I'm 99% sure this restaurant is Masti in Atlanta. They serve fried far far in little silver dishes like this. They might be shaped in tubes, or a little stars like this:

This jerky because it’s individually wrapped and only 50 cals per pack

My office has a few healthy snacks in the kitchen that I stash at my desk for munchy days:

Eda-Zen Cruncha ma-me Edamame Veggie Snack, Lightly Seasoned

SkinnyPop Popcorn

Apples or bananas with almond butter

Trader Joe’s lightly salted almonds

u/UghWhyDude · 8 pointsr/AskMen

That's because it is.

If you get the chance, try this as well. If you're bananas for bananas, you'll wonder where these have been all your life.

u/robogaz · 6 pointsr/Honduras

some latino-based supermkts have a drink thats sold here... The drink is called Banana Tropical. Its awesome. Add platain chips called Zambos... (I didnt know they were made in El Salvador.. anyways) and youre good to go. This combo right here.... takes you wayyyy back.... including folks 40+ yrs old. It works with kids 5+ too, so dont worry.

You might say.. .well wtf they eat everything plantains and banana... .not exactly true. Its the taste an the feeling. Believe me.

Warning: Dont buy Long necked bottles as they are mexican. No pun intended. So no fanta-banana or anything resembling it.

It has to be like the one in the picture I provided: "Tropical" bottle. Yes its glass.

Edit and some walmart/amazon links: Another picture of the bottle. Anyways you can cut some corners and ge a coke and some similar chips1 chips2 chips3 chips4

Edit#2: Some [other online store form NYC] (https://www.zocalofoods.com/collections/snacks-honduras).

I bought a few bags of these and they last fprever, and taste amazing!

u/armednblonde · 5 pointsr/nutrition

If you live in the US these are really yummy and better for you than Mcdonalds. A bag is 45g protein and 450 calories. Bags are around $4 or less, at least where I live.

Are you trolling or just stupid?

u/zxcv437 · 3 pointsr/MealPrepSunday

I do the same thing, I'm looking for a change too, I'm currently hauling protein bars and fruit in a small messenger bag.
bars
veggie chips
Bananas
Apples
Clementines
Celery and carrots

As well most cured meat would be okay, like salami and hams, if you like cold cuts

I'm cutting weight though so I may be biased

u/macafeeny · 3 pointsr/weightwatchers

Hi! I’ve recently rejoined and am also trying to stick to mainly plant based (transitioning to Whole food plant-based but not there yet).
On a daily basis, snacks consist of a lot of fruit, but I’ve also picked up mini pitas from aldi to dip in pb2 when I’m wanting something more substantial (5 pitas for 3 points) and Enlightened makes these little bean snacks for 2 points that really hit the salty cravings!

u/HermesLurkin · 3 pointsr/veganketo

For snacks, I like these broccoli “chips”. For cooking ingredients that I can’t find in my local stores, I just ordered this sugar-free Nutella to add to my chia pudding, and this keto maple syrup to experiment with some mug cakes.

If you're using myfitnesspal app check out the "nutrition" section, then tap on "macros." That'll show you your macros based on your height/weight. I'm a 5'5" woman and it recommends 23 grams of protein on a 1200 diet. You can also customize and set your own goals if you wish.

It really does help! I've been eating more cheese, almonds and little dry-cured chicken sausages to supplement when I'm low on protein, cheese also has a nice amount of fat too. (Make sure you weigh it though!)

Also these little beauties if you can find them: https://www.amazon.ca/Simply7-Quinoa-Chips-Cheddar-3-5-Ounce/dp/B00GNXVBP6

These have something like 7 grams of protein per 130 cal serving and they're freaking delicious to boot. You could just eat Quinoa for a better nutritional package, these are just one of the best high-protein snacks I've ever found. I'm in Canada and found them at bulk barn.

u/redditUser3301 · 3 pointsr/vegan

Protein powders, though I don't bother with it anymore after researching protein needs(look up some vegan body builders on youtube). Youll have to order this online.

