I've bought them for so many people as gifts. They are great on avocados too!

This is the one I have.

Also, love your username!!

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Companies keep making useless shit b/c people will throw money at it (not you OP, you said it came w/ some other stuff). Why not just use a damn alpine draw like a normal person? Same goes to specialized personal anchors - when was the last time you saw a professional climber using a PAS?

Edit: Looks like I found a fairly unpopular opinion. I personally am the type of climber that brings the bare minimum when I climb. If I have something on my harness that can have multiple uses, I will use that instead of bringing something extra. Analogy: why would I use a contrived tomato scoop when I can use my damn knife?

That's an apple cut in halves. This is what you need to slice one.

Hmm, sounded interesting, but not available anymore. Knife #1, Knife #2, and Knife #3 all look similar. Did you try cutting with it after or before sharpening? The big complaint is that it isn't sharp, so it might do better after sharpening. I don't mind a bit of a project, and I have a full metal shop and wood shop that I think I can use to work on knives.

There are tomato knives...

Edit: I’m adding a link, sorry for being lazy.

Edit 2: They are all thin like that with huge serrations
