the one i have is sick dude

http://www.amazon.com/VG278HE-27-Inch-Screen-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B00906HM6K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407598984&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+27+inch+144hz

in additoin to being 144hz, also has 1ms response time. And the color and saturation is amazing. Honestly when i got this and played chiv, chivalry looked even better. All the lighting looks amazing, colors are way more vibrant, and walking inside stoneshill for example... even the torches on the wall and stuff look different in an amazing way.

Investment? yes.. it's pricey but peripherals make your gaming experience so good.

If that one is out of your price range, you can try this

asus is awesome company, and if anything is wrong with your monitor, say you have dead pixel or something, they will send you replacement before you send to them. Great support awesome company and solid products.

You could go for one of those korean monitors or samsung or w/e.. but asus is tits man. Highly recommend. Sir_Pink and I have the same monitor and we love em.

for the best sound quality in chiv you're going to want an external sound card, an audio interface. something like this would be a good option for you

You can watch like 6 videos and know how to build a computer. Once you know what fits where, it's like putting together legos. These screwdrivers make everything way easier too.

1600 DPI, 25 In Game Sensitivity.

Defaut Windows mouse speed (6/11 ticks). Disabled enhancing pointer precision.

Optical sensor without built-in acceleration.

Here's a link. The Rival 300 is just as good though (same sensor), it just has a different fabric that I personally didn't like as it would slowly slip off my hand. Up to you.

Edit: typo

There is the issue then. When I played on Wireless a few weeks ago, it was honestly the worst thing ever. Even at 60 ping it felt off and laggy. Completely unplayable for me. Then I got these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Netgear-200Mbps-Powerline-Ethernet-Adapter/dp/B007JD6LBS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top and it's been more or less perfect connection since!

I own one of these bad boys.

amazing for recording then uploading, decent at live streaming. While just recording I get no fps drop and I'm recording at 1080 resolution, 20000kbps, @ 30 fps. Live streaming requires you to still use a program like xsplit, but the capture card will help with the fps drop even then though.

If you're plan is just to do occasional recordings though, use fraps.

You still have a few years left, I'm 25, have 450 hours, and still slaughter 95% of the people who make the mistake of crossing my path.

Have you tried upping your sensitivity so you don't have to waste so much time moving your hand so far?^1 Another important thing is to make sure your FOV is maxed, it makes a huge difference.

I have a razer exactmat/vespula and use the speed side (which has had the small area I use worn even smoother), I keep my mouse feet and pad "ocd clean", be sure your mouse's feet are clean^1 it really sucks when you nearly kill someone only to have your mouse stick a little and get you killed.

  1. I use a 2k DPI mouse w/the windows sensitivity setting maxed and the smooth enabled, no accel, my in game sensitivity is 33.

  2. I recommend high concentration rubbing alcohol on a paper towel...unplug your mouse or cover its sensor port so you don't blind yourself...just because you can't see the laser doesn't mean it can't do eye damage.
