Reddit is being weird, but yes I still have the titles of the books.

The Conquest of Bread by Peter Kropotkin, what I would consider to be a rather approachable primer on leftist philosophy. And it's available for free here.

Capital Vol. I by Karl Marx, heavy reading, there's three volumes and they are substantial books. But they are pretty foundational to the ideology of the movement. There are companion books written in modern times to help get to the point a little more quickly and succinctly. Such as those by David Harvey or Richard D. Wolff.

The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, originally distributed as a pamphlet. Light reading and much more to the point than Capital. Available for free here.

Lastly, State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin. For me this was a more historical book than political. The Bolshevik revolution was one of the only large-scale successful revolutions by socialists. And Russia, having been feudal before the revolution, is interesting. Not a big fan of Lenin, Trotsky, or Stalin though. They failed to actualize what the proletariat wanted and did some pretty nasty stuff along the way.

Other stuff I'd recommend: Anything by Mikhail Bakunin, On Anarchy by Noam Chomsky, The Origin of Family, Private Property, and the State by Friedrich Engels. Also, if you're interested in dissenting opinions, read Ayn Rand. Her magnum opus is very long and titled Atlas Shrugged. Her work has been very influential on modern capitalist and conservative ideology. Nonetheless, I believe it useful to contrast worldviews.

Let's start with what you're right about. Yes Frenworld has a founding userbase that is tied to 4chan. There's really no hiding this because Apu Apustanja is a meme that emerged out of 4chan culture.

You're also correct that 'fren' doesn't necessarily mean alt right and/or white nationalist. Fren means tolerant, understanding, sympathetic, of white identitarian politics. Indentitarian politics is related to protecting Europeans and European Americans from replacement migration and anti natalism as well as a host of other threats. It is NOT a violent ideology. The naivety and innocence of Apu is attempting to express that. Apu is not trying to subvert and convert children. Apu is really an avatar of white suffering and whites that are starting to commit mass suicide as they become deeply affected by the increasing volume of anti white rhetoric in the news, entertainment and academia. This anti whiteness creates enormous self hate and a lost sense of identity and community. You don't need to embrace a more defined political orientation like the alt right to feel scared and confused about white demographic decline and anti whiteness. This is an excellent book about the topic.

There are also lots of Jewish groups terrified of white demographic decline because whites are keeping Israel afloat and are a major engine of civilized life which Jewish people enjoy very much.

Here's an interesting article about a sub group of jews that support white nationalism.

http://www.amerika.org/politics/interview-with-jonathan-stern/

> Frenler = Hitler

Yes you are correct about this. It's a reference to Hitler or non descriptor pro white leader.

> Nosefren = Jew

Yes this means jew or a deceptive fren.

> Frenworld = r/frenworld sometimes America/alt-right community as a whole

This one varies but again the alt right is only part of the picture. There's a large community of reactionaries, trad Catholics, pagans, neo confederates, ancaps, hoppeans, truthers, they all fall into the what I like to refer to as the 'dissident right'. The alt right is a movement that started around 2011 and attempted to norm on some of the dissident right ideas. The alt right was pioneering in their use of pathos (emotion driven content) as well as art, dress, sub culture to spread their ideas. The alt right doesn't expressly endorse national socialism. Nat socs do operate in the alt right but not everyone who labels themselves alt right believes in national socialism or fascism. The absolute best write up I can give you on the alt right is this one.

https://dailystormer.name/a-normies-guide-to-the-alt-right/

It's getting a bit dated and the alt right has gone through some changes but it's an excellent source of information from one of the core influencers in the alt right. It's important to remember that the alt right is a leaderless movement. Anytime they try to manifest themselves into real political parties they are heavily suppressed by both political parties, media, corporations, silicon valley, churches and antifa.

> Frenostate = Enthnostate

Yes. This is accurate. Keep in mind though very very few in the dissident community want to physically/violently removed non whites to achieve the ethnostate. Here's a good video of an ethnostate proposal.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At-dSFL4Bs8

Ben Shapiro is probably more radical in his views about removing minority ethnic groups than the alt right.

https://townhall.com/columnists/benshapiro/2003/08/27/transfer-is-not-a-dirty-word-n976781

> Bop = Shoot (occasionally means downvote)

I wouldn't say this means shoot. It just means get out you're not welcome.

> Honk/Honker/Clown = alt-right LGBTQ people.. Maybe..

This is where I wanted to correct you. It took me a while to analyze and figure out what was going on with the clown meme. The clown is mainly three things. First is a mask that alt right/dissident people have to wear. If you believe in race realism, a white ethnostate, anti homosexuality, jewish power, white genocide, it's REALLY difficult to talk to people and make friends IRL so you're forced to basically lie in every interaction you have with people. Lots of people of European origins are high trust people and are uncomfortable lying. Especially men who value direct communication.

