I’ve been using this wallet for a few years and I love it. Easily fits 8-10 cards. Some folded cash. I keep my house key in it. And it’s the size of a credit card and fits great in my front pocket.

If my kids (elementary schoolers) can accept contactless payment (including Apple Pay) for their lemonade stand (using $33 Square Reader for contactless and chip), Cole Haan can do the same.
I don't understand why they are going through the trouble to disable something shoppers like. The only reason that I can think of is not being able to track shoppers (Apple Pay credit card number is randomized).

There are card readers that you can buy as low as $16 that give you the full number of the card as if you were paying at a store. Don’t do this. At all. Even if it is cool. Follow /u/hat_like_dad’s advice.
