Personally I like it. Pretty comparable to the mini ramp I have so it’s not weird for me. Specs if you’re interested: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EI2ORK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8643Ab9K5DGBN

I picked up a couple BMX ramps off Amazon that were cheap and light weight (plastic)

They worked perfectly in 1985. Don't know why they would stop all of a sudden. I'm not talking the cheap shit they put on Wal-Mart boards, I'm talking Peralta Rib Bones and stuff like that. They aren't made of regular plastic like the Wal-Mart shit, it's some kind of slippery composite. Plastic rails would just melt.

The local skate shop must love all you kids going through decks and trucks every month. Do yourself a favour. Buy these. They slide on anything and will protect your deck.

$400 is way too steep, I bought mine for $150 new. Amazon has some for less than $100 too that look good.

Hi all,

Looking to setup a rail in my backyard, preferably flat bar. Would a skate rail like this or this work?

This one is just over 5' and is way less: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rampage-Large-Skate-Scooter-Grind/dp/B000KP3RAU
Find somewhere that sells these in the US, probably much cheaper. Can't speak for the quality, but I'm assuming it isn't bad. You could probably look into that yourself :).

If you lift it by the front trucks, the motors will scrape against the floor as you lift the board up. You can't grab it by the rear trucks, the position of the motors won't let you.

If you grab it by the sides with one hand the board will slip down because the high weight and awkward holding position, you are forced to use both hands but if you are not careful the remote could activate the motors.

So, on at the end there is no good way to carry it around.

Here are the possible options:
