Crest 3D White Luxe Whitestrips $29.50. Not a make up product, but I can't rock a bold lip with stained teeth and I drink a lot more red wine and coffee than I should. Apparently they can often be found cheaper on Amazon.

And what look is complete without an $11 Golden Grill?

Edit: Updating as I go.

wow thx <3 <3 <3

But honestly, literally anyone can be attractive. If that's a major roadblock for you to improve your social skills, do soemthing about it; give yourself a makeover! Following is subjective, I guess, but..

Get a good haircut. 90% of the time, that just means "short on the sides, longer on top". LookAfter on green is really good. You could probably just be like "yo hook me up" and they can give you something trendy. Put this in your hair. Shower in the morning, and blowdry it instead of letting it air dry.

Revamp your wardrobe. Get tighter clothes. A pair of these will get you far. If you can button them without causing lots of physical pain to yourself, they aren't too tight (and they will stretch). Try to avoid washing jeans in the washing machine. If you do, air dry them. If your jeans fit well, chances are they won't after you run them through the dryer.

Stay away from gym shoes. A pair of black and a pair of white vans will take you a long way.

Stay away from overusing graphic tees. Grey is a great colour that looks good on everyone. Black and other dark colours are good too. Sweatshirts usually look p good as long as they are a tight fit. Henleys are easy and lit too.

Stay away from cargo shorts. Tight, coloured, mid-thigh shorts are "in" and look better. Looser but still short & thin neutral-coloured shorts are ez too. Especially for spring/summer.

Most of the stuff from Express, H&M, Zara, sometimes A&F, etc. is good.

Qt, bold briefs/boxer briefs from calvin klein, aussiebum, etc. are lit too. People won't often see them, obviously, but it's an easy confidence boost.

Don't discount the importance of being confident. Milo Yiannopoulos isn't actually that attractive, but he is 110% confident, so he tricks you into adding like 4 points. Fix your posture. Sit up straight, stand up straight w/ your shoulders back. Your body will feel better, and you will come off much more confident. Body language is important. The same is true about smiling more, etc.

Take care of your teeth. Crest Whitestrips can save your life if you are a soda/coffee drinker. Floss twice a day, maybe get a tongue brush.

Keep your body hair under control with one of these and a decent razer. Another thing that people only will see if you wear like a real deep v-neck or unbuttoned Henley or when you are sexing, but a confidence booster nonetheless.

Keep your hygiene up to par. Shower often, wash thoroughly (a loofah or washcloth is a good investment) with some kind of good-smelling body wash, wear deodorant, and get some kind of cologne that isn't axe (one of the < $30 ones from Amazon is fine). Also, idk why straight boys often don't wash their butthole, but wash your butthole.

Take care of your skin. This will save your life. If you have acne and that doesn't work well enough, invest in a proactiv subscription or something. You will look and feel much better. Don't be afraid of concealer to cover up some particularly egregious blemishes. Idk anything about makeup brands, but something like this (except that matches your skin tone) is great because it doubles as a mild acne treatment. This (or any spray product with Salicylic acid) will help immensely if you have body acne.

Get in shape. You will look and feel better! You sound like you don't have much time to go to the gym, which is fine. Muscly, skinny and toned, or super skinny are all "trendy" looks. Just avoid dad bod. Skinny can be achieved just through diet and optionally doing body weight exercises at home (crunches, pushups, etc.) or getting a pair of weights. Most importantly, make sure the fit of your clothes matches your body. All of those 3 benefit from snug fits. Dad bod "benefits" from a looser fit, but that's because your clothes are trying to hide your body shape rather than accentuate it, hence why it isn't ideal.

Before interviews/career/fairs/going on a date/whatever other important event, max all this out. Aside from looking good, you will feel good, and you will have a much easier time being confident. When talking to recruiters, especially during the interview, I find that when you feel good about yourself, nerves dissipate hardcore to the point where even when you are stuck, you don't really get that sinking feeling in your stomach. Smile and nod a lot, sell yourself with your strong, confident energy. If you seem like a fun person to work with (and look at), that can make up for a lot of your "faults".

I got all of my interviews that I got at the Expo this year wearing shorts and flip-flops (went during lunch break at work, so didn't have time to change). Just be a chill, happy, and humble dude/dudette, but own the fact that you feel good about yourself. Ppl dig that, especially when a lot of kids are in the same situation you are (ie. don't feel attractive or comfortable talking to people, or their whole life is just academics).

Edit: Oops also do your eyebrows and keep your facial hair in check.

u/sr90at405 · 7 pointsr/goth

Not black enough. Honestly, do you people not know how to make "goth" food yet? Activated charcoal. Or squid ink. Or put anything on top of some forbidden rice and call it a day. 10/10 would try again. In the case of ice cream, I'd use activated charcoal.

theres a lot. i think i got this one. should last you a long ass time if you use a cotton swab and apply it directly to your teeth instead of pouring it into the molds.

I had a routine when I first got them. But after about 2 months I gave up...
My routine now is
Morning: waterpik, brush, mouthwash
I don’t brush after every meal
Night: waterpik, brush, mouthwash
And about twice a week I’ll use charcoal powder...

What I use:
•Pursonic S625 Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush and Rechargeable Water Flosser with 12 Brush Heads https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BE3I968?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
•Active Wow Teeth Whitening Charcoal Powder Natural https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8XF244?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
• Colgate total whitening
•Colgate total clean mint
•Colgate Optic White
• Listerine Cool Mint

u/shakennotstirred44 · 5 pointsr/weddingplanning

I got Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips and have been gradually using them in the months leading up to the wedding. I have noticed a difference, but you definitely should use all of them for the best results.

I had my bachelorette last weekend so I used one of the 2 "Express Whitening 1 Hour Treatments" that is included, and definitely got a bit of extra zing from it - however, I did feel a little sensitivity the next day, but nothing crazy.

I'm assuming you use your right hand for your mouse?

Get something like this (https://www.amazon.de/Wireless-Vertikale-Ergonomische-Optische-Ergonomic/dp/B00FGI2QVC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1466409218&sr=8-1&keywords=horizontale+maus) or a track ball.

Read up on ergonomics at the workplace in general. You'll have to adjust, but you'll be fine. Good luck!

I stopped using white strips a while back and now completely use Charcoal powder. There's not peroxide so you shouldn't have those bleaching spots. This one is great from Amazon

If you legit want to whiten your teeth use something like this stuff, which is what a dentist or orthodontist will likely use. You will of course need some kind of dental tray or retainer to hold it against your teeth.

Consumer grade "whitening" toothpastes and mouthwash are pure marketing.

u/eventhestarsburn · 3 pointsr/BravoRealHousewives

I have a powder from Amazon. I think it's this one.

I didn't use a ton all at once so maybe it wasn't as damaging, but like I said, my teeth are in pretty good shape so I'd only use it periodically just to prevent damaging them!

u/usatoday · 3 pointsr/IAmA

So, here's the thing with charcoal toothpaste. People LOVE it, but it's super abrasive and might not be good to use (we do not test anything for medical- or health-related claims). I've spent a LOT of time at the dentist over the last year and a half (I literally go to a dental school once a week to get work done because my teeth are a mess and I'm finally taking charge of my dental health) and I overhear dental students talking all the time about how bad it is for teeth. So, maybe check with your dentist first if you still want to try it? That being said, if you are still gung-ho for charcoal, ActiveWow is easily the most popular option and it has a 20% coupon today (but please consider your decision carefully! teeth are so important!): https://www.amazon.com/Active-Wow-Whitening-Charcoal-Natural/dp/B01N8XF244/ - Samantha

Buy this:

https://www.amazon.ca/Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-Optical-1600DPI/dp/B00FGI2QVC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472922590&sr=8-1&keywords=ergonomic+mouse

I usually use gaming mice so am used to nice smoothness and what not and this still physically feels good. The clicking takes a bit more pressure than I would prefer but I've been using it for nearly two weeks. It's surprisingly good and feels great. I got one for work too. It's my new 24/7 mouse. All pain was gone very very shortly after switching.

u/throwtutaway · 3 pointsr/malegrooming

I use the same one, but I buy it straight from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00147X6DQ/

u/human_uber · 3 pointsr/malehairadvice

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEBV0HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WWSExbY18SGT4 - here's one off Amazon that's under $20.00.

I think that if you get your teeth whitened and ask for some advice on a skincare subreddit (your skin isn't bad at all, I just think you've got a great starting point) you could really have something pretty special going on. You are not traditionally handsome at all but your facial features are so strong that I think it's quite a striking look.

