Everyone is completely missing the point. This man obviously knows his rafts. The River Run is one of the greatest things ever invented. Not one, but TWO CUPHOLDERS, dual handles, a rope, mesh bottom, and a separate inflatable headrest.

Edit: Link for anyone who needs a raft. Seriously, I've owned one and that's because it's the only one I ever needed. 3 summers strong. All my buddies bought them and they're fucking great.

I have 0 affiliation with this product but I saw it a few weeks ago. It helps critters in pools get to safety. https://www.amazon.com/Swimline-70200SL-FrogLog-Critter-Saving/dp/B004UHY2TY

maybe it's because the animals now think your pool is TOTALLY LAME and you're a BIG NERD.

There was a post a few years back about a ramp made to help animals that have fallen into the pool climb back out before drowning. I remember it had a funny name - The FrogLog.

Edit: found the original post

u/KimberelyG · 23 pointsr/tinyanimalsonfingers

Toadlets are so cute.

There are little mesh ramp animal-saver-things for sale (here's one on amazon) that let any small critters self-rescue when they fall in a steep-sided pool or water feature.

u/purple-puppy · 16 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I did this in 2012! I basically went the same route--white dress, neon glittery makeup. I debated between a rainbow wig vs. spraying my hair white, and ultimately went the white spray route because I thought all the rainbow wigs looked cheap and tacky. I was actually really happy with it, because my colorful neon eyes ended up being the only color in an otherwise all-white outfit, which I thought was pretty cool, but it was A HUGE PAIN to wash out, especially since it was white spray on my very black hair... it looked like I had really bad dandruff for, like, a week. For my horn, I went with this (this was before the unicorn fad made a comeback, so there weren't many good horns on the market), which I didn't love, but it worked... I think you can find a much nicer one now. Good luck!

Dog walking (minimum investment for poop bags, leashes, etc) OR flipping items on Ebay/Craigslist.

And I'm all about the 2nd one and here's why:

  • It teaches you negotiating (with little to no pressure on you) if you go to thrift stores, garage sales, etc. Though you could also go to stores and buy stuff that's 50% off and flip them for 3x the regular value - depending on the demand of the product.

  • It teaches you sales copy. You could sell the same thing as everyone else, and writing the correct sales copy can be the HUGE differentiator - I suggest Neville Medhora's Kopywriting Blog

  • It teaches you about sales and pricing (something EVERY business person struggles with. But for you it's easy. You find your item on ebay, look at how much others have sold for in the past, and depending on the condition of your item - you sell it within that range).

  • There's little to no monetary investment to start. You can start small and get bigger ticket items later, as you get smarter in the game.

  • It teaches you about presentation. It shocks me how BAD the images are for items listed online sometimes. Low light, blurry, there's crap laying around the item, it's dusty...Jeezus.

You're 15 so I'm sure you have a better aesthetic for photography and presentation than others older than you.

  • The only tools you need are a laptop and a good internet connection OR your phone.

As an example of this, I bought inflatable emoji balls from Amazon - a pack of 12 for $12. I then turned around and sold them individually for $10 each on Craigslist and eBay. Craigslist surprisingly did the best and my best customers were grandmothers buying the balls for their grandkids who went CRAZY over them.

    Who knew?...

    So $120 off of a $12 buy-in.
Doing this over and over again helped me pay off a 4-figure credit card.

Hope this sparked some ideas for you.

Under an hour drive from Charlotte, the Catawba is a good starting point but better options exist in Columbia SC or elsewhere in NC (Green River, Deep Creek, French Broad)

Floating can be a wonderful activity for hot weekends, the Catawba is pretty warm so don't expect a huge cool off.

If you want to make a go of it once or twice a year, DIY and save the $20/person charge of companies.

