Cabbage is actually a trigger for me, everything from the cabbage family including broccoli and cauliflower have bothered me.

Your case is the worst I've personally heard of, so maybe my triggers might work for you. Are you taking meds? IANAD, by my doc had me taking prilosec 2x a day when I first started and that helped, until it didn't anymore. Now I take protonix 2x/day before food, and 300mg zantac at night.

Maybe try ensure? I recommend butter pecan original, it's the tastiest flavor and the original didn't bother me like the plus did. Another thing to try is DGL, I mentioned it in someone elses' post but not here. This is the one I use and it's SUPER helpful, chew two half an hour before food and it helps coat your stomach so that food isn't so painful. Also try chamomile tea, it's supposed to help stomach mucus. Also, take super papaya with food once you can manage, it helps with digestion. But that DGL makes a HUGE difference.

Also try extra-watery rice, make it 3c water to 1c rice, it'll make it softer and easier to digest. Rice was the one food i could eat when I couldn't eat any other foods.

Good luck!

Also, PB8 makes a GREAT pill form probiotic for reg, vegan and now I see gluten free. They have a high count of healthy bacterias.

This is the Good Belly one. I bought a case and did it for a month daily. My fav part is that when you peel the lid off the holes the liquid come through are shaped as a smiley!!! lol. They taste like watered down yogurt, and coming from someone who hates yogurt, they taste good.

i learned recently that unfiltered apple cider vinegar can work amazing for any kind of gastric issues (gerd, acid reflux, etc) and natural coconut oil can help if its bacteria related

since you cant swallow pills, Braggs apple cider vinegar probably the most natural organic stuff out there.

tastes like ass but you mix 2 tablespoons with a glass of juice/water daily and youre good to go

best of luck

I might look into that. Wife even went to a doctor in mexico since we tried all kinds of docs here. And he gave her some probiotics too that needed refrigeration they came in little twist off tubes. They worked for a while till prescription ran out. I've read the refrigerated probiotics work best.

I ordered about 5 brands of probiotics and some you see on tv like Align. Didn't work at all. She had some change with this one but not as much as with the ones I listed.

You can find those at Wal-Mart.

Glad I was able to help out a bit. :-)

Congrats on your relief. Question about the slippery elm... Did you let it cool before drinking it or did you drink it warm? I just ordered this one from Amazon to give it a try.

It sounds like you have a lot going on. You might need to approach this from several angles. I would suggest talking with a therapist to get a handle on your depression. You’ve got a husband that loves you and a family that loves you and they all want to see you happy. So maybe talking to a therapist can help you find ways to feel better and see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s there. Someone just has to help you find it.

The magnesium I take was suggested by my acupuncturist: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0063WQM4C/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_kcHvDb98EC6W2

I take 2 before bed. My naturopath has suggested I take L-Theanine. She said it just calms the mind since my mind races and prevents me from sleeping. Its a supplement without any side effects that I can recall. I tried it a while ago but I am bad with remembering to take stuff. The magnesium seems to help me sleep.

If your leg pain is the root of not being able to work then definitely renew your focus on getting it better. Have you tried physical therapy? You most likely need a referral from the Dr but they can work wonders.

I still believe you need to focus on your mind and then dealing with these other issues will seem easier. Every pain is amplified when our mind is not feeling strong.

You are having an immune reaction to whatever it is you are eating. Read this book:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Healthy-Body-Weight-Mind-Steps/dp/132666770X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1536999983&sr=8-3&keywords=healthy+body%2C+healthy+mind%2C+healthy+weight

Start taking glutamine and get a probiotic. You almost definitely have a leaky gut. I would stay off of gluten and see if it improves.

Wow okay, I don't know what that is like. Sorry, I'm from the US and am ignorant on health care in other countries.

Do you have holistic options? Or functional medicine? I have gastritis and see a functional doctor. If you have access to Amazon, there are some supplements you can try for healing the lining of your stomach. Here are some that have helped me.

Metagenics - Zinlori 75, 60 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005P0XCVO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_V07CDb840M5J9

Metagenics - Intesol - 60 Softgels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004GIGADI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_P17CDbT5171PB

Personally, I had to cut out gluten and dairy and that helped alot. Maybe there are things you can try without your doctor. Also can you ask your doctor for a probiotic? Even if they think you have a mental disorder, I don't see why they would deny you a probiotic

I would recommend giving Licorice Root a try. You can get it in the vitamin section at most health food stores. Or on Amazon: Licorice Root 450 mg 100 Caps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00068U73G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_TuNBwbEBNWTT4

It's not instant relief , but it has worked wonders for my own gastritis after taking it 1-2 times a day for a few days.

As for supplements, these ones help me the most, give them a try:

Mastic Gum, Slippery Elm, and Ulcetrol (https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-733739033451-Ulcetrol-Tablets/dp/B0013OXM0M)

Its this stuff.

It’s like cream of wheat. I’m lactose intolerant so I use water to make it.

The only ones I can get in my country are these ones:

https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Plus-Actives-Licorice-Capsules/dp/B0019LVBTS

Amount: Licorice (DGL) (Glycyrrhiza glabra root) (standardized <2% [<10 mg] glycyrrhizin) 500 mg

Other Ingredients: Vegetable cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica, di-calcium phosphate and purified water.