I also agree with the other guys here - your hair is good. I would definitely try the short sides and back (undercut). If you doesn't work then it should only take a few months to grow out.

u/RehRomano · 3 pointsr/gis

I'll add to this: spend the $30 for a vertical mouse to save your arm/shoulder/back. The standard office mouse is terrible for posture.

u/TheFNG · 3 pointsr/steroids

I use this and this. Great results, from what I understand its the same stuff they use at dentists offices.

u/TristiePixie · 3 pointsr/MtF

Thanks, I'm super glad I can help! :D Yep, I don't even get it wet. I put my hair up and wash my body only, about every 2 days. I get my hair wet and deep condition every two weeks, emphasis on strands not scalp. Over washing will dry you the fuck out. You may be greasy at first, but your body adapts when it realizes you aren't trying to rip off all the oil it produces - which it produces to protect itself. I have dry thick hair on top of that. Here's all the products I use, including face and body soap. The green one is heat protectant spray to prevent heat damage when curling or blow drying, only to be applied after showering while hair is wet. In the background you can also see Hydrocortisone cream, which i apply to any redness or rashes or bumps that appear anywhere on my body. (Was essential for the itchy skin phase at month 2.) Also not pictured is my Aveeno body lotion which I apply all over my body and face anytime after washing or shaving. Everything in your life should be sensitive skin and hydrating.

  • Go to a GOOD salon. Don't do a Super Cuts at the mall. You get what you pay for. My haircuts are $200-300. And don't be afraid to splurge on REAL human hair tape extensions at a top salon if your hair is too short or thin!! The results and dysphoria reduction is totally worth it and you won't be able to tell your own hair from the extensions. It's like an effective surgery.

  • Avoid dying your hair regardless of the salon. I keep my hair 100% natural so it is always super healthy and looks great. Your color is you! Wear it proudly! Make it work!

  • Put your hair up in braids at night. Helps to prevent tangles and gives it waves. Also braids are hot and great to practice and get good at. You can also braid your hair when damp and slightly blow dry and then sleep on them. You'll have waves in the morning. I don't do this often as I don't get my hair wet often and I tend to avoid tension when my hair is wet to prevent breakage.

  • Do not brush or comb your hair when wet! That is when it is at its weakness. Think of wet paper. Blow dry it after applying heat spray and as it dries brush gently.

  • Be gentle. Every broken or lost hair is years of hard work gone. Hold a funeral for every hair lost.

  • Avoid campfire smoke, cigarette smoke, weed smoke, smog pollution, rain, intense sun or heat, weird smells, put hair up and away if cooking to keep smell and smoke out of it, avoid sleeping on sand paper, CHLORINE HOLY FUCK DON'T SWIM IN POOLS OR THE OCEAN WITHOUT HAIR CAPS! Obviously you can be bad and do these things every now and then. I mean, you should have a life! Just don't do them every week. It's like dessert.

  • Perform this ritual every night. You'll need an umbrella.

  • Finally, remember to sing this incantation.

    Other essentials:

  • Silk Pillowcase (Essential, you lay on your hair for half the day!! Friction = Fizz, dryness, breakage! The more silk in your life the better.)
  • Waist Trainer (Only the ones with 25 spiral felixboning supports!! The fabric ones aren't nearly as good. As I've written elsewhere in this thread, I wear it 5-8 hours a day, went from a 27" to a 23" waist or a M to an XS. Needs to be replaced bi-monthly. You will break it and it will stretch over time.)
  • Teeth Whitening Kit (Which, fun fact, depending on how sensitive your teeth are, you can literally continuously to bleach them treatment after treatment in the same day to get them crazy white. But stop if it hurts too much!)
  • Extra safe hair brush (It's for extensions and meant to be super gentle, but holy smokes it's wonderful for natural hair too which you also don't want damaged!)
  • A Cat (Helps confirm you have boobs. Pretty sure purrs and kneading are magical kitty kisses that make them grow. Naming your boobs such as "Angelina" and "Jolie" in my case will also give them the inspiration they need to grow up big and strong and ready to be motorboated by the person of your choice.)

    Hope this helps! <3

Crest 3D Whitestrips, it's about £45 including shipping but you won't regret it, it works unlike what's available in the UK due to EU regulations.