Some suggestions to get you started:

u/damnthatstoasty · 9 pointsr/ThingsCutInHalfPorn

Here's the link. They're discontinued IIRC, and not very good. The "clips" they use are a neat idea but it shoots a very small stream of water a very short distance.

u/DrRabbitt · 9 pointsr/Kayaking

cheapest way would be to buy some of these and a set of these

cut the foam to the width of your cars roof, then lay your yak upside down on top of them, run one strap over the front just behind your windshield and one over the back just in front of your rear window... when you tighten them they do not need to be so tight that it deforms the shape of your hull, just tight enough to keep it from sliding off... it would also be a good idea to tie a chord from the front of the kayak to your front bumper and also one from the rear of the kayak to your rear bumper

u/Qwerty_Resident · 9 pointsr/theydidthemath

An elephant weighs about 3-6.5 tons. which at the high end is roughly 5,900 kilograms

A "jumbo" pool noodle is a 55" long by 3.5" diameter cylinder; converting to centimeters is 139.7 cm x 8.89 cm, solving for volume of a cylinder (V= pi * r^2 * h) ~= 9046.03 cm^3

1 cubic centimeter of volume will support 1 gram of mass, so each of those noodles will support about 9.04 kilograms of mass, minus the weight of the pool noodle (1.6 ounces, or about 45 grams, as it turns out), so we can round down and say that each pool noodle will hold up exactly 9 kilos of elephant.

5,900 / 9 is going to leave us at about 650-ish noodles needed before I punch numbers into a calculator, and indeed the number I get is 655.55555.... so round up and make it a nice even 666 noodles to hold up that elephant comfortably.

At the low end, an Asian elephant can be as small as about 3500kg and thus would need roughly 400-ish noodles; plugging those numbers in, 3500/9 = 388.888.... so rounding up, about 400.

We just took our 15 month-old, so here are some suggestions:

  • Tiny baby pool. The waves kind of freaked out my guy, so having some water he could sit in and play in really helped. This is such a great size because it's easy to fill up quickly and very portable. https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Sunset-Glow-Baby-Pool/dp/B000I9RZOW/ref=sr_1_1

  • Toddler beach chair. My little dude really liked sitting in his own folding chair. It was a good place for him to have a snack

  • And of course, sand toys. Playing in the sand is so entertaining!!

The Orcane plush from Dan Fornace LLC is that high because those are the ones that I own, which also happen to be the only blue ones left since we only did one run of them. And there are only 20 now so I upped the price so people who really want them can grab them before they are all gone. :-o

This is what we do... A quick path is just to take the bridge into VA then on the WVa side over the last bridge hang a right toward harper's ferry and there's a little parking lot. You don't have to pay to park, but they will put an envelope on your car. You can start here if you like or end here.

If you choose to start here, there's a landing area where the rivers Ys and you can get out there and walk a bit... this tubing trip is about an hour or so.

If you use the park area as your get out spot you can go up the river a ways by river riders and launch in on the public boat launch that is right near theirs. Take a look at a map on google maps and follow the river up... We just drove our cars around and you can follow the buses to see where they put in and get out.

From where River Riders puts in on the area that's around their HQ, the ride is about 3-4 hours down to the parking spot by harper's ferry... I would say there's only one rapid that is challenging at all, but a group of 8 of us all managed to make it through just fine, and it was pretty fun.

Tubes from Amazon like River Riders has are about $18 shipped if you have Prime (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-58825E-River-Run-I/dp/B000PEOMC8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371961427&sr=8-1&keywords=river+tube)

You know those three people water balloon slingshots? example

We used to use these in neighborhood wide water balloon fights. They were banned in the neighborhood because we were putting holes in siding more than 200 yards away.

Honestly - I doubt the bullet came from a mile away as they are typically only effective for 400ish yards. But still it’s metal moving at high speeds and even water at low speeds can create havoc

u/willtel76 · 3 pointsr/pics

I've had one for about two years and it works well enough. I've only pulled a few frogs and lizards out since adding it. They aren't perfect but in my case it works. Before I got it carcass removal was a daily occurrence and reaching in for the skimmer basket was like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie.

If you've got no boat, go to the bridge at Woodland while the tide is either going in or out- not slack tide. You can get about a 1/4 bushel in a couple hours with 15 or 20 pots. I would suggest going early though as it gets crowded sometimes. Once the tide is slack, you have to wait. Poor results...

If you have a boat, and MD isn't an option, the creeks around Woodland are good, closer to the river. Try and go to about 7 feet of water (if you can) in this nasty ass heat. The crabs will be lower because there's a good amount of dissolved oxygen the colder the water gets and also because they won't be in water that's too warm. The Appoquinimink is good too.

One thing you need to know if you're in a boat though is that your floats need to be as small as possible. Delaware River tributaries have a NASTY tidal flow compared to MD, and if you have milk bottles for floats, it will pull trap doors shut or drag nets. The cheapest thing to do is to go to Walmart or the dollar store and buy noodle floats. Then cut them down to like 6 inch sections to use as floats. It's ridiculously cheap compared to using store bought floats, they last a long time, and you have less drag.

