Casual racing gamer? Have you looked at Burnout: Paradise or Driver: San Francisco? They're my favorite casual racing games and both are quite a bit of fun. You can get Burnout + Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit from Amazon right now for $10. A warning though: Both activate on Origin rather than Steam I believe.

(NOTE: Both Driver and Burnout are more arcade-y than serious. They feature turbo and cool crashes and all of that, so if you think your sister wants a more serious racing game than they don't really qualify. They are, however, open world)

There was a window during the winter 2012 Amazon sale in which if you bought a 2K game, you got a non-transferrable $5 credit for other 2K games. I'm surprised it actually works on this. Dunno what else it works on.

Edit: Doesn't work on Civ 5 Steam key, also on sale for $6 from 2K.

It is on sale at Amazon.ca now for $26. A little more expansive but still good deal and you don't have to go to a store.

Both the Steam Link ($19.99) and the Steam Controller ($34.99) are the same price on Amazon now which might be a better deal when factoring in shipping costs.

In addition to what others have said, there is also a $99 bundle with joycons that is a good discount if you need an extra set of joycons. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JDG35L7

You can probably find physical copies cheaper.

For example, Amazon has the expansion on sale for $25. The question you have to answer is: is waiting a couple days for shipping worth $15 for you?

But Blizzard is the #1 test on whether a digital site is a legit seller or not, because Blizzard and only Blizzard is allowed to sell Blizzard products digitally.

This game is the living proof. It's not available on the Steam market but you can still redeem it buying it from amazon. Same thing applies to other games such as Prey.

Just posting because I was leery of even picking up 2142 if servers were gonna die in <60 days. But just an FYI that it will be playable!

It'll most likely go to $2.99 on Steam in the autumn and winter sale, so just hold out for that. If you have to have it now, it's currently $5.99 on the US Amazon.

It's on sale right now at Amazon. I don't think it'll get any cheaper than $15.

The base game is 75% off on GamesPlanet right now, at £10.

The season pass is 50% off on Amazon, at $25. That seems to contain all dlc maps, and cost less than only the zombie maps.

Both redeem on Steam. In the future you can check prices with www.IsThereAnyDeal.com. You can also see previous sales and set up alerts as to future sales there.

They had a bundle with the season pass for $25 a couple months back...

u/Eldmor · 9 pointsr/GameDealsMeta

Amazon is also selling the game. If they have stock left, why wouldn't they sell them?

u/emtilt · 1 pointr/GameDealsMeta

Some of these aren't "exclusive," they're just not on Steam. For example, Aura 2 is on Amazon and GMG (no link for obvious reasons).

u/poringo · 1 pointr/GameDealsMeta

I really want Bioshock Infinite, I would buy it at $40.

Well I'll be damned, it is at $40 on amazon. I think I'll bite.

Are these console games or PC games?

A lot of people don't keep the box when they buy a physical PC game -- they throw it away and just keep the disc and any key. Console owners do that too, but less often since the cases are good for storing the discs in.

A bigger problem with the PC games is the "disc only, no key" sales that I see on Amazon that are selling for close to full price -- in that case, in 2016 you generally end up with a game that you cannot play.

For example, these used copies of Overwatch -- they talk about how it's in like new condition, but a used copy of a modern Blizzard game is next to useless because the key is the only thing that has any value -- the disc is useless, even the original purchaser doesn't need it. Yet they sell it at almost full price, looking for suckers.