£20 will get you nothing both here and stateside.

u/dental_hygenius · 2 pointsr/Dentistry

Just FYI, great prices on gel refills can be had over at Amazon.

u/greyflcn · 2 pointsr/keto

Buy a box of those Crest whitening strips, and use them regularly.

I've noticed a pretty significant difference in shade of my teeth because of it.

u/voodo186 · 2 pointsr/AskReddit

http://www.amazon.com/Crest-White-Advanced-Whitestrips-28-Count/dp/B001OOLLVS - I would use these along with a pre-brush listerine whitening mouth wash and a crest 3D white toothpaste, advanced vivid will work better. Also, if you're willing to take the extra time and spend the extra money, a good electric toothbrush will work wonders! With the strips just be sure you don't leave them on too long, or your teeth will be brutally sensitive. Hope this helps!

u/BigJewFingers · 2 pointsr/Bass

Stretch! Take a 5 minute break every couple hours of work to stretch. Make sure to get your neck, shoulders, chest/armpit area, wrists/forearms, and hands

Working on your grip/forearm strength will make a huge difference as well

Oh, and I recommend a vertical mouse if you don't have one already: https://www.amazon.ca/Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-Optical-1600DPI/dp/B00FGI2QVC

If you're mostly using the keyboard, a mechanical keyboard can help too.

TOOTHBRUSH

This is the electric toothbrush I use and recommend: Sonicare Flex Care Plus. It is cheapest at Costco but comes in a pack of 2. It's important to replace the brush head every 3-4 months. Sonicare now has a subscription service to automatically send you a new brush head when it's time to replace, or you can buy the brush heads when you need them; they come out to approx $9 each on amazon but you can get 6 for $50 at Costco and they oftentimes have a $10 instant rebate. If you need to use a manual toothbrush, I recommend the Nimbus manual toothbrush. These Wisps are really handy when you can't brush after eating.

FLOSS

The floss I recommend is Dr. Tung's Smart Floss and you can use this  Floss Holder to make it easier to use. (Amazon only sells the floss in packs of 3 or 6 so if you want to purchase a single pack you can find it at Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, or Sprouts.) A Waterpik can also be a great tool, this one is a Handheld Waterpik and is more convenient to use. You can use it in the shower and it takes up less counter space.

TOOTHPASTE/MOUTHWASH

This Crest Gum and Sensitivity  paste is one of my favorites and I like Act Total Care mouthwash. When choosing a toothpaste or mouthwash, look for "sodium fluoride" as an active ingredient.  It's best to stay away from mouthwashes with alcohol in them and whitening/charcoal pastes because the abrasives in them can damage the teeth. If you use a whitening rinse with hydrogen peroxide, only use it 2-3 times per week to avoid making the gum tissue sensitive. Other than that, whatever you prefer is just fine.

WHITENING

For an inexpensive whitening treatment Crest White Strips are a good option.

A couple good cheaper options are crest whitening strips: https://www.amazon.com/Crest-Glamorous-Whitestrips-Whitening-Treatments/dp/B001OOLLVS

Another thing i've heard of is a customized whitening kit called shines: https://getshines.com/

Also theres a bunch of home remedy things such as rubbing bananas or orange peels on your teeth. Also mixing baking soda and water together and brush your teeth with it.

u/inbettywhitewetrust · 2 pointsr/beauty

Not OP, but thanks for the rec and thorough answer; I didn't know they have them available with a higher percentage of bleach at dentists' offices! To anyone who's interested, Amazon has a $5 off coupon for these at the moment

u/Schoffleine · 2 pointsr/AskMen

I've tried those and feel I wasted money. They wouldn't stick to my teeth hardly at all and I just sat there for the allotted time (15 minutes IIRC) hypersalivating and trying to keep them aligned correctly. I finished the pack and had the same problem each time. Made no difference to the color of my teeth either. :(

u/onliandone · 2 pointsr/buildapcforme

$1500 is not really the budget for a 144Hz build. You can get a PC that plays those games and you can also get a 144Hz display, but it won't be a PC that is suited for 144 FPS in new games. But in older games it will work, so maybe that is okay for you.

With https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824160177 as display. That will leave you enough money to get a keyboard like https://www.amazon.ca/Redragon-KUMARA-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B016MAK38U and https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-CH-9301011-NA-Harpoon-Backlit-Optical/dp/B01M9DDCKD as mouse. Step down to a 60Hz display if it gets too expensive.

