Ok guys, we have to discuss the puzzle. I don't think the puzzle pieces themselves are important, if they were if any one got lost the whole lead could be ruined. What information have we gained from the pieces? We have the puzzle they are from it is of the tower of course http://www.amazon.com/Re-Marks-Eiffel-Tower-Puzzle/dp/B0030CI28W/ref=sr_1_7?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1453488630&sr=1-7&keywords=Eiffel+Tower+puzzle . We have the retailer who has a password protected catalog section on their website.

www.remarks.net (I doubt they have anything to do with this and seem to be good people please don't harass them)

Personally I think the puzzle pieces are just meant to lead us somewhere, and not to actually be solved. But to where? Let me know what you guys think.

As most of you know, people have been receiving puzzle pieces with their orders of Swamp Pop. I spent most of my day compiling all of the pieces that have been posted to the subreddit, and doing my best to combine them. For reference, I found a post here that said that this was the puzzle that the pieces came from. So I got to work. I got some pieces from /u/ryanj64 here, some pieces from /u/Clovie2923 here, some pieces from /u/MNWNM here, some pieces from /u/Headman70 here, some pieces from /u/slusho6666 here, and some pieces from /u/RecklessLion here. Not all of the pictures are taken from the best angle, or at the highest quality but I tried my best with what I had. The pieces that are off to the side of the picture I couldn’t place within the puzzle due to lack of reference or because they were too low quality. These puzzle pieces are the only ones that have been posted to the subreddit as of right now, but I will be continuing to put the pieces together as more people post them.

If anyone sees any problems with my current placement of the pieces, or can help me place any of the pieces that are off to the side, let me know.

edit: I found a few more pieces from UNF user Clovie4796 and added them to the puzzle here.

I found this a few days ago, but maybe it's more relevant now? We've all been looking at the Eiffel Tower 250 piece puzzle, but Re-Marks also makes mini 60 piece puzzles, and puts them in 4 packs. It looks like there are a few landmarks that come together...

In another Eiffel Tower thread it is mentioned that the tower's designer was also the principal designer of the Statue of Liberty which was prominently featured in the first film. I have two ideas. It might have something to do with the recurring airplane theme (Cannibal Airlines VHS, Tom Clancy's Threat Vector on the bookshelf and the framed picture of a plane in the barrel shot). From Gustave Eiffel's Wikipedia page:

"...his writings upon the resistance of the air have already become classical. His researches, published in 1907 and 1911, on the resistance of the air in connection with aviation, are especially valuable. They have given engineers the data for designing and constructing flying machines upon sound, scientific principles"

So this guy had a lot to do with airplanes. Or his research led to the principles on which airplanes were developed.

Or, as Eiffel stated when asked of the Towers Symbolism:

"Not only the art of the modern engineer, but also the century of Industry and Science in which we are living, and for which the way was prepared by the great scientific movement of the eighteenth century and by the Revolution of 1789, to which this monument will be built as an expression of France's gratitude."

So the tower symbolized enlightenment, science and discovery. So maybe we created something led to whatever is out there. Could be the atom bomb (there is a Time Life World War 2 encyclopedia set on the same self as the Clancy novel).

Maybe scan the trailer for a match on that puzzle? If this checks out we might have a theme of international landmarks on our hands...

Also, maybe the audio could be cleaned up so that we get a clearer picture on the spectrogram to confirm? (I have no idea how to do that, else I'd do it myself...)

EDIT: Re-marks has a puzzle featuring Big Ben: http://www.amazon.com/Piece-London-Jigsaw-Puzzle-Re-marks/dp/B009GANMQY/ref=sr_1_49?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1453679371&sr=1-49&keywords=re-marks+puzzles. Not sure whether it matches up quite right with the spectrogram, but we might be able to tell with a cleaner picture.

That's a million percent a puzzle of the Eiffel tower. Probably this puzzle: http://www.amazon.com/Re-Marks-Eiffel-Tower-Puzzle/dp/B0030CI28W
