I do this very sparingly on this sub, but: I think you in particular might enjoy my book. =)
Thank you, thank you. I still don't have as much knowledge as the great u/sharilynj but some days I still try. Also can I mention, Bears & Balls for anyone who hasn't read it yet :)
You're not the first who's asked for that file.
It was on the Selected Shorts Soundcloud page last year but got taken down. Unless someone saves the podcast the only real hope is that it becomes available for sale at a later date. (I learned from personal experience that this can take a long time - it took several years for me to finally get hold of the Jerry Zaks reading of Philip Roth's "Conversion of the Jews" which made it to CD and Audible.com [after being on cassette-only for a short time years before].)
When he showed pages from the "book" a few days ago I was hoping they'd really publish it! Gotta keep up with Last Week Tonight!
This title and thread was so confusing to me.
He announced the book on purpose. The book is a collection of Trump quotes compiled by the Late Show staff, leading to the book being billed as "by Donald J. Trump (by accident)":
Whose Boat Is This Boat?: Comments That Don’t Help in the Aftermath of a Hurricane By Donald J. Trump (By Accident)
oh cool, i didn't think that was possible for some reason.
if there's no viable streaming option, i might get myself an antenna, and then maybe this cheap tuner with recording capability. i'd have to buy an external hard drive for it, but it beats the $300 tivo options and should work for me since i only really want to record this one show.
