I thought it was good until I found out it was the #1 response if you google 50's bathing suit

I felt bad so I tried to look it up. I think this is the one

I went on vacation recently and the person I went with gave me a bathing suit she bought on Amazon that didn't fit her because boobs. I want a million more in different patterns. There's nothing quite like finding the perfect one. I brought two others with me, and practically lived in the one she gave me for the 2 weeks we were there.

(That last part sounded gross so I'm ETA that we had washing machines lmao.)

Actually, gonna ETA to the suit in question that I love because it's flattering as fuck on all body types and I just found it. She got the Carnival one. I WANT THEM ALL.

There are so many other options though. All of them less than a third of the price, probably about comparable fast-fashion quality, and easily accessible.

Three months out, so I'm following. I didn't have any stretch marks with my singleton, but twins made my skin look like shattered glass. But I'm hopeful! And my favorite pre-maternity swimsuit was a vintage inspired one with a high waist and I'm looking forward to wearing it again.

So here are some ideas I had:

1. A deep plungle style might work for you. The plunge will accent your chest and make your shoulders look smaller as the eye will go to the plunge. It might not be the best at highlighting your waist, solely because your eye is drawn so much to the skin on display. However, the amazon one has a ton of pictures with a bunch of different girls wearing it, so you can see how it looks. Here are some more plunge that you might like. random ted baker and the one I think might look best on you. It has the plunge banded at the bottom to highlight a small waist and then the pattern going back out creating an hourglass.
   
   
2. Something with a higher neck but with a central cut out like this might as work well. The boobs and the waist line are highlighted due to where the cut out is. They can be a little racy though. Other examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (sorry, got drawn into the nordstrom site)

I just made a simple dress for my costume out of a mustard-green colored fabric. I've seen others pull it off well enough by finding (or altering) oversized plain green shirts, or buying a green dress.

I would assume for plain shirts, you can find them at your local craft store, wal-mart, target, old navy, etc. Amazon would have it also. Actually, here's a link to a dress that I remember floating around back when I was googling hat tutorials.

And I bought a huge floppy black hat so I can pretend that I am a character in mad men.

The top is modern and looks like all the bikini styles (plus has a wide band and support for my boobs that are damn out of control now), but the bottom comes up a little over my belly button. It has some kind of folding in the fabric on the bottom that really makes me look thin and hides all the junk so I can keep the illusion that I'm totally still smoking hot.


Order a size up though or it'll pinch at the top of the bottoms and give you that "busted can of biscuits" look if you know what I mean.

I just bought my first one piece off Amazon (I had a kid and I wanted something to be comfortable and feel sexy in) and the reason I bought it was because the customer review photos had EVERY shape of Woman in it and I was like "fucking SLAY IT LADIES I WANT IN ON ALL THIS"

I am also a 32ddd and it is such an amazing fit (I grab the E cup size which is equivalent to a DDD) and the back is a criss-cross tie back so you can adjust it to any tightness you want. It has underwire which is such a bonus! I’m from Canada so I’m not sure if everyone has access to a bikini village but that’s where I found this brand and I’ve also ordered one off of amazon. I love it so much I have it in multiple colours!

I got this one from Amazon. I am 26 weeks and large fits my belly and boobs. Also feels like there's room to grow without feeling too loose. It's a little loose around the legs, but it's cute. I think anything similar in style would fit a growing belly without costing an arm and a leg.

I have several cosplay friends, I would suggest either flesh tone leotards as /u/Viatrix suggested or latex skin over a bra... which will be expensive... or use a bathing suit as a base (horrific support).

Consider that you are dealing with a minimum of 1 liter of weight, and more realistically 2 liters of flesh there... It will hurt to make a plater/fiberglass support that is just glued/taped on.

Miss Mandalay have this bikini available in 32G if you like the strappy look - not cheap though! I don't know how they fit, but there are a few other Miss Mandalay ones on Amazon too.

I'm a 10 non-pregnant, a 12 at 13 weeks, and the XXL fits awesome.

So I'm on mobile so bear with me on the links. But I've had great luck with Amazon swimsuits they run small because they're all from China. I normally wear a small top and medium bottom and I always go for a medium or large suit according to the reviews.

Same question! A halter type suit, like this one or this one might be fine, but if OP needs shoulders covered, then a rash guard is probably the best option.
