Hi all! My Mercari blew up last night! Made 4 sales and just got an offer on a pair of shoes I plan to accept. If you are comfortable listing old electronics, I highly suggest doing so on Mercari. I listed 2 old iPhones (unlocked and factory reset, not in the best condition) and they both sold very quickly, and for great prices.

Agree with u/flvampy about Converse! It's one of my favorite brands and always seem to resell fast. I love finding them but some of my local Goodwills now mark them up to $15+ if they're in good condition. The scuffed up ones are usually cheaper, and I found this awesome cleaning product that I now use on pretty much all shoes. So if you don't mind using a lil elbow grease, Converse clean up pretty well.

Planning to relist an ASOS dress and Vans sneakers during the noon party, and will be sending out a lot of OTLs this afternoon. #PAYDAY

Happy weekend!!

Also, I don't love that light box. It provides light but it isn't a surface itself that looks good in photographs, hence the white fabric on the bottom. Have the light box sides in the background works...if the corners/edges aren't in the photos, because they look super tacky. I would be willing to buy another, bigger and better light box, but I doubt that make sense as I would still be left with my issue for bigger items like tops and dresses. This is that lightbox, just fyi: Neewer 24x24 inch/60x60 cm Photo... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GKGGICC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I have the old version of this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAQD0KD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pt.kDb45N0VFF
Except I had to do some personal engineering and just removed the safety cap guard thing myself for a closer shave...
it’s over a year old and my still my favorite. I tried to replace it with a more expensive one but this one is the best. I might even rebuy and sell my expensive shaver. I love that you can change the blades now. The older version that I have, I cannot so that’s the only reason I’m considering getting another.

That's funny!! The purchase we still laugh about in my house is this pillow

Thankfully my husband appreciates my sense of humor and uses it as the lumbar support that I intended.

This is the one I use I upgraded from the older model (sending old one off with kid to college )

I like that it does not spit and the anti-leak design comes in handy when you are dancing to the music as you steam and don't keep it vertical. Quick heat and usually I don't need a refil and can steam a few pieces on one water fill. Plus it came via Amazon next day and if I didn't like it I could send it back with the 90-day full refund, and 24-month warranty.

Are you paying package rates or process mail rates for comics? If you don't want to get "fancy" and get the backing boards and sleeve bags and have some excess cardboard lying around, you could sandwich your future sales in two cardboard pieces to keep them from being folded in half longways. In my experience, postman's gonna post and shove the whole wad of mail wherever they can, regardless of "Do not bend" - my degree got bent to shove in my mailbox. That was a frustrating day. I hope s/he got a paper cut trying to mess up my pretty mail.
