, and go for the non-refrigerated kind.

    >One thing that has annoyed me this week is the topic of Tithing. I personally do not believe in it because I do not feel like paying a "congregations" light bill. But she is dead set on giving 10% a month to Transformation Church (a church we watch on Youtube from time to time). I am not going to stop her because if that is her way of serving and growing closer to God,

Well, as Christians we are free to give or not give. 2 Corinthians 9:5-8 says

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation.

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Personally I think it's best to give to a local congregation that you're attending weekly. Do you have a local church you attend?

    >but if she is going to invest 10% I would rather her invest it in an ATL sex trafficking agency or actually help people in need in our social circles. (We gave 250$ to her aunt so she could pay her car note and 80$ to one of my friends so he did not get kicked out of his motel). He is one of my old druggie friends. Since then I guess he felt indebted and asked if I wanted to come over and smoke and drink with him. I told him politely I put that lifestyle behind me but I will happily have him over for dinner and cards one night. He wants to come over, I just need to set up a date.

I firmly believe that we should support ministries that share the Gospel first and foremost, and then do other good works as we are able after that has been satisfied. Remember to put your own oxygen mask on first though: make sure you're not shorting yourself on your bills to help others who are not being responsible. You do want to buy a house, right?

Also note that this same friend who "needed" $80 to avoid getting kicked out of a motel apparently has enough money for smoke and drink, but not paying motel rent. Think about that, and be careful not to enable him to live a sinful lifestyle. Also be especially careful that you don't get into a situation where a guy like that loses his place to stay and "just needs to stay with you a few days." It will likely end up being a huge strain on your marriage and a drain on your resources. Something tells me that you will have to make this choice soon, and if faced with it my advice would be to say no.

    >Tom and Red together ended up being a great poetic matchup and changed her perspective on a lot of things so I am very grateful.

    Amen!

    >She supports me in pursuing The Great Commission but I do not think she fully comprehends her role of taking a part in it as well at my side yet. Tom and Red mentioned this but for some reason, she has a big wall towards interacting with new people.

Once she sees you living it out daily, faithfully, she will get on board.

Yes because most people who have pinworms do not know they have them. They’ll itch their anus and then touch something and bam, eggs spread. Just wash your hands, dont bite your nails, DO NOT itch your anus, and take the medication. There are no home remedies for these parasites as they are evolved to withstand stomach acid so anything else won’t cut it besides a targeted medication. It’s inexpensive just ask your parents to buy it under the premise you’re nervous you may have them again. You may also want to talk to them and see if everyone in your family unit will take the medication to eliminate the possibility of it spreading again :)

u/refugefirstmate · 1 pointr/Advice

You don't need to go to the doctor for pinworms like when I was a kid half a century ago. Meds for it are over the counter - you can even order them from Amazon.

Description|Hey everyone! In preparation for my red eye flight in September, I’ve compiled a list of 12 tips to get you asleep on your next overnight flight. The goal is to have a full night sleep on the plane so I can enjoy my first day in Scotland without feeling too weird, tired and cranky. Plus, hopefully it’ll set me up for a mostly jet-lag free trip! I hope you find these tips helpful, and if you have any tips on your own I’d love to hear them!⤶⤶Things mentioned: ⤶⤶Disposable toothbrushes-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Colgate-Wisp-Fresh-Portable-Mini-Brush/dp/B00LMITRLM/ref=pd_aw_sim_194_1/140-4379758-0458968?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00LMITRLM&pd_rd_r=23968d21-7200-4dbb-9eb7-1a5fd687443b&pd_rd_w=RxTQF&pd_rd_wg=ZKAoX&pf_rd_p=469620d9-3e90-496d-9dc8-b19f900ba5fe&pf_rd_r=J4HPYSK9R2FHBQBGG42Z&refRID=J4HPYSK9R2FHBQBGG42Z⤶⤶Melatonin-⤶https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000GG6D9A/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1⤶⤶Travel pillow-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Everlasting-Comfort-Memory-Airplane-Earplugs/dp/B06WWFYCSG⤶⤶Travel blanket-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Cabeau-Fold-Travel-Blanket-Case/dp/B00LWAC1UE?th=1&psc=1⤶⤶Lavender filled sleeping mask-⤶https://www.etsy.com/listing/717378131/unavailable-from-813-823-sweet-dreams?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=lavender+sleeping+mask&ref=sc_gallery-1-1&plkey=c0a0bf5c81ffe58b82897ecbc371e9fcc3cabd7e%3A717378131&frs=1⤶⤶Compression socks-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Compression-Running-Athletic-Pregnancy-15-20mmHg/dp/B074MW1MTW/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?keywords=compression+socks&qid=1565214332&s=gateway&sr=8-6⤶⤶Anti-pressure ear plug-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Original-EarPlanes-Healthcare-Airplane-Protection/dp/B0000C1KT4⤶⤶No jet-lag supplement-⤶https://www.amazon.com/Miers-Labs-Homeopathic-Remedy-Count/dp/B00007KUX7/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=no+jet+lag&qid=1565214569&s=gateway&sr=8-3

If your baby has colic these are life savers HYLAND COLIC TABLETS
We called them "Magic Pills" because after three months of non stop colic (gas? Acid reflux?) these finally soothed baby and they're completely natural.

Our neighbors had the same problem about a year later so I bought them some. They came to me the next day and said, "OMG, thank you! We call them the Magic Pills." So, I believe that confirms they're magic.

u/zhw11 · 1 pointr/Soulnexus

I have tried it, but not for long enough for it to take effect. I only did use it for about 6 months. I’m planning to get a year or two supply when I have enough money.

When I was using it I did notice my immune system was better at keeping me from getting sick!

Edit: These are the cell salts I use. I’m thinking of trying a different kind, but I’m not sure yet.
