Most of the disposal options out there are pretty noisy, honestly. I've used plastic grocery bags in a pinch when I need to dispose discretely because they're small, innocuous to keep around, and pretty much perfectly sized for diapers. There are some bags made specifically for this purpose that you can purchase from various incontinence retailers and are quieter than garbage/shopping bags though. For instance, some scented ones that are on Amazon. You can probably find unscented ones for cheaper if you dig around, that's just the brand I know of off-hand.

For cleanup, if you can't make it to a shower in the morning I would definitely keep some wipes on hand. They're literally made for this purpose. You're not going to get rid of ALL the pee/powder scent without a decent scrub, but they do enough that you shouldn't be noticed unless the person is right up on your crotch lol. Don't flush the wipes either, even if they say they're flushable. "Flushable" wipes are the worst thing to have ever happened to our sewer system lol, you're begging to clog a toilet that way. Just drop them in the diaper after you wipe off and throw them out with it. You can honestly use any baby wipes without much issue (they're cheaper), but personally I find the adult-sized ones more comfortable and easy to use. I use Northshore's wipes, but there's a pretty broad variety out there.

Hope this helps!

The Abena Abriform L4 classic is what I get.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009H64GXA/ref=cm_cr_othr_mb_bdcrb_top

Abriform is the diaper style product. There are other thing that are Abri_____ that are pads, or pullups, or whatever, but the abriform is the diaper with tapes, which is the best type of product for bedwetting.

L4 indicates the size and absorbency. L is large. 4 is there highest level of absorbency. They also make an M4, L3, etc.

The classic version is sometimes not labeled as such. It's just the plastic backed version. It is not the AirPlus version. The airplus version had a "clothlike" backing that is supposed to be superior, but I (and many others) dislike it for many reasons.

If you order from Amazon themself, and not a third party, they double box it. The Abena box will be inside a plain brown box. However, I can also tell you that that abena packaging is so nondescript that nobody could possibly recognize it as adult diapers unless they already specifically know the brand and packing. It's a brown box, with 3 green stripes near the top, and one point the stripes are interrupted by the designation for product code. That's it. If you order from Amazon directly there first time, you'll see the packaging on the inside box, and can decide if you mind it enough to order from a third party on a subsequent order if you like.

The Abena work well for me, and for many people, but there are other good products as well if it's not a win for you (but I think it will be).

Something like this can be used in addition to the all over mattress pad.
Your friends could even have 2 or 3 of these in rotation. They’re easy to change out and either put directly on top of the sheet or under the sheet.

  1. Off the shelf, none of them really worked at keeping everything in so I use waterproof pads and just wash them (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F7NLHDS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

  2. I am a very deep sleeper and I do occasionally have insomnia. I've had a few sleep tests done and it's just further proof that I sleep very deeply.

  3. Desmopressin has worked for years, I have never used imipramine.

  4. I don't usually have caffeine, I'm not a coffee drinker. My weakness is that I get super thirsty at night.

And yes, I've wet pretty consistently during that time, although one summer a bedwetting alarm really helped, it's what I'm currently trying.

From a quick Google search, boys Goodnites have more padding in the front, while girls Goodnites have more at the bottom and in the back. That makes it seem like girls Goodnites are definitely better for a female while sleeping on their backs.

I wonder if something like Goodnites' Tru-Fit's could work for you. They're plain (the girls comes in purple, and purple and pink diagonal stripes), and if you stop being able to find the right inserts a regular incontinence pad or liner might work in it's place (apparently the Tru-fit 'underwear' is slightly plasticized on the inside). Alternatively, go with the boys Goodnites, but put a booster where what you're wearing now gets the most wet.

Diapers work. I'd suggest looking at Abena Abri Flex for a pullup (https://www.amazon.com/Abena-Abri-Flex-Premium-Protective-Underwear/dp/B01D3LACV4) or their briefs on amazon if timing is a concern, such as the AbriForm.

There's a ton more so I will edit later once I'm on break.

I was inspired by their YouTube commercials to try the Purple mattress protector. I normal hate mattress protectors since I'm so sensitive to sound, but this things quitter than a rat fart. https://www.amazon.com/Purple-The-Mattress-Protector-Queen/dp/B01N74VK18

I've become a cloth convert over the last couple years. I use the pre-fold style, specifically the LeakMaster Night Weight Birdseye Prefold Diaper (link) . They're around $30 a pop, but I've only needed to buy 5 in the last year and a half or so. (I wash every 4th morning). They're fastened on with a toddler sized Snappi diaper fastener, which is so much easier than using pins.
I also use the No-Wick Ultraflex Polyurathane Pants from Fetware (link).

For disposables when I'm travelling or too tired to put on a cloth, I use Abena M4s or Dry 24/7s.
