not as scrubby but amazing all the same DHC face wash powder ( https://www.amazon.ca/DHC-22465-Face-Wash-Powder/dp/B00AY9O9ZO/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3JOI9POEIJOTT&keywords=dhc+face+wash+powder&qid=1559055729&s=gateway&sprefix=dhc+pow%2Caps%2C393&sr=8-3 ) I love me some powder face washes. lots if great ones from Korea (toosowong enzyme cleaner!) that are easy to get.

Honestly, Shoppers Life Brand version of Spectro Gel is amazing - not drying at all and cleans well. I find Spectro has too much silica in it. For cleansing oil I like the Kose oils - this one is really nice, cleans well and rinses off well too.

I was bothered by my dark arm hair and bleached it a couple of times–it becomes pretty much invisible! I can definitely recommend it, it's also pretty cheap and easy to do. (I used something like this, not the exact one but there should be plenty to choose from)

Not an insurance answer, but here's something to try:

I have a keloid scar on my palm from having a glass shatter on me while washing dishes. I was told by a dermatologist that placing a silicone bandage for a year in addition to daily 5-minute massages can greatly help. The silicone bandages are quite pricey, but you can wash and reuse most of them.

These are the bandages I bought (Amazon). I cut these in half and placed them on my palm for a while (not a whole year) and I think it did help lessen the appearance of it.

If you don't mind not getting them individually packaged, Japanese sheet masks can be found a lot cheaper - they're sold in wipe-type dispensers. These ones on Amazon are $20 for 30 masks

Any hydrocolloid bandage will work. Hydrocolloid is a type of bandage not a brand. I've bought some from Shoppers, sometimes they even have the ones specifically for acne. Look in the skincare section.

For stridex I think amazon is the only place. Link Here

Tried the La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50 for Face today. It was $34 at the london drugs on Granville/Georgia downtown. Note that the packaging is slightly different in Canada - not the bottle type or shape, just the words printed on it. Be careful to check and make sure you're not taking the chemical sunscreen version.

The sunscreen has a slight tint - a warm beige-ish color. I am very fair and was worried it would give my face an orange tint but it didn't. I just made sure to blend it into my neck and you can't see it at all. And no white-cast either! It doesn't irritate my skin and feels much lighter and less sticky and thick than the Avene one. I'm about to go and test it at the beach so I'll report back if I get a sunburn at all today.