Happy hunting, and do try and post your results.

We have a tub, but Grandma's house has only showers. When my daughter was younger, she disliked the shower. Now (1.5 yrs), while she is dubious initially, once she's in she finds the spray from the detachable shower head very ticklish, and giggles through most of the shower! Maybe you can find a shower sprayer that's quieter and/or gentler? One thing I'd considered for Grandma's but never tried, was using an inflatable pool like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I9RZOW/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_UEaWub0SH89D5

Easiest way to get in that much lube is with one of those piston water guns.

Feels awesome. Very filling. A feeling that is hard to describe. I am a skinny dude, so it makes me look fat. Also, makes taking other things much easier because the lube holds things open a bit.

I've been thinking about this for a little now and this is probably how I'd approach it:

I'd get a single piece of pipe however tall you want it. The first types that come to mind are galvanized fence posts, galvanized conduit or even metal plumbing pipes. I would then use something like a 5 gallon bucket filled with cement and place the pipe in the center of it so it could cure it set up. Kind like this but as tall as you'd want it. Then I would grab something similar to this that would become the mount for each target. I would use a thumb screw and a nut through the opening so you could slide them up and down as you wish. Then grab some sort of tubing or pipe to slide over the square ends. I would make these sections about 1/4-1/3 of the length of each target then slide something like a pool noodle or pipe insulation the remaining 3/4-2/3 to be the actual contact area. It makes sense in my head so hopefully this can help.

Are your plants in bloom? I find that bees get a little drunk when they've been sucking down pollen. I put a froglog in my pool and at least it gives anything that falls in a fighting chance. Sometimes bees can even get to it if I don't scoop them out in time, which I also do when it's blooming time.

u/AdmiralBallsack · 2 pointsr/Atlanta

Depends. I tried using the shuttle once and they refused to take me since I didn't have a "dual-chambered" tube, which is bullshit. It was just their way of forcing you to rent one of their tubes if you want to ride with them. Taking 2 cars is definitely the way to go, leaving one at the exit point (Parking costs $3). If you're going to go more than once over the summer, just invest in the tube a life jacket. These are the tubes everyone buys, and buying it costs the same as renting it once. It won't help you for tomorrow, but life jackets are currently $12 on Amazon. So once you make the initial investment, it's free to go as much as you want after that.

I use a different route than what was suggested above: Start at Cochran island, 5450 Interstate N Pkwy Sandy Springs, GA 30328 and end at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area: Paces Mill
3444 Cobb Pkwy Atlanta, GA 30339. I've done a lot of tubing and this is the best route, and it's very popular. It takes 3 hours. I've never heard of being able to rent only the life jackets, but it may be possible.

I go pretty often, so let me know if you have any other questions. Oh, and here's where you check if it's safe to go, but this is only an issue if it's been raining during the week.

EDIT: I just saw an even better deal for life jackets

Admittidly we haven't used them very much yet, but I've seen lots of other people use them and they tend to be the first thing that pops up when you google "floats for tubing". Lots of Amazon reviews claim they're pretty tough and can withstand even some of the tougher rapids Again, I'm a newbie here too, but when I was looking this up last year a lot of other message boards pointed towards these.

u/tipsycup · 2 pointsr/xxketo4u2

Honestly, I am pretty damn picky when it comes to tubing. There are a lot of ways for it to go south and be less than enjoyable and I am not about that life. What I would do if I were you (and when I am me on a new-to-me river) is find a livery that does tube rentals and do that for your first time out. What that does is usually puts you on a generally slow and shallow stretch of river that has been cleared of tube popping debris, lets you see if you like it, and, if it is just you and your kids, has the bonus of picking you up and taking you back to where you put in. Then you know for the next time and you buy this or this. We have both in our small flotilla and have used them dozens of times. Some extra pro tips: clip a life jacket to at least one of them so in case you do pop a tube you still have a way to float and pick up a cheap $1 plastic paddle from Goodwill if you ever see them, they are great for pushing off of potential obstacles.

edit- OR drive 2-ish hours to u/tipsycup’s kayak and tube livery and I will handle it all for you! F-r-e-e, plus keto boat snacks!

