Meijer is a 10 minute bus ride away, don't stress out too much over little things you might be forgetting. Everything the other poster said is correct, I was an RA in Allendale for 3 years.
Hanging art is a little trickier... I always just went to the hardware store and bought the smallest nails I could find and then filled the holes in with drywall mud at the end of the year (I've heard you can also use white toothpaste for the same effect).
Edit: found these on Amazon, not sure how well they work but it could be a good option

The book for the GVSU math course is probably this:

It's okay not to have your book the first week. The GVSU Mathlab has a copy that you can use >>IN<< the mathlab. The book is not GVSU specific, unless they changed something in the past year.
Source: I worked at the math lab for 3 years.
I can post no guarentee's but it should be This One
A fellow pen connoisseur?!
I'm extremely partial to the Uni-Ball "Vision". Link
.7MM fine point roller ball pens
If you have to do a ton of writing (business, pre-law, etc), these pens are unbeatable.
If I'm ever in a situation where I don't have one with me and thus am forced to use another pen...it just...feels so wrong.
