Decided to go with the Pioneer AVH-4201nex, and can't wait to get it installed.
Opting to let Best Buy install it for me so i can have the free-factory-reinstall feature if/when i go to sell this truck. Also just love this stereo with the backup camera, CarPlay, and very large 7" screen.
Here's a link to the system.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N18MXNU
When i have it installed, i'll be sure to put together a picture gallery and share.

If you have one of these, use it. If not, get one at your local gittin' spot and use it. Then Id say report back.

Edit: It just occurred to me that you just said your water pump was replaced 2 months ago. So hopefully your coolant is fresh. That doesn't mean it's mixed properly which that gauge will show you.

Also, look at the condition of the inside of the radiator when you have the cap off. Is it fairly clean? Is it rusty with crud lining everything? What's it look like? A ask because how it looks may hint if your radiator is just clogged up with shmoo.

Oh haha. I did see the side of the truck but I thought that looked like something that had been added like a wrap.

If that paint IS factory paint, based on the colors available that year, I would guess its the driftwood satin metallic.

Here's the complete color list.

Here is a touchup paint for the driftwood color. No other color on the list is as close to your color as that one.

I paid 300 but its now 325. Its been on the bed for 4 years and had to replace the hinges once being rough on them. They give them to you for free though. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032H6QQ0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not hard at all. Can be done with basic tools. The hardest part was getting it into the truck.

The Master rebuild kit cost me about $650 and about $400 for the machine work. Assembled the motor outside in my shed.

I HIGHLY recommend getting yourself a copy of this book before you try and tackle the job. Read it through to get yourself mentally prepared. It covers every single thing you'll need to do, or may encounter when you rebuild a 5.2/5.9 Magnum.

It is actually very easy. If you can remove the dash panel you can replace these.

@iconfiscate I'm not terrible reddit savvy, can't seem to figure out how to post a photo directly in here. However, here is where I ordered them (cheapest I could find them). In the customer photos, mine are the first two pics taken, on my blue dakota.

It should be these but I'm not sure because they were a Christmas present.
