Here you go comrade.

How much was the WASR? I picked up some AK mags before Colorado banned the high cap but still haven't got a rifle yet :(.

Looking good! Be careful with those rubber bands though! they can weaken your dreads. I'd suggest buying headbands like these to prevent that.

Also: Be careful when crocheting, its SUUUUPER easy to break hair when doing it and severely weakening the dread. I crocheted mine for the first month and then stopped and stuck to palm rolling them with damp hands. works like a charm. now I just Crochet when I feel its absolutely necessary.

Keep us updated!

Edit: Made it less annoying to the eyes.

I rode through deserts and sun that lasers you dead. These items might help:

u/EnterSadman · 5 pointsr/Ultralight

I'm wary of skin cancer. I'm making the switch from long distance biking to long distance hiking, and when I was biking through the desert I always wore knee covers, arm covers, and a hat thing I found for under my helmet.

I would simply rather cover up than gamble with burns and/or cancer :/

I bought one for 25 a few weeks ago. Amazon link

I usually go out to friends house parties on Halloween so I can't be much help there. If you want to make your halloween really weird check out House of Yes in Bushwick.

If you aren't experienced dressing for cold the low teens will be difficult for you. I'm from the American south and I HATE winters here. The key is to minimize the amount of time you're in the cold, dress in layers, and keep your feet dry. I'd recommend buying disposable pocket handwarmers, one or two of these, and bringing along an extra set of wool socks when you leave your hotel in the morning.

I live in Florida so I haven’t experienced this but I’ve seen people with this on before

they're like cold weather masks, usually like a neoprene sleeve that fits around your nose and mouth and covers your neck. if you google "neoprene mask" you'll find a bunch of them.

it could also be a scarf or a bandanna or something

edit: i actually dont think neoprene is standard. i have one of these. it's pretty useless to be honest

u/cahutchins · 3 pointsr/Montana

North-east Montana ain't so bad weather-wise, it gets hot — 90 or 100 degree days are common, 110 isn't unheard of — but it's not near as hot as a southwestern state, and not as humid as a southeastern state.

If you're working outside a lot, a neck cooler and a neck shade can be a big help.

If you have testicles, Gold Bond Medicated Powder is a summer life saver.

Thanks a bunch for your response!

I do use the timer on my watch quite a bit at work, but I need to replace it soon and I'm not opposed to switching to something a little more feminine. Maybe something like this, this, or even just this? (My wedding band is silver, which I assume matters for metallic-colored watches.)

I do sometimes wear zip-up hoodies in lab, but I know I can't be mad when those make me look like a kid. :) I have a few cardigans that I really like, so I'll see about adding some more to my wardrobe. And I can make an effort to wear blouses more often. Sometimes I worry about wearing clothes I like to work because of how often I'm over at the mouse facilities, but that's not really an excuse, since I'm already in the habit of changing pants before heading over anyway.

Thanks so much for the shoe suggestions. Those are all lovely and along the lines of what I was picturing, but I didn't know the names (again, I suck at shoes) so I was having trouble even googling them to confirm the look.

Try these! I have a huge head and they fit me, lol.

there are lots of gloves which have special tips on the thumb and fore-finger (or all of them) which are designed to be readable by touch screens.

something like this; https://www.amazon.com/iGotTech-Texting-Smartphones-Touchscreens-Details/dp/B00TA06N7U

u/AdamantiumFoil · 2 pointsr/Naturalhair

This is the headband I'm currently using. It's very soft and very stretchy! Other headbands would always feel very tight on my head and I'd feel like my strands were breaking off, but this one's very gentle and you can also wear it in different styles. Only problem is, I want ALL of the colors. :/

I use these and have gotten to work with my hands sweating at about -4C

Kind of a niche question! I'm starting a job as a coach on the water next week and came across this Baby-G G-LIDE Lady's Watch BLX-5600-2JF and think it would be perfect. It's a G-shock, snazzy looking, a good size for me (I'm a lady), and has tides (coaching on the water). But I wanted to check if you all think it's worth waiting for non-Prime shipping, or if you have any better recommendations you could think of, potentially with Prime shipping. Thanks!

Edit: Easy to use stopwatch is a huge plus too!

I buy a pair of these every other year. They tend to only last two years, but for under $10 that's ok.

I just leave them in my coat pocket so I always have them.

If it is really cold out I will wear these and put my hands in my coat pocket.

Go see someone who specializes in hand pain and hand surgery. In the Seattle area, Dr. William Ericson in Montlake Terrace WA has been great and helped me quite a bit. I somewhat suspect that some of my own hand issues are related to greater use of small devices like phones and tablets that I can use when lying down in bed. I have a hard time differentiating what hand pain is due to my prior life as a software engineer vs. the car accident which led to the FM vs. my change in behaviors due to the accident and FM.

Right now I'm wearing compression gloves that I got on Amazon. I think they help, as compression shirts help with my torso pain.

I initially got large compression gloves but I wasn't happy with the level of compression so I found these which were a size down. Your hands are probably smaller than mine so just search around for something with good ratings and is prime eligable.

First I got one of these:

obutto r3volution

Then I got one of these:

No more Carpal... Oh, and stretch your fingers and wrist every 60 minutes or so.

Oh, and these help too.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0106D1DCY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're thin and provide a bit of compression which helps.

180s has a sports version that works well and I sometimes put a buff or headband on top.

And for visors- some aren't so bad maybe (I hope)? I have this one - Under Armour Women's Fly Fast

I can't do the treadmill, man. I used to hate cold weather so much that I'd get a gym membership over the winter, but then I'd get back out on the road in the spring and it felt like I was starting over, like the treadmill didn't help me at all. Plus it's boring as all hell.

For when it's really cold I have a neck warmer that also covers your mouth: https://www.amazon.com/Saucony-Drylete-Neckwarmer-Black-Size/dp/B004A1EJLQ/

u/decaf47 · -1 pointsr/simpleliving

I keep a Buff around my neck. It's always there; I pull it up and blow my nose on it. I feel like I get some reactions when out in public but it's a great system and I don't care what people think. https://www.amazon.com/12-Headband-Prints-Lightweight-Constructed/dp/B00YFYO742/ref=sr_1_4?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1479563345&sr=1-4&keywords=buff