But you maybe should experiment with ergonomic mouses instead. https://www.amazon.ca/Anker-Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-Optical/dp/B00FGI2QVC/ is one common form, https://www.amazon.ca/M618BU-Optical-Ergonomic-Vertical-Connector/dp/B00AYXUIO6/ goes a bit further (and wow, that's cheap). They aren't necessarily great for shooters, but for slower games they work well, and the second one especially is great as soon as you are used to it.

There are also ergonomic keyboard. With mechanical keyboards you have to consider that the keys can be harder to press (for the Redragon one that is actually unlikely). That can be good or it can be bad, depending on the user.

Next RAOA trend will be charcoal toothpaste!

u/Passwordkm · 2 pointsr/Invisalign

So my ortho actually complimented me yesterday on how clean my trays still were as I took them out in her office. I’ve just been using these cleaning tablets I bought on amazon: Retainer Shield antibacterial cleaning tablets and when I’m about to pop my trays back in, I squirt one pump each of this whitening/breath freshening foam in each tray: EverSmile Whitefoam. When I’m out and about I just use a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Oh, and don’t forget to brush your tongue!! My breath/trays smell HORRID if I forget to clean my tongue especially before going to sleep. I hope this helps!!

u/iLeicaMike · 2 pointsr/Denton

If you have Amazon you can get a good kit for about $30. I use this one, and it works reasonably well. Takes a bit more time to get the same level of white that I got at the dentist (about 2 weeks, rather than 1 appointment), but it also didn't cost me $200.

I also paid a little extra to buy the "remineralization gel", which really just keeps your teeth from being super sensitive after you bleach (which did make a big difference for me, but my teeth are a little sensitive anyway).

u/cantstopmenoww · 2 pointsr/malegrooming

I'm actually in the middle of working on this myself. I was planning to eventually do a before and after post with pics and process (is this the best sub for it?).

What got me started was this comment:
http://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/xn5bf/have_whitening_toothpastes_improved_measurably_in/
tl;dr: "The only thing proven absolutely to work is high concentration (10%+) of carbamide peroxide gel."

So I got on Amazon and bought 10% carbamide peroxide gel (http://amzn.com/B00337PCO6 - $20
(free shipping)) and 6-pack of trays (3 sets) (http://amzn.com/B0042SV17C - $18.50 (free shipping)).

I also bought straws for work to drink my daily coffee. So, in total, here's what I'm doing as part of my teeth whitening attempt:

  • try to use the carbamide peroxide gel often, working out to be about once every other day, for as long as I can.
  • brush regularly, alternating between regular toothbrush and Sonicare on each brushing (this is clearly more superstitious than logical. I mostly am worried I'll wear out the Sonicare brush head and half to go buy more.)
  • drink coffee and soda through straws to avoid staining my teeth

After about a week, I feel like I'm seeing some meager results. If I use up all the carbamide 10% and think there's still room for improvement, I'll probably get this 2-pack of 10ml sticks of carbamide 22%: http://amzn.com/B000W8M0VW ($14 + free shipping)

I also am very tempted to put some effort into getting a little more sun, so my skin has a little more color. I know from past experience that the contrast will make the teeth seem whiter.

Also, the trays linked above...they work OK. Read some of the reviews, practice a couple times first, then be very careful to dip them in the boiled water for 2-3 seconds, NOT 3-4. I'm very tempted to look for some kind of dental training college and see if I can get better trays made relatively cheaply, because I think that would make the carbamide time a little easier to do.

I would suggest drinking coffee with a straw if possible, I still drink sugar free red bull and sometimes gatorade with my aligners in but I don’t feel as bad if I use a straw. Also, my boyfriend does zyn. Off topic but how do you like it compared to snus or dip if you tried it? I approve of it bc it’s not tobacco. Anyway, I always brush and floss my teeth after my meals and I’m good to go. Also, pro tip, when I wake up in the morning (bc these aligners hold some stank in) I use this https://www.amazon.com/WhiteFoam-Clear-Retainer-Cleaner-ClearCorrect/dp/B07BRNCC8W/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=WAN4CXF1MV1JFJFR5N2V . A little pricey but helps with the smell and keeps them clean/white. Good luck!
Edit: I’m sure there are alternative cheaper aligner cleaners but this is the one I use and love

I've used diluted white vinegar to dissolve some of the crud, then a toothbrush bought specifically for cleaning my appliances (your regular one will have toothpaste still in it, which will scratch your appliance).