The clown is also a symbol for people that have gone through several phases of depression to a weird type of half cope half acceptance. It starts with nihilism, depression, and ends with laughing at the travesty. Clowns try to troll and have fun as society collapses (which is something the fren community dissuades). This is partially related to accelerationism but that's a much more complicated topic that is outside the scope of our discussion. Lastly the clown represents conditioning/indoctrination to be sexually promiscuous to an extreme degree and therefore excepting of the leftist sexual and political agenda. So for example using pornography is participating in clown world. Dating a transexual is participating in clown world. The clown also represents hopelessness.

So you might be wondering where LGBT comes in. Well that's related to clownworld which is a term for immorality, consumerism, and unabashed pro homosexuality prevalent in the modern industrial world. Many within the dissident community crave traditional moral communities. There was a short lived meme campaign called white sharia where the alt right joked about praising and co-opting sharia law because it kept female hypergamy and homosexuality suppressed. Again this was a short lived meme and was not universally embraced.

If you're curious about more of the issues I've discussed here I highly recommend the q and a on this website.

There are also a lot of helpful images that give a more accurate and unbiased understanding of the complicated subgroups and ideas floating around the dissident right ecosystem.

The course I took was very lecture focused. The lecturer in question was a fantastic guy named Paul Arthur, he's written several books and I've been thinking of dipping into this one to refresh my memory on the subject: https://www.amazon.com/Special-Relationships-Britain-Ireland-Northern/dp/0856406880

But TBH if you want to be a good Irish American I would focus on the colonial history and the cultural history, as well as the stuff your family was involved in when they came over here (my family for instance did cool prohibition crimes). The Troubles are a fascinating subject, but I think the specific nationalistic and socioeconomic issues extant in the Troubles and the peace process leading up to the Good Friday agreement extend beyond something that only concerns people 'from' that region, and is something worth studying for anyone interested in politics or diplomacy.

There's a great book that thoroughly debunks The Bell Curve, and the concept that IQ is linked to race:

https://www.amazon.com/Bell-Curve-Wars-Intelligence-Republic/dp/0465006930

It's a series of essays by recognized leaders in their respective fields, each debunking a different aspect of The Bell Curve (methodology, analysis, concepts like immutability of IQ, etc).

If you want a great book exploring why Detroit is the way it is, I recommend The Origins of the Urban Crisis by Sugrue. He does a great job of exploring the reasons the city emptied out.

> Now how many do you think would have seen us together and assumed I was fetishizing her and that she hated Asian men or whatever the suggestion is. Someone who applies those assumptions on the regular would have seen me with her, at a party or just walking down the street, buying groceries together, and just have that belief re-enforced, despite being wrong in this case.

I don't assume that.

> "Seems to be a trend" is a bit of a cop out, an apology to absolve one of the intellectually lazy, shallow, negative generalizations that are about to follow.

Wouldn't you say that it's a trend that the_donald is often transphobic or islamaphobic? There is a new dude from /r/the_donald saying they have a traditional wife but "will be well rounded kids with no identity issues." Maybe twice a week? If you don't believe me come join the sub. Do I think all white guys dating asian girls fetishize them? No. That would be grossly hypocritical. I have a white ex.

> but is anyone really benefiting from a conversation that seems to revolve around and reinforce these generalizations?

Is it radical to ask couple to analyze why they are together and to make sure it isn't because of internalized racism or fetish and to make sure it truly is of love? Better couples with internalized racism or fetish don't have kids. It's not a good home environment. Racist people are not competent to raise mixed race children. They will only make their children's lives miserable.

Who is benefiting, I would say future hapa kids who are born from the a toxic environment need people to relate to and become comfortable in their racial identity, it's one place you won't be othered for being hapa. I would say it's a community by hapas for hapas mainly.

Oh and it's also benefitting future parents. There have been several threads asking for advise to what people thought their parents got right and got wrong and how to help raise a healthy mixed kid. Making sure people have access to hapa representation and common mistakes is also important. These are great booksr on raising mixed race.

> Do they actually have any reasoning for that?

Oh, boy. I went to one of these churches for 19 years, and I can barely tell you.

There's a book, One Book Stands Alone, that is seen as one of the ultimate texts of KJV-only-ism. Also Purified Seven Times.

It's a lot of specious picking and choosing of different prophecies/verses about how to treat scripture and finding historical applications to the kjv.

For instance, 7 is the biblical number of perfection. At one point, the bible says that God's word (in some form, I honestly can't remember) was "purified seven times". They then attach that to a claim that the kjv went through seven stages of editing.

There's a verse saying that God would only give his pure word through a King. Obviously, King James was the one who commanded the translation made.

There's a whole slew of different points. All as ridiculous as the last.

If you want to look at the really, really, really, really crazy, look at New Age Versions: An Exhaustive Documentation of the Message, Men & Manuscripts Moving Mankind to the Antichrist's One World Religion by G. A. Riplinger. That book asserts, using the most ridiculous logical leaps ever made (Olympic-sized, they are), that versions other than the KJV were written by Satan to prepare the way for the AntiChrist.

