I've never used it, but there is a HOTAS that is compatible/made for the PS4. There's one game that uses it right now. It'll be up to Frontier if the want to design the game to use joystick support.
I just set my Hotas 4 on a computer chair with 2 of these:

And then I used heavy duty Velcro to attach each side of the Hotas to the mounts. The wire between the two halves is long enough for this set up. I'm loving it!
Edit: your chair has to have arms for these to clamp to.

I have it and LOVE IT! It took a bit of time to customize the controls to my liking, but once I got used to it, I can't go back to a controller.
The HOTAS does not have a speaker or a headphone cable port, so if you are using headphones with an auction plug, they are not supported. However, there is this adapter:

Voice can be handled by any mic that works with the PS4. Any USB keyboard will work with the PS4, I use this one currently but there's cheaper options too.
I was gonna do a whole PVC set-up but I really didn't want to take that much room in the living room. I've decided on this set-up.

I don't have a HOTAS, but from lurking on the forums/doing some research,) the Thrustmaster HOTAS 4 is the only one to work on the PS4.