These days, I use Whitefoam and that's been pretty good. Looking at that page, there are now competing brands available in the States. This particular brand has OrthoFoam in grape (same ingredients), but I've only ever tried the mint one and find it quite pleasant.

I ordered boil-to-fit trays off Amazon.

Someone said the 35% is too rough and <20% trays take too long to get the results in the reviews.

Only americans think/care about having white teeth. You need to travel, nobpody cares what your teeth look like.

But since you asked you can get an at home whitening kit that the same ones the dentists use for like $20 on amazon. Works great.

More economical version of the white strips.

For reference, I believe the strips are something like 5-10%.

These trays mold to your teeth.

Hahaha thanks :D

I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Song-Professional-Whitening-Applicator/dp/B00DQ31IUO

You gotta use Sensodyne toothpaste with it though and be careful because your teeth get incredibly sensitive to hot/cold if you whiten them with it too much. This stuff is potent as fuck but will maximize your teeth gains SUPER fast.

One of my favorite qualities is my hair. However, I loved it even more when I started using this. It's really lightweight, and I just spray it on after I get out of the shower. It's heat activated, so it almost encourages me to blow dry my hair instead of just leaving it to air dry when I'm lazy.

My sister introduced this sunscreen to me. It doesn't smell like sunscreen and it blew my mind how it felt like nothing was on. I'm really bad at remembering to put sunscreen on, so this is super important now that I've started running. Can't get sun damage already!

This sounds really weird, but I might be a little addicted to teeth whitening. I almost do it whenever I get bored, so I'm almost Ross from "Friends" level. Seriously. I'm scared they are gonna be glow-in-the-dark soon.

PS you sound beautiful already so ROCK. IT.

Here are two items I can't pick between! Sorry! Water bottle and armband

Not sure about the penguin mouses, but my mom used this kind for a long time because she had bad wrists and loved it. Dunno how well it would work for gaming though.

Worst case scenario though, almost all companies that sell mice will take an open return if you don't like it.

I tried the charcoal whitening and it worked for me. You just dip your toothbrush in charcoal powder and brush like you normally would. My teeth aren’t yellow but had a “yellow-ish” color but after using that for a week I’ve noticed a tremendous difference. It’s all natural so won’t cause any damage to your teeth or enamel like some whitening methods.

Best of luck!

Klar. Sowas hier. oder das hier. Habe beide im Einsatz. Haben beide Vor- und Nachteile; ich komme mit beiden gut zurecht.

Does anyone have any experience with ergonomic/vertical mouse? I have pain in my right wrist for a couple of months now and it hurts a little when I hold a mouse in my hand. The only one I ever tried was this microsoft one but I was hoping to find something a little less expensive (the mouse alone is ~€40). I've found this one (and a few more that look identical) for half the price but I've never tried anything like it (there are multiple brands with basically identical looking mice with slightly different specs). Reviews overall seem fine.

Note that I want to use it at work, not for gaming.

I use a product called WhiteFoam Clear Retainer Cleaner, basically its a foam you put in your tray after you brush your teeth/ trays. I have been using it for 4+ months now and I am seeing a difference. The best part is that it works under the attachments to whiten as well since it has hydrogen peroxide. In about a month I will be getting the first round of attachments off so I will see if there is any color contrast from where they were but I am optimistic.

Hi I know you probably don't like talking about work away from work but I was wondering if you could answer a question for me.

I recently bought this toothpaste https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WRS71N8/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_cb83BbA8D53Y3 because I thought it would be better for my overall tooth health. My current tube is almost out and was debating on repurchasing.

Considering this is pricier than your average toothpaste I'd like a professionals insight before I rebuy.

Anker makes really good products and they have 2 versions below $30

Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, 800/1200 /1600DPI, 5 Buttons - Black for $29.99 and free shipping with Prime.

Anker Ergonomic Optical USB Wired Vertical Mouse 1000/1600 DPI, 5 Buttons CE100 for $22.99 and free shipping with Prime.

