It is important for Americans to learn how Washington DC really works. It is not what one would think intuitively. It is incredibly inward looking. Everyone is focused on personal advantage and having connections with people with "juice". In that sense it is exactly like Las Vegas.
Leibovich's book is a good place to start learning.
Fun fact: The book was set in the year 2902.

What about the guy who tried to run from the cops in a vehicle with his pregnant gf in it?
Because she got hurt doesn't mean she's automatically the victim and is "right."
I think the verdict to not indict Darren Wilson demonstrated that.
Here. Let me help you out. Put this on your wishlist for Santa.
What Democrats? Who are you talking about, me, or the writer, or both?
Look at what he writes, and look at who's giving him glowing reviews. Ron Paul.
A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State Hardcover – Jun 25 2013
He wrote that in 2013 while Obama was the President. Your problem is you see a headline, and you don't like it because you assume it's only attacking Trump instead of criticizing the State. What the state is doing preceded Trump and is far bigger than Trump. But you don't like the headline and you don't like Democrats, so you conflate the two. Very lazy thinking.
>Americans are not in any measurable danger from terrorism.
This ignorance is unreal. Leave the ivory tower. Read a good book (at least attempt to refute it thoroughly before you fling this sort of statement around):

>War against Muslims
This sort of false rhetoric is what puts Americans in danger.
Quote: "“Instead of targeting terrorists engaged in true threats, the government has turned ordinary citizens into potential terrorists, so that if we dare say the wrong thing in a phone call, letter, email or on the internet, especially social media, we end up investigated, charged and possibly jailed,” said constitutional attorney John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute and author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People. “This criminalization of free speech, which is exactly what the government’s prosecution of those who say the ‘wrong’ thing using an electronic medium amounts to, is at the heart of every case that wrestles with where the government can draw the line when it comes to expressive speech that is protected as opposed to speech that could be interpreted as connoting a criminal intent.”"
It's a bit comforting to see a sane voice of reason amidst the insanity of the current anti-terrorism climate. The governments of the world dont need world war anymore. They can directly turn on common citizens, strip them of rights, torture and brainwash them, and deport them to a warzone where they will be hunted and killed by drones.
Mad Max has nothing on this plot.
