I am surprised that your trainers let you train 6 months without wearing hand wraps as these are to avoid injuries in your hands or wrist. I don't know about cleaning gloves, but about the hand wraps I could recommend using some hand wraps as these ones. I have hyperhidrosis (my hands sweat as if there was no tomorrow) so I bought two pairs of hand wraps and clean them every weekend. I bought a small laundry bag from Walmart just for the hand wraps and just put them with the clothes in the laundry.

When I started training, I bought this book and it is excellent. It has all the strikes, stances, combos, diet, training plan tips etc. It has it all and helped me when I was at home running through strikes etc I was learning in class. As I said it has a full beginner to intermediate to expert training regime in the back for roadwork weights exercises etc. Best of luck, kickboxing is great for mind and body.

I use 2 drumstick looking things like this [one] ( https://www.amazon.com/Sanabul-Natural-Non-Toxic-Deodorizer-Boxing/dp/B01M5DQI0W/ref=pd_cp_200_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01M5DQI0W&pd_rd_r=BMSBK40Y13NF9Y7FSQAY&pd_rd_w=BFiFT&pd_rd_wg=ix6NZ&psc=1&refRID=BMSBK40Y13NF9Y7FSQAY )

They have some kind of woodchips inside that suck up all the smell and the moisture from your gloves.
Been kickboxing for 1 yr, and my gloves still smell like leather, that's it :)
The ones I got are not even any kind of name brand, just found them at the local boxing supply/gear store.

If you got expensive gloves, I honestly would not wipe them with any harsh chemicals.
And then just put the drumstick thing all the way in right after practice. And if you can lay it all in a place where there's some kind of breeze, that's best.

Before I found the Winning NG-2, I tried the Everlast version of those knuckle protectors. They look pretty similar.

The Everlast version were complete garbage. They tore within half an hour of light sparring. Both of them. I couldn't believe they were that bad. I was throwing particularly lightly, and I'm not even a power puncher.

I use ankle support from Twins.

Hayabusa has one that has foot grips too. Check it out.

Come to think of it, a gym I used to train at had a wall bag. Maybe that would work?

I bought the 16oz Everlast gloves from Amazon. They're on sale right now for 35 instead of 50.

On your own you can use a maize or slip bag. I like the aqua training head hunter.

Otherwise go piss off your SO enough that they swing at you. Friends kinda suck at this unless they train.

I use my glove dogs. They absorb the moisture and keep them from smelling.
