Like the first book in the series, Another Guest is feel-good science fiction. Though it involves a touch of FTL travel, it remains on the harder side of sci-fi. You are going to want to read it if you are a fan of the following:
Some highlights:
The audiobook is brought to life by Jeanie Talbot, who takes everything in this book to the next level. Everything funny is funnier. Everything emotional is right in the feels. Feel the panics, feel the rushes, feel the mood on every page through her exceptional effort to be pitch perfect on every word.
We've only got one review so far, but check out the amazing reviews for "Guest" , and be reassured this is going to be a homerun. And hey, how about you support some little folks and drop a nice review when you are done with at least the first chapter? I mean, don't just drop five stars before you are completely convinced this was the best audiobook decision you've made all month.
Two things:
To your actual question my only suggestion is something I noticed in Costco today: Idaho The Movie 2. It's available on Amazon though at quite a premium (I think it was $20 or less at Costco).
I read this after I moved here. Ib liked the writing and detail level. Arrington is a great historian. My local library had it. https://www.amazon.com/History-Idaho-Leonard-J-Arrington/dp/0893011762
In Mountain Shadows written by a former U of I professor. He taught some great ID and Pacific NW history classes back in (my) the day.
Yes and no. The stupid attitude is pretty prevalent. Obnoxious comments, bumper stickers, etc. I've never lived anywhere where people whine so much about people moving from other places, especially California. Bashing Californians seem to be the cool thing to do around here. Lots of sheep in Idaho. I was being facetious about the ear plugs, though.
Idahoans are weird. It's definitely the least friendly place I've ever lived. The majority of the nice, cool people I've met in Idaho grew up somewhere else.
In all seriousness, the gazetteer someone recommended is a great idea. I have both and prefer the [Benchmark maps,] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0929591062/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but you can't go wrong with either one.
On Amazon prime there's Idaho The Movie. Provides a good look at many things you can see in Idaho and what part of the state it's in.
It might be kind of fun to start shipping hemp products to our lawmakers. As an example, Costco has sold this product in the Treasure Valley for nearly three years:

Might I suggest this resource: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P131S5C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kQIjDbPZ9HKDP
An image of the cover of the book and nothing else?
Pioneer Days In Idaho County, Volume One
Pioneer Days in Idaho County. Volume 2
I haven't gotten the chance to read the book, but there's a book called They Are All Red Out Here which dives into (at least some of) the labour movements in the pacific northwest, including Idaho.
Um, no as usual you are all turned around and confused. Brainwashed by your liberal buddies that aren't so much anti-gun as much as they are anti Joe Blow civilian having a gun.
Ever heard of John Lott? Well he was a liberal professor that wrote a book to show how bad guns were. Except after researching the book he became a gun rights advocate, got attacked by the left wing nuts like yourself and became one of the most pro-gun conservatives we have. You might want to read his book. Be careful though, it's full of truth and facts. Dangerous stuff for liberals to be exposed to.