When I was around 10 years old my friends and I had the brilliant idea to use water balloon launcher (like this: https://www.amazon.com/Launcher-400-Person-Balloon-Balloons/dp/B004FRZRZ2 ) to throw rocks about the size of a soft ball.

I loaded the thing up, pulled it back as far as I could... I really wanted this thing to fly.. and let it go. It promptly remained in the launcher at the apex where it was supposed to fly away and rebounded and released it in my direction.

It hit my chest so hard I just sat there and cried for a while. It was in pain for days and the bruise lasted weeks.

Much later, I realized that if it had been eight or nine inches higher it would have changed my life forever.

The memory of that near miss still gives me shivers today.

I HAD A GREAT TIME IN THIS TUBE
I was also admittedly drunk, but whatevs. The river was hella low, and i got stuck on some rocks several times, but this tube was like "AWW NAW HELL NAW" and i just scootched right over top of all them rocks and sticks and nonsense. The cupholders and handles were perfect for my can o' wine and my Nalgene o' Bootlegger. Not gonna lie, I threw up in the river, but I don't blame the tube. A few people had other brands of tubes, and their tubes popped, but luckily, i had brought an extra one of these already inflated. Ironically, these were the same people who were dissin on these vinyl tubes because "canvas wrapped is sooooo much better." WHERE IS YOUR CANVAS GOD NOW??

I don't know where the tubes are now, i think they might have gotten thrown into a bonfire, but if i ever feel like pukin in a river again, this will be my method of flotation. It inflated and deflated super fast, but it was bulky to carry back to the pick-up point.

Final word -- If you need a tube: BUY THIS JENK RIGHT HERE

u/onlyhooman · 2 pointsr/Mommit

Yay, so glad to hear it went well. I can't wait to camp with our little one. You mentioned bringing a kiddie pool. Do you have one yet? We got this one and it's great. Inflates pretty quick, deflates to fold up small, holds enough water to be fun for splashing. Only (small) downside is that it is absolutely covered in warning labels. Ha!

u/cobysev · 2 pointsr/AirForce

I was in Iraq in 2007 (Kirkuk) when our Wing King set up the Air Force's first Combat Dining In on our base to celebrate the Air Force's 60th birthday. It was exactly like a normal Dining In, except you wore DCUs (our regular deployed uniform at the time) instead of Blues. We started the tradition because we wanted to celebrate the AF's birthday with a formal event, but nobody brought Blues on their deployment (imagine that). So we adopted the Combat Dining In tradition from the other services. Ever since then, I've seen nothing but Combat Dining Ins everywhere I go, even at normal stateside bases. As if people are too lazy to get dressed up in their Blues for an actual formal event.

Personally, I hate them because they've changed so much from a normal Dining In. Normally, it's a formal event. You dress up in your fanciest Blues uniform, you're given a list of rules to memorize, and then you partake in a formal but fun event. Anyone who breaks the rules goes to drink from the grog bowl. (Usually a toilet bowl with a mix of any kind of drinks and other consumable liquids you can find. Typically, someone drops a Baby Ruth in it so it looks like a floating turd. Just to add to the disgusting nature of the bowl.)

At some point, someone pointed out that the rules just call for a military uniform and doesn't specify beyond that, so people started wearing their parents' old WWII uniforms, or Civil War replica uniforms, or even something as ridiculous as Roman soldier uniforms. Nowadays, people don't even expect the uniform to be legit; you make your own by sewing/tearing apart old uniforms and adding ridiculous shit to it.

Now that people are doing Combat Dining Ins all the time, the formality of the event has gone away and people wear torn up uniforms, carry around squirt guns and water balloons, and basically act like idiots. My wife just attended one a week ago and they printed deployment orders for all the attendees, data on their "deployment" that they had to memorize (location, mission, etc.) and they had to register their "weapons" and process the line like an actual deployment just to get in the front door. They also had to take part in combat training and exercises during the Dining In.

I miss the formal events. Dining Ins were a fun event where you could feel like one of the 1% for an evening. Everyone's dressed to the nines, Proper manners are expected, strict societal standards are established, and anyone who doesn't adhere to the formal rules would be punished with a drink from the nasty grog bowl. It felt like you time-traveled to the early 20th century where people wore elegant ball gowns and fancy suits to formal dinners. It was an amazing experience that you just don't see anymore, so I always loved attending Dining Ins whenever I could.

