I have this bag and have no complaints. No outside padding for the boot sleeves, but I just have the bindings facing inwards always. Lasted 4-5 seasons now with no visible wear (ski ~15 days/season, with 1-2 plane trips). I actually throw my helmet and ski jacket/pants/socks in there too, nice snug fit & super convenient. But I bet most boot bags can do that. tl;dr it gets the job done

I bought a ski bag off Amazon. It works to toss over your shoulder with a couple swords in it. Light and cheap.

What is the underfoot width of your skis?

Don't bring anything less then 100mm underfoot.

So you need a boot bag? Tons of options out there, most every one has backpack straps.

  • If you're looking for inexpensive and decent quality: Athalon Everything Boot Bag
  • If you've got some spare change and what the ultimate luxury: Heated Boot Bag -- Rossignol branded but really just a Hot Gear bag. Price is CAD, so cheaper in USD.
