I'm sorry to put all this out, but I think you need to hear it, because a lot of what you said is very incorrect and is unfairly framing the discussion on the part of players who are invested in this game, and this isn't just you, a large number of community members are guilty of this.

>I'm just tired of the pros shitting on 5

>they'll still find a way to say 5 is the worst in the series

Show me a tweet, comment, video, or anything where any well-known "pro" talking about the game said that 5 is the worst in the series. I'll wait.

I'm telling you right now that you won't produce any, because none of those exist, every good player who has been criticising 5 has been doing so incredibly politely the very same way they would criticise any of the other games in the series.

Here's a list of players, some well-known veterans, others more obscure, some beginners, who have been very politely asking for inertia back

ChaserTech
DelusionaryKiller
DarkHarmonixer, here's another one
Jestah
Our very own Millz/Millhouse96
MartinG
Rex Prime
Vash The Shell Bullet
Woolie of the Best Friends Zaibatsu
SuperSpider
RedgraveFlame
Attendant
Beard
Alissa
IDrinkTea

Tell me where in any of those they are "shitting on 5". If you can produce a fraction of the number of people you are claiming exist, then please produce it. And clearly, both combo pros and more casual players are asking for these changes because they would make the game better for everyone.

>Its fucking pointless trying to satisfy them at this point without the game being elitist and alienating some people

Explain how they are being elitist and wanting to alienate people? Because the vast majority of good players have already praised a lot of the accessibility changes in DMC5 and have already gotten used to the many changes in physics.

Number of accessibility changes that everyone is happy with that are inviting to new players and are great:

  • Color Up holding charge shots
  • The window to dodge after a slash
  • The ability to shoot while dodging
  • Having an air taunt that gives you i-frames
  • More powerful and expanded styles
  • Charged shots autocharging while in Gunslinger
  • The choice to carry two instead of three weapons for Dante
  • Moves having hardcoded inertial movement to them
  • A training mode so anyone can practice against enemies without trainers/on consoles

All of these make the game more accessible and easier, but most players I've discussed this with are fine with them, and even praise them.

I really can't believe I have to tell you this, because I know we've discussed these before. Stop trying to frame this as "elitism" or people who don't want to "adapt" to changes. They've already adapted, those players aren't against things being accessible, they are against things being worse. If 5 has a flaw compared to the previous games, and that flaw is easily correctable, it's worth pointing out. I cannot begin to tell you how many less knowledgeable players have gone out of their way to shut down any conversation about this against people who genuinely care about 5 and want it to be the best. They have already taken a lot of criticism from fans about things like this, and made changes to the game accordingly, because that's the first thing they said they wanted, they asked for our feedback.

So far, I've been able to find:

  • Calibur used to push enemies before the attack began at E3.
Its function was fixed to attack depending on enemy proximity the way it should by Gamescom.
  • End lag on Snatch was reduced by Gamescom (These were both pointed out by a few players after the E3 reveal and adjusted accordingly).
  • Gravity/float was reduced.
  • The damage Punch Line does was reduced.
  • Cavaliere's launcher had its launch height reduced, and its air juggle made to descend more quickly from the September showcase to the December Showcase after it was raised as a concern.

Your welcome btw, because "pros" mentioned all of this. Me and the thread creator even tweeted some of these to the devs, and it's likely the changes were made because of that, changes the devs apparently thought were good enough to improve the game.

Do you want to see the list of flaws the game currently has that should really be addressed?

  • Snatch is inaccurate
  • There are several problems with directional inputs in the game
  • There are many animation errors
  • The camera in this game has a lot of issues associated with how it behaves that have never been in any previous game, not even the reboot.

There are countless more clips of issues like this, and this has nothing to do with gameplay design like balance and difficulty, this is purely performance and controls. On top of this are changes players I listed do not like because they believe these changes will make the game worse. If you and others really love 5 as much as you claim, then I think you should be more respectful to the people who are more aware of what they are talking about and respectfully trying to improve this game for everyone.

The game is still a great game, but this is a game that has many flaws it's previous games don't have and should be addressed. The community members trying to make this game better for everyone are being callously put down by a large number of people who don't care but are inserting themselves into the discussion to silence criticism of a game they are invested in.

If you don't care about these issues, fine, no problem, I'm not going to blame you for that, but be respectful when people with fair criticism show it, and don't try and put them down when you don't know the details or issues in-depth.

I'm sorry to dump all this on you, but it needs to be said.

Okay. Essentially, you're gonna want to make a template the size of however big you want the font to be (keep in mind the size of the plywood). Why? You're gonna want to draft out each entry and exit of the wire. Newsprint should do lovely.

Next up: Plywood. Mine's about 34×14.5". It's really up to y'all smokin' sexy stylish demons how big you want yours cut. Once you cut it, paint it. Two coats.

Once again, trace out the letters onto the plywood once the paint's fully dried, this will help as you start laying down the wire with super glue since this is a very curvy sign (I do recommend using a small brush over the traced lines). Mark the entries and exits again onto the plywood and drill holes the same width as the wire, roughly around 2mm.

I hope you didn't have much plans for the rest of the day, so get comfy. Now comes the threading and glueing of the wire. Thread the wire through the first hole and pull all the way through (tape the battery pack to the back of the board to make it easier to continue). Onto the fun part, brush a dash of super glue onto the traced path of the wire (not too thin or thick) and hold the wire in place until it sets, repeat this all along the traced curve until you hit an exit. Pull the wire through and thread into the next entry, making sure it's free of any knots, and repeat.

EDIT: This video by TheSorryGirls should pretty much help you get the gist of how I came to make my sign, especially the marking of the wire entries and exits.

DMC 1-3 had a PS3 HD remake. Devil May Cry HD Collection I'd loook for that instead of the PS2 versions, just because they're remastered and will look better.

The special editions have some more playable characters and a few other features. Notably in DMC3 you can play as Virgil. It was tons of fun. DMC4 SE let's you play as Vergil, too. Since you're not aware of the story I won't tell you who Vergil is lol

What I meant was Jay Kay (the lead singer of Jamiroquai) is pretty well known for wearing goofy hats/headpieces while performing, including ones with buffalo horns. It also resembles the band's logo, the Buffalo Man.

I hadn't heard the phrase bully for you before however. It's an interesting example of how language changes over time if nothing else.

I recall that the final volume was delayed because the dubbing rights changed. At least the amazon page claims that it came out in 2008.

Found one but not sure if it ships outside the US.

I just looked on Amazon, if you want the one that I got here a link.

I bought mine off of amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Devil-May-Cry-5-PlayStation-4/dp/B07DJX3XJS?th=1&psc=1

Though this is the US site so I'm not sure if it will work for you, but from what I looked up I think it should. I also read something that said that you can use Amazon France, but that didn't have the deluxe edition so it's not worth looking into, for now at least.

I tried looking for Belgium variations of stores I know have it, but it just kept showing me Belgium items. So if my Amazon link doesn't work, I would suggest keeping an eye on the Devil May Cry 5 site (it doesn't seem like they have preorders ready yet), and/or on a retailer you know that sells games.

> Ohhhhh I didn't realize you were attacking me.
>
>

What?

>V had an arc that was then stapled onto Vergil, so I guess that counts,

V is Vergil.

> but it was ignored until Vergil got his ass beat.

No, actually there is a huge difference in his behaviour compared to the last few games.

> He was still trying to kill his brother

Dante tried to murder him first.

> and son until Nero got the better of him in his Might Means Right mentality

He literally thanked Nero and then left, and at the start of the battle he says "if I beat Nero". There is non indication he's going to kill Nero at any point.