Now, the Combat Dining Ins have turned into a costume party where you're expected to walk out soaking wet. The formality is gone, the event has become "work" more than play, and you can't just sit, eat dinner, and enjoy the evening's events. I'm surprised they don't hold these events outside in an open field or something. It'd be more "combat" than a formal ball room at the enlisted/officer's club.

I haven't attended a Combat Dining In since that first one back in Iraq and I don't plan to in the near future. But for those who enjoy the event, my wife bought two Super Soaker Thunderstorms and two spare High Capacity Banana Clip Refills to wear on her belt. She bought an old BDU uniform from the Airman's Attic, tore off the sleeves, and turned one of them into a bandana with her SSgt rank sewn into the middle of it. She also bought a BDU camo sun hat which she could swap out for the bandana. And of course, camo face paint. I dunno what other alterations she made.

TL;DR - I'm an old man bitching about how Combat Dining Ins ruined the Dining In experience. Also, get off my lawn! ^Damn ^kids ^these ^days.

I agree. The key is to be professional and courteous. Have a designated event organizer, respect other people, and clean up the best you can. Have everyone stay after it's over and clean up the area on ground.

When I play airsoft, we have a rule- leave the area cleaner than it was when we got there. Sure, there are BBs everywhere if it's outdoors, but we pick up all the trash even if it was there before we got there, and we leave the site with the trash bags, putting new ones in. Even if the trash bags were full already. A public park is not very different. Don't give them a reason to want you gone and they won't ask you to go.

Ninja Edit: Also, be sure to use biodegradable balloons.

Litter issues aside, I think if you just cut a board of insulation foam, like the kind for garage doors at home depot, http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Garage-Door-Insulation-Kit-8-Piece-Garage-Door-Insulation-Kit-8-pcs/203630159
This is an 8 piece set, but they sell small panels for a few bucks. Cut out the gps shape, stuff GPS in, slivers to fill gaps. Then use a waterballoon sling shot and a couple of friends to get it into the ocean.

Camo-netting makes great shade and lets most of the wind blow through, so you're much less likely to suffer grommet failure and flapping tarp.

Attach it to something very solid on your vehicle and use something to protect your vehicle's finish if the ropes touch it (or might touch it). Some of the guys in our camp wrap the ropes in pool noodles for that reason.

mudclub is right. Don't waste valuable shade by putting a yurt under it.

u/w000t · 1 pointr/whatisthisthing

I use a weak dilution of Dr Bronner's and a heavy water gun like this. I can hit the nests on the second-floor eaves with that gun. But it uses about a quart per shot, so make a gallon or two and have the bucket handy. I keep some of the same mix in a sprayer for spraying individual bugs as needed the rest of the year.

What you could do is get a Vendetta Sword. It breaks into two swords, so then you have one for you and one for your friend. You can also try the ZombieStrike Blade, but I think it's more cost efficient to get the Vendetta Sword. Also, the Marauder Sword is no longer in production and the likeliness of finding one for a reasonable price (or 2 as you requested) is rather slim. eBay is the place to go for the Marauder Sword. You can get the Vendetta Sword on eBay. I hear it actually is quite durable.

I'm kinda happy that I got my Thunder Fury swords back in 2008 before they were put out of production for less than $20 now that I know they're up to $150 each.

Here's a link for the Vendetta Sword. Amazon probably doesn't have the best pricing, but it's an option. Do some searching. And waiting. Prices can go down if you wait with Amazon.

Heres a link to the ZombieStrike Blade, I recommend waiting to buy this, I got one for $12 not too long ago. Prices can rise or drop.. It's basically a newer version of the Vantage. Here's a better deal from Target for $12.99 each. If you're looking for 2, I'd recommend getting that. I hear Target is offering some good deals this weekend, so I'd take advantage of that if I were you.

Nerf swords typically don't have incredible durability, but they cost a hell of a lot less than many LARP swords. I recommend this site if you're looking for high quality swords. It's super expensive, though. And if you don't want to go out and buy foam and stuff to make your own, I suggest finding deals on Nerf swords. It's a cheaper and less time-consuming alternative.

See what I mean about the Marauder?. The pricing is crazy. Note: Those links were from mobile, just click to go to the main site if you're having any issues.

I'd suggest balloons but the eco hippie in me cringes at the thought of so many balloons going up into the air and then popping and falling back onto the earth. Maybe paper lanterns instead? They're biodegradable at least, and very pretty.

