I’m going on a short trip to Europe at the end of this month into December. Looking for some fashionable but warm and comfortable shoes to walk around. What do you gals think of these Dr Martens www.amazon.com/dp/B0073ZX9IA/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_bxE3BbTB4VKPE another concern is that I wear size 11 and sometimes I feel that certain shoes make my feet look comically large.

Do you want something more dainty and "feminine" or more chunky?

Dainty here, also here

Chunky here and here (these are a little out of your price range but you may be able to shop around, and Docs and Clarks in general may be good options for you.)

I love my Doc floras. I rock the ridiculous calf hair version.

Amazon here.

My Dr. Martens obsession continues. So I'm currently eyeing three models, the Flora, the Caitlin and the Bessie. I cann't decide. Help.

I have a pair of Teva boots (similar to these) that have held up amazingly. I bought mine off Poshmark for around $60.

I bought my sister's (same issue and she wears a size 12) from Amazon. Something like these may work for you.

Ooh! I wear boots that look very similar to these. They're from Merrell and are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I get home and forget to take them off they're so comfy. I've had them for years and they still look fantastic. They're leather and not fabric but I'll suggest them anyway: Merrell Women's Tetra Launch Waterproof Boot

Here's a few outfits I wore last fall/winter with boots! Shoddy image quality but hopefully you get the idea.

The boots in two of the photos are Blundstone 550s in Rustic Brown (I applied beeswax conditioner and they darkened significantly), and the other pair are these Timberlands. For reference I'm 5'2-5'3 tall and I wear a size 9 boot. My feet are large for my height and tend to look bigger in boots sometimes, but I kinda dig it!

I find that rubber boots always wear and crack because they are not flexible at all (mine usually break at the junction between the "leg pipe" and the top of the foot).

Now I'm a big fan of Gortex shoes (they dont all look like "mountaineering boots") or (more what you're looking for) water-proofed leather shoes with good waterproof soles. example, and here, and here

I think some of those have zippers that aren't waterproof, so I wouldn't step into a lake with them, but for rain they should work great.

I have these and love them. They are comfortable and waterproof. The price changes based on who is selling them and what size you need, but they are about $120. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RL6TL60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Jm.1Ab55KYGET

My wife just got a pair of Ahnu Montara Hikers. A bit expensive, but they're so incredibly light for high-top boots.

I live in VT and these boots are amazing for winter. Suuuuper comfy and I've had my current pair for about 4 years, only a little wear in the neoprene right where the back of my heel is inside. I wear them outside but change out of them at work, etc bc my feet get too toasty!! Here's an amazon link, the BOGS website wasn't loading right for me but I have the Classic Tall rated at -40F. If you can get on their website they usually have some cute patterns.

I grabbed the last pair off of 6pm, but Amazon still has them.

doc marten floras maybe

I've heard good things about the Vans and Uniqlo no show socks.

Dr. Martens Flora (women's shoe).

I copped mine off Grailed for $80, but they can be found for ~$85-105 on Amazon. They're attractively slender and feel plenty comfortable for my wide feet.