Gardeins Crispy Tenders and Chik'n Strips are where its at. The strips work well in enchiladas, chicken wraps, etc (I usually toss the sauce packet out).

Bocas Chik'n patties are really good chicken patties.

You should be able to find those chickn products in grocery stores. Good luck!

Bonus: Follow Your Heart mozarella cheese. Great for everything you want cheese on. Avoid daiya is my suggestion blech.

My wife cooks from Hotforfood recipes, pretty bomb. I would look there for recipe ideas.

I think the easiest thing is to just keep it simple. Veggies and hummus are some of my favorite. These are really delicious if you like a good crunch. I also recommend this but only if you buy them in the store. The amazon price is totally ridiculous.

u/Shibakaze · 2 pointsr/EatCheapAndHealthy

You can get them roasted or freeze dried!

u/darcudmore · 2 pointsr/vegan

Here's some new vegan sunflower chips I'm a fan of.

These are Fiery Sriracha and might tickle your Spicy tastebud :)

Veggie Straws, Snapea Crisps, Matcha green tea, Various Fruits and Veggies, Occasionally a Diet Soda, Low fat Popcorn, It often varies on what sounds good the night before when I am prepping.

I would like these to take to work and keep there as a snack. I don't gets breaks most days so it's nice to have something easy to munch on.

Thanks for the contest!

Yes this! I don't feel a huge amount if guilt when I eat bad to the point that it makes me faulter.

Also I found these. Each bag is 100 calories and it satisfies my salty potatoe chip craving. I reccomend them.

u/CaptainCoral · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

The veggie chips I actually got from Winco --- which I think is just in OR, WA, and ID --- but these are the broccoli things I got yesterday --- they were actually $1.99 at our local store! They had a few other little veggie snacks - the green beans, carrots, and peas!
It looks like these on Amazon are almost exactly what I got. I guess they don't have great reviews, but I think they're really good, lol. They're not super salty, and the sweet potato makes them a little sweet-ish tasting, if that makes sense.

u/BarbellCappuccino · 1 pointr/xxfitness

Apples (I'll leave just a whole one in there), roasted broad beans, protein bars (but I leave those more for if I miss a whole meal rather than a snack), sunflower seeds could be good since they're time consuming to eat.

Just buy some of these and keep them around:

https://www.amazon.com/Eatsmart-Snacks-Calorie-Multipack-8-Count/dp/B015DYK0H0

Aside from the pantry at my apartment, I also have some both in the glove box of my car and stashed in my desk at the office.

u/bulborb · 1 pointr/vegan

Unfortunately that space in the market hasn't been filled yet. I think the closest thing to what you're looking for are these Plant Snacks. There are also a ton of different vegan cheese curls that will probably sate your craving.

u/annelions · 1 pointr/ProductTesting

Too bad each order is still at least $6. And the savings ONLY applies to specific products. Putting 5 promo products & 1 non-promo product into your cart results in Amazon only deducting the cost of the promo items. So you can't even use the promo as a coupon on non-promo items.

As of right now, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012W3AI9K/ and also (I think) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VW2S1B0/ are part of the promo. So if you happen to want/need something that's on promo, adding those is a cheap way to increase your item count without raising your total cost.

I love chips, and I frequently will eat these. Good amount of fiber and protein, and they are low in calories.

u/sarah-bellum · 1 pointr/1200isplenty
  • Tea. Okay, I know people talk about tea a lot... but I drink a cup pretty much every day now and it's SO great for making me feel full and satisfied. Plus it helps me get more water into my day.

  • Veggie chips. I eat this kind and I love them. My 200-calorie portion feels big!

  • Green beans, broccoli and cauliflower - all vegetables that I find to be very filling. I tried green beans with butter, garlic and lemon zest recently and it was a game changer. I could eat those for an entire meal.

  • Crispy onion salad toppers - something like this. I throw these on all my salads, and as long as you keep the portion under control, they don't add a ton of calories. And they REALLY improve the taste of the salad (and they are delightfully crunchy).
