  1. Get one of these
  2. Connect it and fill it partially.
  3. Turn the car on and let it warm up.
  4. Watch and see if bubbles come through the funnel. It's important you maintain the level in the funnel. As air comes out of the system the fluid will drop. So always have enough fluid.
  5. As you're doing this keep your heat blasting.
  6. Rev car, maintain fluid level, than check to see if hot air is there yet. Repeat over and over.
  7. Still no hot air? Go to your bleeder valve.
  8. Crack your bleeder valve. Don't screw it all the way off. Just crack it. If you have air stuck there it will look like you're opening a soda. Like bubbles seeping out edges.
  9. Watch it until you see fluid pushing out.
  10. Go back to your car that is still on and running and check your heater.
  11. No heat or some heat is normal. You should feel some heat.
  12. Keep going back and forth between cracking the valve and checking your heat. Do this over and over and you should slowly see your heat come back. Also revving your engine pushes the fluid around faster so do that as well.

Notes: while you're doing the funnel method, the fluid may start to boil and and quickly rise causing it to over flow. Always keep an eye on this. Immediately turn off your car and wait about 30 mins and continue.

Also, your bleeder valve is just a plastic screw that can easily get stripped with all of the opening and closing. Make sure your screw driver is an exact fit. Also, it helps to support it from the bottom when pushing down to open or close it. Wear gloves.

If you can, raise the front end of the car on ramps or something. It helps the air move.

I used the aux kit and added a bluetooth amp for 50 bucks.

Car connects when it turns on and can play music just fine without some bullshit FM transmitter. Cost $100.

All wireless and the voice works as well.

You wire everything into the armrest and I drilled holes for the transmitter placed just below the stick shift. Barely noticeable and I can switch songs very quickly;.

I thought I would be buying a double din setup down the road but I am very impressed with this setup so far. My phone can stay in my pocket all the music and calls work seamlessly.

I think if I did my speakers I would just add a 4 channel amp in the trunk and bybass a headunit all together.

Before I bought the bluetooth dongle I just plugged phone directly into the aux kit using it's 3.5mm. I thought the dongle would drop quality over the phones built in amp but I have noticed no difference and now it's fully wireless and has a built in mic for calls.

Here's my setup:

The amp- This one works great turns on and off with car.

Thanks, and I’m using a Mishimoto catch can. I had to drill 2 small holes to mount it, it was pretty easy to install.

u/dsmfreak · 1 pointr/G35

The FM transmitters are trash don’t buy them.

Buy a cassette adapter, buy a female to female aux adapter, buy a aux to Bluetooth adapter.

This is the set up I have and it works great.

Before replacing any bulbs make sure the headlamp lens is clear and not yellowed. If yellowed/hazy then polish it out.

This is the one I got and still have 3/4 left after 2 times use. Dont buy the big bottle because you only use it as little as you can. There a lot of youtube video out there. And it safe for paint to so dont have to tape everything.

See my post about the track info ? We only tried Spotify but I can try some other apps if you want.

I'll repeat, with Spotify, the steering wheel controls do work.

Here's the page with the item's info: https://coolstreamrocks.com/what-is-the-coolstream-carpro/ . You need to go through their "selector" tool, pick "BMW" compatibility, and you should end up with "CarPro - Bluetooth Receiver for BMW Mini Cooper iPod Y Cable" as what they'll spec for you. You also need a power-inserter. Their website points to one from CableJive but it costs over $60 now. I asked them about that and they now point people to this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0026AG38K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sorry I completely missed this comment man. Here is the link to the one i purchased. Just so you know, its not a direct fit. You actually have to cut the resonators off the replica and weld the xpipe in its place. I remember paying around $80 i think for them to cut the resonators and weld the xpipe. I did think about getting different kind of tips down the like but i'm currently trying to sell the car so all the projects for it are on hold. Sorry for the late response, hope i'm not too late. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XQJZ34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They are OEM G37S 19” rims. I had the same vibrations with the spacers on with my stock 18” rims as well. No vibrations without spacers w/ the stock 18” wheels. I’m sure I’d have no vibration with the 19” wheels without spacers, but haven’t tried it because the spacers are necessary for fitment.

They’re both 66.1 bore size as well as the spacers. I don’t have pics of the spacers but I’ll add the links. Disclaimer, they are cheap spacers which would very well be my problem, but I’ve heard of vibrations on the forums even with high quality spacers ... due to a deep bore?

25mm spacers

BEFORE YOU DO THIS. Try this instead as it's cheaper. Buy some Motul DOT 5.1.

Find the clutch fluid reservoir. Open it up and look at the fluid. It's most likely brown and sludge like when it should be a more golden yellow. Get a turkey baster or some type of syringe and pump that stuff out. Once it's all out, get in your car and pump your clutch around 30 times. Get out and if there's more fluid in the reservoir, suck that liquid out as well. Repeat this procedure until all the liquid is out.

Then pour the 5.1 fluid in. The reason your clutch is getting stuck is because the fluid is boiling over and no longer functional. People recommend DOT-4 but in my experience it still boils over in summer time. I've been using 5.1 ever since and not have had any problems.
