Gosh, I bought it about 4 years ago online. Check Amazon or Wayfair. I don’t think I spent over $100 on it. It was worth the price keeping everything organized and put away. Plus, bonus: it’s off the floor and surfaces. and I don’t need another mirror!

If space is at a premium for designating some as sacred space, think verticle. Some options might be to get a corner stand like this or this. Though a floor cabinet would work well too, with the added benefit of also having storage space for your items.
Or consider a wall shelf which is common in practices like Shinto - look up "Shinto wall altar" or "kamidana" for examples though any sturdy shelf would do.
I got a tall utility cabinet from my local Home Depot. Similar to this. When I kept it in a humid basement, I kept a bucket of Damp-Rid on each shelf.

'Cabinet' is a more appropriate term in this case. I got mine at a local hardware store, but Google popped this similar model up.

If you were my friend in NYC, I'd make you an insert to slide in there, using plywood and pocketholes. Basically a big rectangle that just fits inside, and then you can dictate how many shelves or dividers, etc., based on what you want.
That's sort of what some of those shelving units would do, is just become a new "interior"

I'd check ikea's catalogue though. Cause if I remember right it was $80 directly from them, but the shipping is brutal if a store is not close by. I'm sure there is some form of equivalent if they don't make this one anymore.

I thought about doing that too! Then I figured I'm not THAT handy. I don't doubt I could rig something up. The question becomes whether I'm capable of making it look nice or not.
For what it's worth, someone else mentioned a billy bookcase. I also have one of those with the oxberg glass door. Additionally, I have a media cabinet that I got off of amazon that is deep enough for a row of 3DS games. Sadly I don't have any NES/SNES/N64/Genesis boxes to test. Whatever you end up doing, definitely post an updated pic! I'd love to see what you come up with.

I spent ALLOT of time searching for a liquor cabinet myself. I have a fairly small house with limited space. I ended up going with this one which ran around $350 My Liquor Cabinet at Colders here in WI.
I did also did allot of looking on Amazon and found that a simple search for "cabinet" yielded the best results. Here is one of my almost buys Amazon Search You can really get into narrowing by all kinds of features like color, dimensions, and material.
I would also say, make sure you watch out for shelf height. A bottle of Belveder Vodka is just under 14in. & St. Germain and some Whiskey bottles are just under that.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my fiance and 6 year old son. The place is very small to begin with but it only comes with 3 cupboards in the kitchen, 2 are being used for dishes and the other for food. It doesnt give us room so we keep most of our food in boxes in the kitchen. Now we all cant even fit in there at once and its quite embarassing when people come over, since the front door is in the kitchen.