My week is looking up. I started out my week by having to get my car out of tow and getting my tags renewed. Very stressful. My car is old (98) so doesn't always do so well with emissions. But it passed last night and I promptly burst into tears. In front of the emissions guy. Yup....

The rest of my week is going to be very quiet and absolutely nothing is going to happen. I am going to do homework, do housework, marvel over the fact that my tomato plant is flowering and cuddle with my doxies.

Yes, definitely mass. You can get even more than from your cast iron buy placing a sheet pan at the bottom with bricks (as mentioned above) or, as in Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery, rocks and chains on it. Not that you may want to do this, but they also use a stream machine (water gun) to shoot water onto the preheated tray (at a safe distance) in order to get a ton of steam in the oven right at the start of bread baking.

Ravenclaw Door Knocker

> Without wishing to boast, this is the house where the cleverest witches and wizards live. Our founder, Rowena Ravenclaw, prized learning above all else – and so do we. Unlike the other houses, who all have concealed entrances to their common rooms, we don’t need one. The door to our common room lies at the top of a tall, winding staircase. It has no handle, but an enchanted bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. When you rap on the door, this knocker will ask you a question, and if you can answer it correctly, you are allowed in. This simple barrier has kept out everyone but Ravenclaws for nearly a thousand years.

> Some first-years are scared by having to answer the eagle’s questions, but don’t worry. Ravenclaws learn quickly, and you’ll soon enjoy the challenges the door sets. It’s not unusual to find twenty people standing outside the common room door, all trying to work out the answer to the day’s question together. This is a great way to meet fellow Ravenclaws from other years, and to learn from them – although it is a bit annoying if you’ve forgotten your Quidditch robes and need to get in and out in a hurry. In fact, I’d advise you to triple-check your bag for everything you need before leaving Ravenclaw Tower.

One thing I saw recommended and was really glad we did was to get one of these inflatable baby pools and use it as a place to set baby down for a nap without them getting all sandy or being able to crawl away. Obviously it doesn’t work for an older baby but at least until their walking.

I’ve also seen people use them as an actual pool. Like putting some water inside while at the beach...but to me that kind of defeats the purpose of the beach. I liked it a lot as a portable “bed” though.

I’d also bring an umbrella for sun.

As someone who lives in the UK, I don't enjoy the same ironclad protections that prevent the 3 letter agencies from abusing national secruity letters to spy on US citizens.

All the patriotic bullshit aside, I believe Russia would leverage/extort a private company in their jurisdiction if they thought the end result was in their national interest. I also believe the US would do exactly the same.

But I seriously doubt that the security services of either country would target a typical SMB. Lets say the American company who manufactures pool noodles uses Kaspersky. The risk of the FSK using Kaspersky to compromise their network is close to 0.

For "normal" companies, Kaspersky is a solid AV choice...you could do a lot worse. It's decent at stopping malware threats in the real world and it's central management is not horrible. That's better than most AV solutions.

If you are in that super rare breed of company that'd be an interest to a foreign nation state, then sure following this DoD advice totally makes sense.

Sorry to burst your beach ball but a 12' beach ball doesnt weigh 12 lbs. I'm assuming you saw this "12 ft beach ball" on amazon since in the specs it says it weighs 12.9 lbs. After looking at the reviews it seems like that ball actually has a 7-8 ft diameter, and the 12 ft mentioned is really just half the circumference.

The description even says 12 ft measured from pole to pole and theres a pic showing how it was measured.

I don't advocate animal cruelty, but some of these can be real pests, and I suppose water isn't the worst weapon to use against them.

I would say a battery powered blaster like this: Electro Storm might work, but if you want something that's not noisy, the Point Break blaster will work. These two blasters all have a stream that is somewhat small.

Need something with a bit more power? The Scatter blast has 5 times the number of streams as the two above, in a scattered pattern.

And finally, if you want to knock the little bastards off your balcony, go with the Shot Blast. This Super Soaker is powerful enough to temporarily blind someone when fired at close range (trust me, I know). It's available at Target stores for the most part, which is why it's so expensive on Amazon.

You shouldn't use normal cigarette filters since they will absorb the THC as it goes through so you will be wasting it. The thing about holding it in is a myth like how if you cough you get higher. You only need to hold it in for 2-3 seconds for all the psychoactives to be absorbed, anything longer than that and you start getting all the plant matter and stuff you don't want.
