There are cheaper headset mics of course, but you'll need adapters to get them to be XLRs. Analog computer headsets would probably work, you'd need 1/8 inch to XLR adapters or cables.

Something like this might work, and it's cheap:

You'll need an adapter to get it plugged into the mixer though...the advantage to a headset like that (which should have separate connectors for mic and headphones) is that you could probably also feed game audio or program audio (or whatever you wanted) easily to the headphones.

Although they're a bit on the pricier end depending on where you shop, the Audio-Technica BPHS1 headsets are awesome. They're practically the golden standard for semi-pro broadcasters at this point. I've had great experience with them both indoors and out.

The device to create a signal for your TV tuner is called an "RF modulator". However, using HDMI or VGA out of your computer as input to the RF modulator is also tricky, and basically requires another device that converts to something like a "composite" signal. The most common cheap RF modulators won't do UHF; they do VHF on channel 3 or channel 4. Here is an RF modulator that can also do UHF:

To first convert VGA to composite:

I found one box that perform both steps in a single unit, but the RF modulator is a cheap one, and only supports VHF channel 3:

This https://www.amazon.ca/Uniden-Handheld-Scanner-Black-BC75XLT/dp/B00A1VSO9M/ but I don't see why it would work. It doesn't scan every frequency

This is an AJA KiStor drive for a Ki Pro or Ki Pro Rack. Use a standard USB 3 cable, "A" to "Micro-B" (same as you'd use for portable hard drives) and plug in to the connector on the left.

Depending on exactly which AJA capture device this drive was formatted on, you may need to connect this to a Mac in order to transfer the recorded files.

Here is an example of the cable that will work.