Bloodlands has its issues. It's greatest value is in providing specific testimonies of human suffering along the 'eastern front' in a popularly accessible form. For a more historically sound view of the comparisons between Hitler and Stalin, check out Beyond Totalitarianism: Stalinism and Nazism Compared.

It should be mandatory that everyone either read or watch the documentary Guns Germs and Steel. Because on the face of it it wouldnt be a unfair question to ask why did Europeans become the most advanced and dominated other cultures. Guns Germs and Steel lays out a rock solid case on and to sum up the answer comes down to Geography and timing not because of superiority of any race. But the answer is even more complicated then that... andv to sit there and argue with these knuckleheads with this long complicated arguments is pointless. It would be better if kids learn young about why these discrepancies exist so we can shut down those questions early on.

This literally sounds like something Hitler would say about Jews. He thought they were vermin, a plague, a disease, or as you said, a mold. He didn't hate them, he was utterly repulsed by them. This book gives some really great lesser known insight into his kind of psychopathy.

Disgust is a much more powerful emotion than hate as it triggers our survival instinct. Be careful.

I suspect the native americans (who couldn't even tolerate neighbouring tribes) didn't care much for diversity and inclusion either.

Coincidentally, two native americans wrote a great book that dismantles much of this "melting-pot" and "nation of immigrants" rhetoric.

> The problem is that these individuals did not adjust to their prescribed gender as predicted. All of the social conditioning, which included their surgically altered bodies, was not enough. There are a few decently brief, but appropriately in depth docs on this if you search around. The confusion and distress these people felt over a lifetime is not to be underestimated. Imagine being a guy or girl, and being raised your whole life in the opposite category, and even with different genetalia. Then one day you find out that you were born different, and had your genitals mutilated without your consent, and kept in the dark about it. It can be a long and confusing road to self acceptance and balance in life.

See: As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised As A Girl by John Colapinto for a particularly heartbreaking true story about this sort of thing.

Here's the text of the comment:

>Yeah, I'm going to want a source for that claim.

>The consensus in the field is that intelligence and race are not correlated, and that any claimed differences are due to factors correlated to (but not caused by) race, such as access to proper nutrition, healthcare, and education (for more on this, I would suggest [Human Intelligence by Earl Hunt](http://www.Human.com/ Intelligence https://www.amazon.com/dp/0521707811/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lLbxzbX9PJQXQ)). Controlled for those factors, there is no difference in measured intelligence between racial groups, which makes sense since the genetic differences between racial groups are tiny relative to inter-individual genetic variance. Here's some further reading on the subject.

>Edit: Ooh, lots of downvotes but no replies and no cited sources. Guess people allergic to reality around here. Racism has never has had a grounding in facts, sorry.

And here's a link to the thread.

It is astounding how folks can buy into baseless conspiracy theories, and claim them as fact.

George Soros, his brother Paul, and his father Tivdar were persecuted Jews living in Budapest during the Holocaust. Tivdar, a literal POW at the hands of the Russians in WWI, created purchased homemade documents that saved his family and several others from being shipped to Concentration Camps like Auschwitz.

He literally wrote a fucking book about it: Masquerade: The Incredible True Story of How George Soros' Father Outsmarted the Gestapo

Roseanne claims that Soros was actually fighting for the Nazis and turning in Jews, even though it is the exact opposite of everything we know and George was 9 years old when the war started. A thirty second Google search would prove this conspiracy theory to be a bunch of antisemitic bunk, but apparently Roseanne and her fellow Pedes only visit Russian disinformation sites.

Hell, I don’t even like the guy! Many leftists don’t! But to pretend your political adversary is a Nazi boogeyman that’s a part of the NWO is fucking ludicrous, especially considering her “God Emperor” has defended Nazis and White Supremacists in public, was given the Nazi salute by Richard Spencer, and was endorsed by the Daily Stormer almost the moment he announced his candidacy.

u/WarmSolution · 5 pointsr/AgainstHateSubreddits

No, I don't have a degree in Sociology, which is why I listen to the people who do and have dedicated their lives to the subject.

>And what do you mean by "modern research in Sociology"?

Try:

Robin DiAngelo. White Fragility.

Caleb Rosado. The Undergirding Factor is Power. Toward an Understanding of Prejudice and Racism

You can read much of this one for free: Don Operario and Susan T. Fiske. Racism Equals Power Plus Prejudice. A Social Psychological Equation for Racial Oppression

Every definition is "made up," racism as an equation is the one that makes the most sense because it describes problems that go beyond crude racial prejudice. Also, as Fiske and Operario said, power has a direct influence on the nature of prejudice, and racial categories are constructed through societal power.

To use your poor rural folk example, imagine they belonged to race B and race A was oppressing them. Race B can hold racial prejudices against race A, however only race A can be racist because, beyond prejudice, they hold socioeconomic power through which they can create a system to enforce it. For sure, you could say "they're both racist," but considering the inequality between them that is a pretty useless statement. That's why academia has been increasingly adopting the new definition. Racism without power is incomplete.