If there's one brand I trust a lot for cables, dongles, chargers and charging banks, it's Anker. Their customer service is phenomenal.

u/some_asshat · 1 pointr/DIY

"Activated charcoal" is supposed to help with that. I can't vouch for it, but some people apparently swear by it. Here's a cheap example, the reviews might be helpful, though my default position is they're probably spam.

I bought some of this, but IMO it's kind of gross to use.

u/xtoplasm · 1 pointr/Advice

This stuff right here is magic on your teeth and some people have photos to prove it. I like to mix it with my toothpaste by opening the back end of the tub and stirring it. https://www.amazon.com/Active-Wow-Whitening-Charcoal-Natural/dp/B01N8XF244/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1537676149&sr=8-3&keywords=charcoal+teeth+whitening

u/trashlikeyourmom · 1 pointr/AskWomen

I use these. I use them every other day instead of every day to make sure my teeth don't get sensitive.

u/4zen · 1 pointr/todayilearned

If you want the best solution do what I did:

Get custom trays made at your dentists office. This will run you probably $60.

Buy OTC whitening solution online. I use This.

Cheaper than getting it done at the dentist. Works better than white strips.

u/two_of_us · 1 pointr/amiugly

Meh, pretty average. I used these whitening strips in 03/2012 when I got my braces, when I got them off in 06/2012 my teeth were still just as white as when I first used the strips. Give it a shot, yellowed teeth are not attractive at all.

u/merinosweater · 1 pointr/LifeProTips

Replace soda/tea with water.
Swish coconut oil around your mouth for ~5 minutes.
Use Opalescence. It's what dentists use.

u/worksafeaccount9 · 1 pointr/Thailand

Possibly too late to the party, but 2 rounds of crest whitestrips type product back to back should yield the same results as the fancy 'zoom' whitening you see everywhere here and in N. America. Takes a month to complete (each round is 2 weeks), but if you're looking for 'on the cheap', can't get much cheaper than this.

https://www.amazon.com/Lovely-Smile-Premium-Line-Whitening/dp/B01B1X3I1W/ref=sr_1_8_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1505882858&sr=8-8&keywords=whitestrips

Other than that, there are plenty of places here in LOS that will do the whole zoom thing for 2.5-3k baht. Fair warning, your teeth will hurt like a motherfucker for about 3 days after, and drinking anything not lukewarm (cold or hot) will be close to unbearable (put a damper on my last few days in Thailand last time I did it here, hence the whitestrip alternative)

Source: I'm also an ex smoker. The strips were recommended to me by my dentist friend, after complaining about the toothaches when I went the zoom route previously.

To answer your question, I don't know much about it. But thought I could share which helped me.

u/enkrypt0r · 1 pointr/lifehacks

Is this the kind you're talking about? I've always wanted to try these, but I never know what works and what doesn't, and I hate wasting money.

u/buster_boo · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Mine stay fairly on the white side, but I also enjoy coffee, wine, and cigarettes.

So I just get [these Crest Whitestrips] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005TI7EWK/ref=pd_aw_sims_6?pi=SY115) but only use them here and there instead of the full treatment.

I cannot imagine how badly my teeth would hurt if I did that.

Edit: Also, blue-based red lipstick helps, but I don't think that is quite your style :)

u/Steelersgirl20 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This whitening gel works pretty well. It also really, REALLY stings if you're not used to it.

u/adversedeviant · 1 pointr/IWantToLearn

You can get professional grade teeth whitening kits on amazon for way cheaper than at the dentist but its the same exact thing. I bought this for $50 and you get it, make your teeth mold, and send it back in and a few weeks later you have a custom mold for your teeth. You can then buy 35% teeth whitening gels here and dont forget mineralizing gel here. Theres no real directions on how much to use but use very little gel (it burns on the gums) and I used it for 30-45 minutes a day for a week. Worked really well. Thats definitely the best you can get at home and its not that expensive. Just be careful not to bleach to much, if you start to see grey on your teeth then stop whitening. This is professional grade stuff and can destroy your teeth. Also you can go to one of those teeth whitening places and they have UV rays that are less painful but expensive.

tl;dr you can buy custom teeth molds and professional bleach for teeth and its way better than the crest crap and under 100$

EDIT: Ive read a lot of bad ideas in here. Dont put pure peroxide, baking soda, or lemon juice on your teeth. Too much for too long can do permanent damage to your enamel. Read this to see bad ideas.
